"Tradition" is like the worst attempt at justification for anything in the history of like everrr.

Yeah 'cause like, "it's tradition" doesn't automatically equal "it's good". By definition it's just something passed down from generation to generation. There have been sooo many things long considered "tradition" that were outright appalling, until somebody with sense finally did away with them. I don't get how people can go around saying "traditional this" and "traditional that" like actually makes a difference.
