Ant-Man Poster in LEGO Form
Toa of the Blazing Inferno replied to Hapori Tohu's topic in BZPower.com News Discussion
I really hope they release a print of that, but I don't think it's likely, unfortunately, given that they usually release the image of the poster well before the actual poster if they're planning to release the poster. -
I'm glad that they started uploading the full magazines, because I like downloading the pdf versions and splitting up the pages to put them with my other files from whatever theme the pages are based on. For example, the DC comics in each successive issue seem to be related to each other, so I put the magazine comics and their club code sequels in line in order of release, and I'm thinking I'll combine all those files into one at the end of the year, once the storyline is complete. That's one thing you can't do with the physical versions unless you want to make a mess.

I already mentioned that video here: Jang has a video on how to fix the shoulder friction on his YouTube channel. I'm wondering if I can leave Ekimu with just one supporting gear for his hammer arm, then give the other one to Kulta. If Ekimu can do without two supporting gears, then I won't have to buy any extra pieces, which would be nice.

*sigh* Yep, they're scans. Not digital copies of the originals or anything... Nope, scans. The Lego group scanned their own manuals. Yeah, apologies. Poor word choice on my part. But still, I hope you understand the idea I was trying to get across — that the colors and graphics aren't as distorted as they often have been in past LEGO.com instruction manuals. You could have said image quality, which is applicable no matter where the image came from.

Set Review: 5002943 Winter Soldier
Toa of the Blazing Inferno replied to Hapori Tohu's topic in BZPower.com News Discussion
The only things I don't like about this figure are that the hands need to be changed (right to flesh, left to black) for a true movie version (which is the version I'm focusing on), and that he doesn't come with a weapon. Thankfully I had a flesh hand to spare, so I took out the grey one, switched the black one, and inserted the flesh one. For a weapon I got one of these off Bricklink, because it looked to me like a sniper rifle, and that struck me as the kind of weapon he'd use. -
Set Review: 70795 Mask Maker vs. Skull Grinder
Toa of the Blazing Inferno replied to Dakhann's topic in Bionicle Discussion
I wonder what Tahu would look like with Grinder's orange (?) eyes, what Ekimu would look like with Tahu's blue eyes, and what Grinder would look like with Ekimu's green eyes. -
The Winning Colors

I'm definitely pre-ordering for shipment once the time comes for that. I'm glad I could be the tiebreaker vote. -
BIONICLE Summer Sets Spotted
Toa of the Blazing Inferno replied to Hapori Tohu's topic in BZPower.com News Discussion
I'm glad to see how the MoC stand is put together now, because I plan on replicating that for every G2 mask I have that I want to display and isn't currently on a figure. I also find myself wanting at least three copies of the MoC. I'll put one on Ekimu, display one with my Vahi and Ignika (I know it's a different storyline, but the mask is mentioned there, and that's good enough for me), and save one to go with the masks of control and ultimate power, granted they get made at all. -
Well, even though there will be one winner for the physical copies, now we can all win by downloading the images provided by the seller. Then we can rotate and crop them down to just the storyboards themselves, and even print them if we want. I already did the first step, so I can do the others any time I want.

T-shirt Colors Voting
Toa of the Blazing Inferno commented on Brappy Hour's blog entry in The Sanctuary
I vote 6. -
I already suggested that, but I got shot down.
-
I missed your comment on my design above at first, and thought you got confused by my comment, but I've changed my suggestion now: Would yellow on red work? I'm trying to keep red as one of the colors, seeing as how the image is Tahu.
-
What about red print on an orange shirt? Similar to DeeVee, but I think red print would suit the character better.

LEGO.com June Updates
Toa of the Blazing Inferno replied to Hapori Tohu's topic in BZPower.com News Discussion
The Super Heroes character pages have also been updated with the new characters from the new sets. -
Metal Kanohi (from the past)
Toa of the Blazing Inferno replied to Flintsmith's topic in General Art
It'd be cool if you made the Ignika and the Mask of Creation (once it comes out) in the same color as your Vahi. Then you could have a collection of all the legendary masks in gold. That'd look awesome. TotBI -
BZPower T-shirt Contest 2015
Toa of the Blazing Inferno commented on Brappy Hour's blog entry in The Sanctuary
If you win, I am definitely buying one this year, even though I'd have to have it shipped to me instead of picking it up. I collected nothing but the red characters (making an exception for Mata Nui at the end), including every version of Tahu, during the first run, and I intend to carry that through this run too (making an exception for Ekimu). You definitely have my vote, unless there's a similar design with the old and new Tahu versions that's even better, which I doubt will happen. On a separate note, is the shirt a fixed color, or will multiple colors be available to choose from? I don't remember from the past, because I wasn't interested before now. -
Tahu Designer Video Posted
Toa of the Blazing Inferno replied to Hapori Tohu's topic in BZPower.com News Discussion
How did you get that? -
I'd love to have a dog tag with the UDD symbol on one side and Vitruvian Mata Nui on the other (just etched into it, not 3D like you've done here). I'm a bit of a dog tag collector, if I think the design is cool and it's the actual shape and size of a real dog tag. I think a black tag with the etching making a silver design would look pretty cool.

My first one was Furno 3.0, which I got because it was the current line at the time and I was curious about the system (plus I like red), then I got his 2.0 (I remember I could only find it at TRU online by then, and I was surprised that it was going for retail), then a while later I got his Jet Machine for his minifigure form, because I turned into a minifigure collector after Bionicle ended.

Final Hero Factory Set
Toa of the Blazing Inferno replied to Toa Green Ninja's topic in Hero Factory Discussion
Furno Jet Machine, which I got because I wanted the Furno minifigure, because I turned into a minifigure collector after Bionicle ended. I'm not sure if I'll keep it together or not, but probably not.
