  1. I do believe that there is life at least somewhere else in the Universe, though not anywhere near Earth, or at least not evolved to the point of space travel. Planets and moons in our galaxy have been shown to be capable of harboring life, such as Europa, Gliese 581c, and maybe even Mars, but the life in our immediate vicinity would be primitive, maybe even microscopic. Life elsewhere we have no information about, but even if it had space travel, even at the speed of light it would take a long time to get here.

Therefore, I don't believe in UFOs as aliens.

  2. I'm extending the deadline a day, perhaps more. I want Kopakalaka to enter (he's been working on an entry, he just couldn't get it in today) and I also want to enter. My sister stole the camera today, so I need to take pics tomorrow.

Don't worry if you're thinking "Ohs noes, Bunda will stomp me!" ( :P ) if I win in my prelim poll, me and the second placer will continue, etc.

Not that you'll be thinking that.

Edit: Toa Huki, that picture is so much better than your first.

I didn't want to spend a lot of time taking pictures and have it turn out to be too custom. :)

  3. Freeze - Can't agree with you on the brown sets, unfortunately -- if "lots of fans" would come back for them, where were they when we had them? Brown sets have never sold well, dating back to 2001.

If brown sets never sold well, why did Lego pick that as a color? I'd assume that if the color didn't sell well, then the focus groups didn't like it, correct?

  4. The newly higher cost of a Makuta Mistika was put off for a few years, and for that LEGo deserves gratitude, but it's getting unrealistic to continue that.

Note that the Phantoka were also listed at $12.99, and the Matoran at $6.99. ;)

Maybe these are TRU prices? They seem right to me, considering what Lego costs at TRU these days... :shrugs:

The only thing I can find wrong with Krika is that it only has 2 legs - 4 would have been much better and more bug-like.

    Next Sunday, A.D.

There was a guy named Exo,

Not too different from you or me,

    He worked at Gizmonics Institute

Just another face in red jumpsuit

He did a good job cleaning up the place,

But his bosses didn't like him, so they shot him into space!

    "We'll send him cheesy movies,

    The worst we can find,

He'll have to sit and watch them all

    While we monitor his mind!"

Now keep in mind Exo can't control

When the movies begin or end,

Because he used those special parts

    To build his robot friends!

    Robot Roll Call

    Cambot

    Gypsy

    Tom Servo

    Crow

If you're wondering how he eats and breathes,

    And other science facts,

Repeat to yourself "It's just a show!

    I should really just relax!"

    For Mystery Science Theater 3000!

    This entry is win.
