1. Thank you! I'm glad that it seemed close to Templar's animations. I have another animation coming along well, so hopefully I will have something more to share later this month.
2. ___ That's great! Good luck.
3. Thanks. Looking at it again, I suppose it isn't to terribly over speed. I do think I could still tweak it a little, though. And completely redo the flame burp, of course.
4. ___ Thanks. I was pleasantly surprised when I played back the blinking for the first time, as it look exactly like Takua's blink in the final Bohrok animation, despite the fact that I had done it as an unguided attempt. You're probably right about the clicking sound. That should be easy enough to fix for next time. I do know that I'm able to change the frame rate, but it got to be tricky when I was trying to imitate Templar's techniques whilst lowering the number of frames - the animation looked incomplete. The obvious solution is to increase the frame rate and move Kapura less per frame, but I worry that it may create a fluidity that might ruin the distinctive appearance of the animation. Perhaps I'm over-thinking this, and I just need to find a nice frame rate to settle on. Thanks again!
5. ___ Thank you! I'm glad it turned out looking close to the original animations. I am not certain how long exactly it took to make it, but I worked on it for the majority of the previous night and this morning. A lot of that time was consumed was coloring Kapura's various elements and studying "Theft of Fire" frame-by-frame, as well as simply learning how Flash works, as I had only had limited experience previously. I wouldn't say making this was too terribly difficult, once I understood everything.
6. For as long as I can recall, it has been a goal of mine to be able to animate my own videos like the ones seen in Mata-Nui Online Game. Recently, I've begun planning a short film in the vein of those done by Templar that accompanied the BIONICLE.com news updates in 2002 and 2003. With the help of funds generated from http://www.bzpower.com/board/index.php?showtopic=7145]my B/S/T topic and the fact that Adobe gives you a discount if you are a student, I have acquired Flash. With this vital tool in hand, I have been able to begin animating. What I have to share today is a short test animation of Kapura. In it, I am familiarizing myself with Flash and Templar's animation style. Kapura goes through several different motions that are common to Matoran/Tohunga. ....I'll stop boring you with words now. The animation is below: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/VezokofZakaz/Flash/kapura.swf]Kapura Issues I am already aware of: - There is a strange and distracting clicking sound after some of the usual mechanical sound effects. - The frame rate is too fast. I will have to do a bit of tinkering to figure this out. As you probably know, this is also a problem with any of Templar's animations on modern computers. - Kapura's flame burp was too small and quick. It needs to be made more noticeable, and more closely timed to the sound effect. The symbols used are all the original creations of Templar Studios, and the sound effects are theirs as well, provided by that project of BIONICLE media. All due credit goes to them. Enjoy! Feedback is greatly appreciated.
7. ___ Well, I'm fairly certain they are moving, in any case. They said they would be doing so soon, so I'm basically guessing. It could be another issue. ___ Glad I could help! I agree, the music is very nice. It takes elements of some of Justin Lutcher's earlier tracks and combines them into a fitting finale for his composing for BIONICLE (even if, technically, he did a few pieces for MNOLG2).
8. Just to clarify my earlier post, I was referring to the Story Year 2001, 2002, and 2003 animations that LEGO put up in 2004, although the animations that accompanied the Bohrok/Kal news updates are certainly available on the site I mentioned as well. I thought Wrinkledlion X was referring to the story year animations (especially since they are text over pictures, like he described) but I may be confused, and he is truly referring to Templar's animations. If I was right on my original guess, though, it is worth mentioning that all three animations can be seen in a video titled 'The Bionicle story 2001 - 2003' on a popular video site. It isn't the original quality of the animations, but it is something.
9. Are you familiar with that one project that uploaded BIONICLE media? I'm 99% certain they had these animations. I can't name them, unfortunately, as their site now has forums. In addition, the site is down currently, as they seem to be moving to a new server.
10. I don't recall playing this too much when I was younger, but I had fun when I did. I feel a little silly for only just now realizing that the music is a remix of the track that plays when Pohatu battles the Nui-Jaga in MNOLG. But that, combined with the facts that Templar Studios made some earlier Racers games and that the graphics in Supersonic RC remind me of Backlot, leads me to hazard a guess that this was developed by Templar. It's too bad LEGO stopped working with Templar... they really made some great games.
11. If you would prefer that, yes. You would have to send it in the mail, though, and I'm afraid that, in the case that it were not to arrive to me for some reason, I would not be able to refund you.Well, I don't have paypal, so that doesn't work. So yeah, I would prefer cash. However, I have to sort out a couple things first, so I'll PM you when I'm ready. Is that ok?Sure thing! EDIT: Thank you everyone for your interest in my sale. December is here, and I'm going to wrap things up now. I am going to ask for this topic to be closed, and until then I would ask that no one place anymore orders - I would not be able to fulfill them!
12. If you would prefer that, yes. You would have to send it in the mail, though, and I'm afraid that, in the case that it were not to arrive to me for some reason, I would not be able to refund you.
13. Whoops, somehow I completely missed your post. Yes, $30.00 sounds good. Please send me a PM whenever you are ready to pay, and I can give you my PayPal email.EDIT: The first post has been updated, and is now up-to-date on what is being/has been sold.
14. Thank you very much, but as it happens I already have that very Theme Deck, and in great condition no less. I think I will have to pass on your offer. Thanks anyways, though!
15. Yes. Please just send me a PM whenever you are ready to continue.
16. Wazdakka is right, Axonn is for sale.I promise to update the first post soon, so that it stops confusing people as to what is available.
17. It would be $20.00, I believe, plus $6.00 shipping (if you are in the US) so $26.00 total. $6.00 shipping. Unfortunately, I cannot sell you Skrall as I have already sold him to someone else. I'm very sorry about that, it's completely an error on my part as I have not updated the main post in a while.
18. I'm afraid I can't sell you Roodaka, I've recently checked and she is missing a considerable number of parts. The others, though, should be fine. As for your questions, you can ask here or via PM, whichever you prefer.
19. That's fine! Sometimes unexpected things come up, I can't hold you responsible for that. Thank you for your time! That all sounds great. Even without the Boxes, shipping costs may increase, somewhat, though. I will try to get the final shipping price figured out and PM you soon.EDIT: rahkshi guurahk, the shipping for your order would be $10.00.
20. TO EVERYONE WAITING FOR SHIPPING ESTIMATES: These will come tomorrow. Sorry for the delay! Its no trouble, I'd be glad to add those sets to the order. No worries about the quotes, I think it must've taken me years to figure them out myself. :PI assumed that you did still want the canisters, but I appreciate the clarification. It's always nice to know things for certain.Too bad about the cards! I'm sure I'll still track them down yet, though. Thanks for offering them, even though they didn't turn out to be the right ones. $23.00, plus shipping charges. I have only just discovered that Nidhiki's box has suffered a large dent in it's left side, so you may want to take that in to account before we proceed.
21. Ah, and here I was thinking the Platinum Avohkii was lost to history forever! Thanks for sharing, it is nice to know that the person who owns the mask is aware of it's value.
22. It is a little difficult for me to say at the moment, but shipping could range anywhere between $16.00 to $25.00, probably somewhere in the middle. I don't know if that sounds excessive or not, but if it sounds acceptable I can figure out a definite price and we can proceed with the order from there. In the case that we continue, would you like the canisters to be shipped, or discarded alongside the boxes?Thank you! Sure, I can ship them without the boxes. If it helps, QFTM cards numbered 101 through 220 are booster pack exclusive cards. Before that are cards found in the Theme Decks, and after is Rahi Challenge.
23. If you want, I could send you both Norik and Iruni for $5.00, the price of one. If not, then just Norik is fine. I don't believe I have calculated shipping charges for you yet but I will let you know soon. Also, I just read the addition you made to your previous post. With QFTM cards, I'm looking specifically for ones from the original booster packs (perhaps I said that in the first post, I don't recall). If you have any of those, I would be happy to take some of the final price for the sets off in exchange for them. The condition is not terribly important to me, as the cards are getting more difficult to find and I'm happy to be able to get any at all. You could list card numbers instead of posting pictures. Even so, it is alright if you want to email me to continue the trade, as it could possibly help make this thread slightly more navigable for people trying to read through it.
24. A MESSAGE FOR EVERYONE: I am a little swamped with homework, so I'm afraid I'm going to have to catch up on all of the orders this weekend. I may not be able to respond to anything until then, sorry. He would be $5.00, plus $6.00 shipping, so $11.00 total.
