    It's been a long day...

    I spent most of it working on dismantling the island of Mata Nui, then I get home and all of a sudden... Halo 4.
     
    Today was long, but the payoff is epic.

    For all readers of the Expanded Multiverse and more specifically the Cipher Chronicles, you may or may not recall the character named Revolution.
     
    If so, you will recall Bonesiii and I had taken plenty of steps in keeping the identity of Revolution secret. In fact, I even resorted to using a nanite android in order to use him without using him, just to keep the identity secret.
     
    You see, Revolution is not, as one might expect, what he seems to be. Revoution was always an envisioned figurehead, someone we wrote into the story who has had plenty of secrets. It is indeed a main character from the Cipher Chronicles, though the truth behind this character goes very deep if you think about it harder.
     
    Now, just by saying all of this, you might know exactly who I am referring to. If so, the short story I plan to write will simply be confirmation, and I hope you enjoy how I present it. If this blog post doesn't give you enough hints, I hope that the story proves to be entertaining in how I present the character's true reveal (I am aware that the V android I pulled was kinda an unreveal, sorry about that).
     
    tl;dr: I get to write a SS, Revolution's in it, read it please kthx.

    I -really- want to get a game going eventually, and I've never felt comfortable playing random games online with people I don't know.
     
    So, I'm inviting the users with Gold XBL membership on the 360 to play. I know there's at least 5 of us around here.

    I seem to have awoken my British bloodline (one of the many bloodlines I have) and I now have a posh accent. x_x
     
    But on the plus side? I'm about halfway through the storyline (I hope). I'm trying to stretch it out over a few days for once.

    So my area is now on a flood watch. Swell.
     
    Fortunately, they say it'll be minor flooding in the Puyallup River.
     
    In the meantime, to the BZP members in the Northeast of the US, stay safe and warm.

    So, it's taken me some time to realize it, but HS01's practically a ghost town.
     
    So I have an idea that just might work.
     
    ... Allowing Fan-created HF related content on HS01 under a new prefix (probably Fanon: or something)
     
    What do you guys think? And please don't just post something silly like "What's HS01" and "Who cares?" because that HARDLY helps me at this point.
     
    In fact, anybody who does will have their post removed by me. I have given my warning.
     
    (Now watch the entire blog staff beat me to the floor for making such a warning XD)

    So, I get to Bellevue around 11:20 AM today. I visited the Bellevue Square mall and went to the best store in the building... THE MICROSOFT STORE!
     
    ... And then the LEGO Store. 20 minutes later, Dorek arrived.
     
    We didn't stick around in there for long. We bought the boss' stuff, like 2 Helm's Deeps, a Monster Fighter Haunted House, a small Friends set for parts, and so forth. I picked out the Vampyre Hearse set, and I bought Dorek a minifig series 8 (the pirate.)
     
    After early brunch, we took off back for Tacoma and I disassembled more of the island of Mata Nui. Thanks goes out to my demolition team from BrickCon (Jason, Micah, the Rileys, and Andrewlox/Katie tag-team) for getting to where I can actually start sorting it. This will day... days x_x

    So yeah, finally got poked enough times to go make skins for the two sites.
     
    BS01's is the second winner from that old contest, and was made by ~MI~. The HS01 skin is one I had kicking around to begin with, and it was decided it was time to make it happen.

    I'm stoked, people. I get to see my friends, I get to hang with the SEALUG AFOLs, I get to display my MOCs, and with luck I'll be able to throw my Wacky Racer down the ramp and get decent video of it working.

    Woo, 6 days til the big one comes!
     
    I have FINALLY secured a space for my Mata Nui island at BrickCon. However, it isn't EXACTLY how I want it displayed, nor where I intended. It's also not finalized yet where it goes.
     
    Fortunately it's got room, the coordinators noted I registered it early enough and they have the room.
     
    Meantime, the other stuff is also ready to go. Let's see what happens there.
     
    And also Xccj's angled mosaic stuff is safely in my care, ready to be assembled. Next Friday better get here soon, my sister keeps wanting to build it.

    I actually finally (it makes no sense why I took so long but there ya go) signed up for VIP points. I decided it was a good time to do so.

    Alright, I have mailed out four of the six prizes to the winners of MakutaFest 2012.
     
    I cannot (at the moment) afford to ship to the two Canadian winners, but I am making arrangements as I type this (I'm -very- resourceful).
     
    The four winners who will receive prizes within the next week are:
     
    TanmaDude (-TD-) who gets a TNGM
    Despair who also gets a TNGM
    Tekulo: Toa of the Breeze, who gets the silver masks
    and Kothra, who gets the mask bag (AND FORGOT TO PUT HIS ZIP CODE IN THE EMAIL GRAAAAAAAAAAAH fortunately I had internet access and looked it up)
     
    Each package has a signed business card from the TbP Group, signed by Dan Parker (I didn't get a chance to sign either those or the mask bag, but if you go to BrickCon I'll sign anything you guys want 8D)
     
    So yeah, that's that. Two more to go, and then we're done.
