Toa Wallpapers on BIONICLE.com
Toa of the Blazing Inferno replied to Hapori Tohu's topic in BZPower.com News Discussion
Looks like Tahu's fourth one belongs on the LoSS's page, not where it is. Thanks for showing us those. I missed that third Tahu one when I went to his page. Technically I missed the fourth Tahu one too, but I'm not using that one. -

It wasn't just you but it would have been enough to right-click the image and choose "Show image" or a similar option instead of searching the entire source code.So I could have (I tried it out after reading your suggestion, and it worked). Oh well, I guess I was just in a source code kind of mood. I've been looking for a lot of things in source codes lately. You make it sound like it's hard, but it really wasn't at all. I knew what I was looking for, and I knew what most of the rest of it looked like, so it really didn't take me that long. -

This may just be me, but when I went to Tahu's character page I couldn't click the image that said "wallpaper" near the bottom. I had to go into the source code of that page to get the two that were available. They're cool, and I have them in my current wallpaper slideshow, but I really don't think I should have had to go to that much trouble to get to them. -
BIONICLE In Under Two Minutes

I love that. Why would you add anything to that at all? It looks done to me. If you made something for the current Bionicle line, I would think that'd be its own video, unless LEGO decides to tie this version into the last one, which I'm not sure how they could. -
More Nuremberg Bionicle Pictures
Toa of the Blazing Inferno replied to Hapori Tohu's topic in BZPower.com News Discussion
At first I didn't see the Mask of Creation, and I thought it was supposed to be the one Ekimu was wearing, in which case I wasn't all that impressed, but then I noticed it. I was already planning on getting that set purely for Ekimu (though it doesn't hurt that the villain of that set is partly red), but now I really want it. -
That's basically my plan too, but the one from LB3 has black hands and the newer cowl (not the 2015 cowl, the one with the narrower ears that still has the chin piece). I was going for the comic version actually. In that case, the hands work, but I still think the cowl with the narrower ears would be better. I like that version better in general. I'm just using what I have available. You can use whatever cowl you'd like to. I was just looking to show something off, not for advice. I wasn't really trying to give advice, I was just comparing what you made with my plan. Yours does look pretty cool. My mistake. Thank you. You're welcome.

New LEGO Club Website
Toa of the Blazing Inferno replied to Hapori Tohu's topic in BZPower.com News Discussion
A also recently figured out that a few of the club code unlockables are included in the magazine files. The DCSH comic sequels that they mention a club code for are positioned right after the in-magazine comics. I thought that was pretty cool, since it saves having to look up the code. -

There's a link to download it too, if you want. I plan on taking full advantage of that ability. -

I'm glad they decided to put the full magazines, complete with club codes, online in pdf format for those of us whose subscriptions will be cancelled next year. that way I can separate out the comics if I want, and I can put any posters in separate pdf files for later printing without having to deal with the creases that posters straight out of the magazines would have. Now to see if any future Bionicle comics, if they're going to happen, will also be released in pdf format so I can keep that collection going as well. -
As I posted earlier, I was having trouble running CD 2 when I unpacked it, but I recently tried running the packaged version, and it ran fine for some reason. I guess I don't need help with it after all.

I tried running the dxr file for CD 2 in my Chrome browser on my Windows 7 laptop, but I get a "This application requires an Xtra (QuickTime) that either does not exist or failed to initialize properly. Please make sure the appropriate Xtras are in the Xtras folder(s)." error. Then a screen loads with a black background, a red box with an X in it, and a small image of the outside parentheses things of the UDD logo below that. I also get another error that says "This Shockwave movie has errors that have caused playback problems. Please contact the author of this content regarding this problem. Shockwave is unable to continue." There's background music that plays fine while that second box is up, but once I click ok the music stops and I can't do anything, so I just close the tab. EDIT: I tried Firefox, Safari, and even Opera, all with the same result.

I'm having more troubles. Disk 2 seems to be missing a needed .INI file that it's asking for in order to run.

I downloaded CD 1 without any issue, but I'm trying to download CD 2 and it's saying "Your available browser storage for MEGA cannot handle this download size, please free up some disk space." Any idea how I can fix that? EDIT: It seems to be working fine now, oddly.

Can you give us pictures, or scans if it's a binder, of the pages of the actual Style Guide? I didn't see if you said you were already planning on that, so I thought I'd ask.

Do you read the LEGO Magazine?
Toa of the Blazing Inferno replied to Black Six's topic in LEGO Discussion
I'm over 13, subscribed to the magazine, and I would miss it if they cancelled it on me. I wouldn't have heard of the Iron Man's Lab build instructions if not for my subscription (I love having all my Iron Man suits displayed in it), and, more recently, I liked seeing how they remade the Guardians of the Galaxy teaser poster in the center of the July-August 2014 issue. If they went through with it I'd probably either get it from my local LEGO store or lie about my age to sign up for a new subscription online. Like most of the others here, I wouldn't like missing out on the Bionicle comic, if they started that back up, which I hope they do. My subscription got accidentally cancelled once, and I thought that was because of my age because I'd turned 19 shortly before then, so I thought I should just resign myself to not getting it, but I'm not going to do that again. A downloadable pdf version of the magazine would be cool, because that would mean I'd be able to keep my previous issues more organized. I've been looking for scans of magazine pages off and on for a while so I can build a computer backup of all of my issues so it's not a big deal if I lose them. I'd be very interested in knowing where I can find more of those. TotBI -
Toy Fair 2014: City & Minifigures
Toa of the Blazing Inferno replied to Hapori Tohu's topic in BZPower.com News Discussion
It would seem they're going to keep using the CMF Santa for advent calendars, which I like, because I think that's the best Santa they've ever made. It does, however, give me a reason not to get the City calendar this year, since I already have a CMF Santa from last year's calendar. -
I never expected to see anything like that. That's awesome.

Does anyone have any idea of how to separate the episode from the game so it's downloadable? I have all the others downloaded and I'd like to add this one to my collection. -

The episodes are also on the Marvel YouTube channel, actually. I thought they were pretty cool.
