    I dunno, you guys gave me good names, but I'm not digging... about 98% of it
     
    I liked Swert06, a lot of what Soran said, dun really like Swertsector01, silly Kyn , Tekulo's list is eh.
     
    I dunno, I'm very picky with branding. It's kinda why when I designed the TbP Group logo I looked at all aspects of it right down to the very pixel positioning. It wasn't easy.
     
    Basically I think SWERT06 will be an acceptable name. But I have an idea for the description that will make up for everybody else not winning >: D

    So um...
     
    I kinda wanna change my blog name. But I suck at naming things (My computers are SWERT01 and SWERT02, my Zune is SWERT03, my phone is SWERT05 (the hard drive in 01 is SWERT04, kinda wish I had named the desktop SWERT02 to match Thunderbirds better but whatever)) and I really want a cool name.
     
    So submit ideas. I'll take any ideas FROM ANYONE. Just remember, keep it BZP appropriate.
     
    Also NO PONIES!

    Okay, I must personally apologize to all MakutaFest people who attended during that question. When writing them, we did research pretty deeply on BS01 directly, and I remembered the Taku but mistakened it for the same role as the Kewa, which is much larger and indeed the one we wanted instead.
     
    One of our biggest errors was in how BS01 worded it: "When the Great Cataclysm brought about the creation of the island of Mata Nui, many Kewa migrated there and established themselves in Le-Wahi. In the wild, they shared their nests with their relative, the Taku."
     
    Now, we do wish to apologize to everyone for that question, it was clearly made in error. Now having said that, I'm still trying to find out if there was a third bird, and I'm thinking "Husi" woulda been a much better answer.
     
    I am now taking all steps towards making BS01 more efficient in searching, including adding categories to pages specifically related to online media and/or specific sets such as the BIONICLE Master Builder set.
     
    I think, with this in mind, we'll be better off in the long run than we were. And at least we had other questions to ask, right?

    Fortunately both phones are insured, and it'd cost me no more than say 100 bucks to replace, and Sprint's cool in that we can add it to our next bill and maybe even set up a payment plan on the bills. So we can handle the blow, but it's gonna take time.

    So Microsoft released a new email service, based on their Outlook branding. It's similar in function (if not identical) to Hotmail, minus the UI.
     
    Oh also? Because it's new, you can register new email accounts. Through your default.
     
    I already registered a few. I might get more later, but let's not get too greedy here

    Basically, I underestimated how many BZP members going to BrickFair would be interested in joining in on MakutaFest.
     
    Therefore we might push the time back to 7 PM EDT/4 PM PDT. (We're -still- discussing this internally, BZP reporting jumped the gun on us.)
     
    And yes, I realize the closing ceremonies is at 6 PM EDT. But if we push it too far back, nobody else could attend.
     
    Sorry folks, I'm really trying my best.

    Now, before you ask, because I know you will, no it's not filled. It's just the case. It's completely empty.

    Also, as an added value, this case can (if requested by the winner) be signed by LEGO Certified Professional Dan Parker, and myself. We will only sign if the winner wants it. Regardless, -all- prizes get signed business cards of Dan Parker's company, signed by both he and myself.

    So, I noticed a topic earlier asking about the online animations from Bionicle past.
     
    So I figured someone was bound to post a link to BS01's page, right? I mean, we do have the animations on there.
     
    Nope. Not even mentioned.
     
    So I decided it's time to update the Media navigation on the front page. Now it has links to anything I could think people would want to research.
     
    And maybe tomorrow when I'm not working? I'll even finish the other undone pages.
     
    So unless my staff wants to do it for me (HINT. HINT.) I'm gonna be busy tomorrow.

    Took me 10 minutes to come up with that title. Now -that's- sad.
     
    So a few small updates on my end, the Mirus are stored safely in my safekeeping. I also have not YET seen TDKR. I'm waiting for the end of the week. Work is steady but it'll be busy all next week.
     
    Basically, I have -nothing- to blog about, cause it's boring here. I should do something amazing and blog about that.
     
    ... Or sit down and do the Office 2013 review I threatened said I'd do.

    Now when I say "For a more pure Floyd listening," nothing can obviously replace just listening to the albums. I recommend that for anyone, of course.

    If Cholie had Delicate Sound of Thunder, I'd have taken a few tracks from that as well (they did a WONDERFUL edition of On The Turning Away on it) but such is life.
     
    Now, this is just the Cholswert list. I recommend you experience Floyd how you wish to. In fact, you can experience -any- artist in any way you see fit. Want to make a Beatles list? Do it. Want a Metallica list? Go for it. There's certainly enough material now to get 3 hours out of Linkin Park, go for it.

    Crazy times

    First off, is it just me or is it weird to have a 20 MB update download faster than it takes to install?
     
    Anyway, so a few people already heard, but remember how I mentioned I was waking up at 6:30 each morning this week to host workshops?
     
    Yeah, nobody showed up. Great.
     
    So I switched back to my normal schedule and proceeded to work on a new project. Once it's done, I will show you all.
     
    Hint: Remember Green Lantern and Captain America from the Bricks Cascade photos on the main page? They have a new justice friend. Who, you may ask? Hint: He's mostly red with yellow accents. Have fun

    Work Next Week

    So for 5 days in a row, I get to wake up at 6:30 AM, catch a 7:30 AM bus, then catch a bus headed towards work and arrive at like 8:30 AM or 9 AM.
     
    So in other words, it's just like when I started working there, only now I'm expected to do stuff when I walk in. Swell.
