Canonization Poll: Toa of Plasma's Gender
Toa TAK replied to fishers64's topic in Bionicle Storyline & Theories
Female! Let's mix things up a bit. There are a lot of male-dominated elements. It can't hurt to have another female element. Strong yes for me. TAK- 127 replies

Gravity Hurts Instrumental Released
Toa TAK replied to Hapori Tohu's topic in BZPower.com News Discussion
Glad to have them release this instrumental. Though it makes me think about the future of not only CryoShell's music, but the music for the Bionicle franchise onward. TAK -
I'm pretty stoked for that chapter book, it'll be exciting to see what Windham (great last name by the way ) will bring to Bionicle's story. I wonder how long it'll be though. I can't imagine it being too big since it's still for kids. EDIT: 128 pages it is! TAK

So Cryoshell on their 2014 YouTube account finally released the instrumental to Gravity Hurts after all these years. It's a pretty big deal to me, although I love the original version, the instrumental is just as great and creates a motivational mood quickly just as well. It's right here. For any newer members, they used this song for these videos: The 2008 Retrospective Phantonka Commercial They also gave us a hint about their probable future in the comments section: Exciting stuff for those of us here who are fans of the band who used Bionicle in '07 as a gateway. Really enjoying your series of revamped sets. The Manas looks even more fearsome with the bigger claws and use of black for the primary color. TAK

Poll: Should Cryoshell come back (for Bionicle Gen2)?
Toa TAK replied to fishers64's topic in Bionicle Discussion
Strong Yes for me. Really fell in love with them in '07 with Creeps from the Deep. I think they can produce music that would fit the tone of Gen2. They did something good for Hero Factory. Also, LEGO seriously needs to put up a download of the theme they keep recycling in each video. It's great. TAK- 57 replies

That looks so good, it should be. Though, I think the window of opportunity has passed to use it. TAK

So webisodes are going to be the path of telling the story online now, right? Can we assume the books will cover everything from them, too? TAK -
I am really loving this new Tahu. I hope his character arc continues to be done well. TAK

I got my first Protector (Fire) and I actually really like the build. Minus the weapon, they look odd, but I'm going to go ahead and build the combiner. It's been way too long since I've built one. Also got Kopaka at the same time. Need to grab Onua next. Didn't see him when I got the sets. TAK

MNOG, it's no contest. The adventure and world building was perfect. Meeting these characters and still traveling across this mysterious island was something that wasn't captured again, not even in VNOG. MNOGII was a glitchy mess, and VNOG, while a fun RPG/adventure title, didn't hit the highs of MNOG. TAK

Loved it. My only issue is trying to get that LAST health orb. I could never find it. TAK

Bionicle Game by Telltale Games?
Toa TAK replied to RaidMaster Productions's topic in Bionicle Discussion
They're making a minecraft themed adventure game called 'Minecraft: Story Mode' so they don't just do adult stuff these days That's true, I had forgotten. Though I don't think the potential profit off Bionicle would be anywhere near the size of Minecraft. But either way, a Telltales game based in the Bionicle Universe would be amazing for everyone. TAK -
I'm still holding out for a great Bionicle game. Bionicle Heroes was something I really enjoyed (both console and the GBA version, which is probably the better version ). The character designs, amazing soundtrack, environments, enemy diversity, and third-person mechanics were fun. Nowhere near the level of any other Lego games, but still fun. The latest iOS game is nice, but I'm looking for something with a little more meat, so-to-speak. Something with great gameplay mechanics and a great story for it. I think Bionicle offers tons of flexibility in both departments for a game that good. Though if you had to ask me what kind of game, I'm a little torn. In mah opinion, it definitely has to be an action/adventure/third person game. A game with tons of replayablity that isn't going out and finding thousands of collectibles just to waste your time. Oh, and an epic boss fight. Needs an amazing soundtrack (Jeremy Zuckerman would be perfect. He's done a children show you may have heard of, and the oriental theme would fit this new generation of Bionicle). Some level of customization, can be from appearances or RPG elements when it comes to gameplay changing preferences. I think Co-Op would be a good idea, too, since tons of kids would probably want to play with each other. Bonus content would be excellent, too. TAK

Bionicle Game by Telltale Games?
Toa TAK replied to RaidMaster Productions's topic in Bionicle Discussion
I think I'm at the point where a Telltales Bionicle game would be the best. I loved Bionicle Heroes by Traveler's Tales, but I don't think that within two years we would have enough characters for their formula of Lego games. That and BH didn't get as great as a treatment compared to other Lego games in terms of customization and post-game content. Though the issue with Telltales is that their recent output is adult based, being heavily story-driven as their games are. I think it's possible to do a more kid-friendly game, though I'm not so sure publishers would be up for the idea (maybe they think kids will be bored or other excuses). It's going to be sometime before we ever really get a good Bionicle game. Platinum did a good job with their recent The Legend of Korra game, considering the time constraints and "budget" they were given to do it. Even if we got something of that scale that would still be good. TAK -
Returning Characters In Bionicle 2015
Toa TAK replied to JallerXHahli's topic in Bionicle Discussion
You know, I'm actually really happy they've only brought back the original Toa Mata back from the original line. I'm really excited to see what new stories and characters will come this time (as much as I'll miss Mata Nui). TAK
