LEGO has been quite ambitious with their upcoming Super Heroes theme, so much so that they will be casting the other DC heroes with the Caped Crusader in the sequel to LEGO Batman. Rumored to be due in the summer <a href='http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=35636' target='offsite'>one report notes</a>, The Batman will be joined by characters such as Superman, the Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, and many villains, like Lex Luthor, battling good and evil just like in the original game. "LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes" will continue to provide comical, buildable fun alongside the upcoming sets.

Today I take a departure from posting other people's reviews and post one of my own. And look at that, a Technic set. When was the last time we reviewed on of those? Probably whenever the Bionicle sets still had that label. Read on to learn about the 8071 Bucket Truck and see if this is the kind of set you'd like to add to your collection.

Whether you're a known BZP author, someone with an excess of time on their hands, or just think that writing some Bionicle fiction would be fun, all are welcome. St. Pancras International Station in London is now sporting quite the holiday centerpiece. <a href="http://gizmodo.com/5862515/the-worlds-best-christmas-tree-is-made-of-lego" target="offsite">Gizmodo reports</a> on a 12.2 meter (40 feet for us in the US) tall Christmas tree that has been erected in the station. It has over a thousand decorations and is made up of over 600,000 LEGO bricks, plus some steel reinforcement. Certainly seems easier to maintain than a real tree!

Not the worst deals out there, but I recommend staying home and buying online rather than going to the stores!

Today in the United States we celebrate Thanksgiving with turkey, football, parades, and all the other trappings we've come to know and love. But don't forget to keep in mind what you're thankful for, even if you you're not celebrating today. I would like to thank all of our Staff and Members for keeping BZPower going, even after all of our downtime this year, and LEGO for their great products and fan interaction. Enjoy your Thursday, wherever you are, and if you're in the States, don't get trampled going for those doorbusters tomorrow!

As the biggest shopping day of the year approaches, LEGO and Harry Potter fans have something else to add to their list. The latest TT Games release is LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7. The game is available for PSP, PS3, XBOX 360, Wii, DS, 3DS, and PC. If you want to get the game as a gift for somebody, or just get it for yourself, then check out the gaming aisles of the stores, or just order a copy from <a href='http://shop.lego.com/en-US/VideoGames-ByCategory' target='offsite'>LEGO Shop</a>.

It's not even Black Friday yet and Toys 'R' Us is already laying on the sales. Today and tomorrow, if you buy any LEGO set, you can get the second one 50% off. Star Wars sets are excluded, as per usual. If you can't wait until after Thanksgiving, or if you want to avoid the crowds, you may want to head over to TRU!

There is always a sound of surprise by journalists in LEGO articles, but this report gives a nice behind-the-scenes look at several LCPs and just what their role is in the LEGO community, making for a fresh read.

Keen-eyed Gatanui has spotted a new section on the Ninjago website - a <a href="http://ninjago.lego.com/en-us/World/Videos/movies-musicvideo-360633.aspx" target="offsite">music video for The Weekend Whip</a>, a song by The Fold promoting Ninjago. That reminded me that LEGO had actually provided the song file to Ambassadors a little while ago, so if you enjoy it you can grab it <a href="" target="offsite">right here</a>. It's a catchy little tune, and a funny video, so check it out!

Amazon's German website has posted images and descriptions of next year's first wave of Hero Factory sets. It looks like the canisters have been redesigned, and even the larger sets will come encased in plastic. The prices have thankfully remained the same as well. It's an interesting lineup, with some old, familiar heroes and a bunch of new villains. Read on for the much-desired links. I look forward to these showing up on store shelves!

Today, the Lego store in Chicago, Illinois will be debuting an interactive window that uses a motion-sensing camera to convert audience members into the minifig star of a game. Similar to motion-sensing hardware like the Xbox Kinect, players will be able to control their minifig avatar with their own physical movements. <a href='http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6936045/LEGO-Interactive-window.jpg' target='offsite'>Download a screenshot</a>, or click through to see it and read the accompanying press release.

On top of the new Dino theme target="offsite">showing up on S@H for sale, as reported, the target="offsite">LEGO Dino webpage has now appeared. It offers some interaction as one sorts through jungle leaves and photos searching for a code to unlock the teaser site for some short video clips. Remember the news we reported on way back when about the LEGO movie that would be a combination of animation and live action? Yeah, we barely do too. But it turns out the Warner Brothers has greenlit the film for production. Animal Logic, creators of Happy Feet, will be doing the animation. The film is expected to be in theaters sometime in 2014. Today's date is pretty awesome, awesome enough that Toys 'R' Us decided to use it as an excuse to have a sale. On the LEGO front, select board games are 25% off and all LEGO construction sets are Buy-One-Get-One 50% Off. This excludes the aforementioned board games as well as Star Wars and Mindstorms. Not a bad deal if you're looking to expand your collection!

With the forums back in action, it's time to start featuring MOCs again! <a href="http://www.bzpower.com/board/index.php?showtopic=1370&st=0&p=34748&&do=findComment&comment=34748">Eva Unit 02</a>, created by BZPower Member <a href="http://www.bzpower.com/board/index.php?showuser=81474"Retinence</a> is a jaw dropping model. From the tips of its gorgeous two-tone fins, to the soles of its asymmetrical feet, it is remarkably solid and elegant. Whether an Evangelion devotee, MOCist, or average Lego fan, it's well worth a look.

Andrew Arnold at LEGO was kind enough to let us know that several 2012 sets have made their way onto the LEGO Shop website. There's now a page for the target="offsite">Dino Theme, which looks great. New sets have also been added to target="offsite">City, target="offsite">Creator, and target="offsite">Racers, as well as a couple others here and there. This is probably one of the first chances you'll have to grab these, so go snatch them up!

Back at BrickFair 2011, Ben (Chocolate Frogs), Aaron (Nuju Metru), Rene (Emperor Whenua) and I (xccj) purchased 7985: City of Atlantis and did a video review of it in our hotel room.
