1. Australian LEGO fans, rejoice! If you pre-order the video game for The LEGO Movie, you get an awesome Mexican Emmet minifigure with a beautiful mustache. It won't even matter on what platform, as they are all part of the promotion! Obviously only while stocks last, so you better be fast. If that smile doesn't convince you, then I fear not even the Melting Chamber will. View the full article
2. It's been a while since we heard anything about it, but it's time again! The website dedicated to the upcoming LEGO Minifigures Online MMO has been updated with tons of information, pictures, closed-beta sign-up and a scavenger hunt to unlock some goodies. Also, IGN has published an interview with Funcom on how Funcom plans not to let the Minifigures game fail like LEGO Universe, among other things. The game is due for release in summer 2014, so this stuff may help ease your wait. View the full article
3. I've seen quite a few awesome brick-built projects over the years, but few, if any, have come close to this. Steve Sammartino from Melbourne and Raul Oaida have built a life-sized car made out of over 500,000 LEGO bricks that drives. What's more, the motor itself is also made out of LEGO bricks and runs on air. I suggest you check it out on the website dedicated to this Super Awesome Micro Project and watch the video footage right here, on BZPower, by clicking the 'more' button! 5. Yesterday we got the official announcement to the LEGO Hero Factory: Invasion From Below Game, today we're getting the trailer! It looks quite exciting to me and I certainly look forward to trying it, not least because the 22-minute episode will be included in the game. You can even see some footage of the episode in the game trailer itself! Check it out here or right here on BZPower by clicking the 'more' button. View the full article
6. Today, Amuzo (formerly known as 4T2) has announced the new LEGO Hero Factory: Invasion From Below game to be released January 2014 in Europe for iOS, Android, Windows 8 and web platforms. Taking control of Rocka, Furno, Evo, Bulk, Breez, Surge and Stormer in a total of nine powerful Battle Machines, you have to stop the beasts from destroying Antropolis City and watch the 22-minute episode animated by Ghost in the process. Click here for more information and read on to see some pictures of the upcoming game! View the full article
7. If you didn't get enough LEGO video game news in the past week, here's another one: Today the first trailer for the LEGO The Hobbit video game has been published. Honestly, it looks quite bland to me and at least in the trailer it even seems to be lacking the famous LEGO humor for the most part but that does not mean YOU cannot be excited for it! In that case, you may want to watch the trailer here or read on to watch it on our site. View the full article
8. Christian Faber recently updated his blog with a couple of cool pictures. He created some Hero Factory MOCs and then added them to some scenery from the past few years of the theme's story. They really showcase Faber's building ability and serve as a reminder that LEGO is in great hands with Advance and Hero Factory should have some great things ahead of it. View the full article
9. LEGO CUUSOO has introduced new House Rules, Terms of Service and Guidelines to projects you can submit. The most notable changes should be in the latter, as from now on, projects must not feature new custom molds, consist of company, team or organization logos and mascots, and new projects must feature only one set and not a concept for an entire theme. Also, suggestions such as minifigure collections, "battle packs" and the like are no longer allowed either. Now I can't say I've been the closest follower of how LEGO CUUSOO has been developing over the years, but these certainly sound like big changes and I can instantly think of a couple of projects that the new guidelines don't allow anymore. What do you think of these changes? Do you think they will harm the site, or will they do good and allow for better realizable projects to get more votes? Share your thoughts in the talkback! After being released on Windows in 2009 and on Mac in 2010, it now gets a new release as an iOS app. The app takes up 793 MB, requires iOS 6.0 or higher and runs on iPhones, iPads and iPod touch. It's free, so the Dark Side of the Force must be truly strong in you if you don't give it a try. 25. Get ready for the Invasion From Below! A trailer for the new episode animated by Ghost DK has been uploaded to the Hero Factory website and honestly, it looks quite exciting.
