LEGO Cuusoo has announced that the seventh set in the fan-driven line will be a thirtieth anniversary Ghostbusters model based on <a href='http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/36088' target='offsite'>this submission</a>. LEGO is building up <I>The LEGO Movie</I> as much as they can, milking it for every brick it's worth. The latest announcement comes from the Master Builders and their series of monthly building challenges in the form of The Emmet Awards. With only ten days to the release of The Lego Movie, Warner Bros. has released <a href='http://www.superherohype.com/news/288845-warner-bros-releases-9-clips-from-the-lego-movie' target='offsite'>nine short clips</a> from the film, expanding just <i>that much more</i> on what we've seen from the trailers. In theory you could use these as a sort of advent calendar, watching one per day up to the release of the film, but none of them are much more than a minute long so I see no reason not to watch them all at once. I guess we've reached a point where we can't report about every single advert and promotion for The LEGO Movie, but this one is totally worth it. Roadshow Films has published a four-minute featurette featuring the entire main cast, the golden voice of Morgan Freeman and robber chicken with a gun. A couple weeks ago, I hopped onto a plane and headed to Birmingham, Alabama to attend BrickFair Alabama 2014. Technically, this is last week's news but I didn't get around to post it and it's better late than never, so here we go! As usual for the month of January, websites are updated and added all around the LEGO servers. One of them is for the new Juniors theme that features modular sets that are easy to build. Something remarkable is that there are also licensed sets for this theme, like Batman. Looks like the fans aren't the only ones excited about The LEGO Movie. Barnes & Noble bookstores will soon be kicking off three months of activities to help build hype and awareness for the upcoming film, <a href='http://www.marketwatch.com/story/barnes-noble-announces-fun-free-event-series-for-lego-fans-to-build-excitement-for-the-lego-movie-2014-01-16?reflink=MW_news_stmp' target='offsite'>MarketWatch reports</a>. The first event will be a Hands-On Learning experience called "Count Down to the Movie" and will occur on Saturday, January 25. Ninjago fans, rejoice! Cartoon Network has announced that the Ninjago TV series <a href='http://www.awn.com/news/cn-announces-new-ninjago-specials-2014'>will continue</a> with four one-hour specials, which should correspond to twelve 20-minute episodes, on January 29 7/6c.
