  1. I'm afraid that until further notice I won't be able to post or reply to anything for an unknown amount of time, the charger to my laptop has died and therefore so has my laptop.
  2. Sorry, that was me being lazy and using contract instead of ritual and hoping it would pass. Her power is no where near that strong. She can't level buildings. And even if she could, lets say by weakening the said building by it's supports until it crushed itself, the level of severity of the injury/injuries she would sustain therein would likely kill her. She can't just kill a massive amount of people. Altering a large group would be dangerous and would probably leave her highly wounded and possibly unconsicous, so the sheer amount of numbers alone in a massive group would probably kill her. Most uses of her ability as you envision them would cause her to die. Her ability harms her with every use, the bigger it is the worse. Nothing makes it easier, size or number, whether she builds her way up or starts large, more is worse. Her isn't that confusing. Her parents agreed on her having both last names, Kaiyuki is her first name and Ciel-Rose - which is one name by the way and means Skyrose in french - is her middle she just uses it as her first. She weighs about 150 lbs, give or take a few. 300 pounds isn't that much some bodybuilders lift more all the time. Ronnie Coleman. Her exact limit hasn't been tested but that doesn't mean that's not it. For the shape-shifting, I'll knock it down to two animals.
  3. I have edited Noel and Ciel. The Classification should be okay. And I've put in Ciel's contract terms.
  4. I thought Smiters called upon Divine beings not Demons? Also she's supposed to been trained to summon throughout most of her life and the number contracts has been changed. I assumed most Vampire could lift that much, I was wrong and I've edited Noel. I am I correct in assuming the sword is okay now?
  5. I'm not trying to push for anything. Content with life asked a question, I answered. I asked if removing the vibration would make the sword okay and I never got an answer. I just explained what the full use of her scythes would have been. I've edited. The sword vibrating has been removed completely. Is that what you meant by how developed are her powers? Also, I have another character. Name: Kaiyuki Ciel-Rose Boisblance Midori Gender: FemaleAge: 16Type:ExorcistSpecialization: Summoner and Smiter hybridzationAppearance: Ciel has long reddish-orange hair and Heterochromia Iridum or different colored eyes, one green and one blue. Her face is covered in freckles that are positioned from across the bridge of her nose to both cheeks. Most of her features are that of a youthful - but attractive, person of oriental heritage. She is also considerably shorter than most people her age. Rose's outfit is highly modIfied from the normal school outfit: her jacket is far longer-stopping somewhere around below her knees-with red swirl designs along its length and is far tighter around the middle, it features a large hood and also more zippers, either side can be zipped up - or down - from the bottom to the waist, the outside of both sleeves can be zipped up the middle and the back can be zipped from the neck down to the small of her back. She wears the white collar shirt but it is much tighter, see through, has short sleeves and she wears a black fishnet t-shirt over it. Instead of pants it's a long red hakama like skirt, that also has a sash cloth going across - from the hip to the knee. Most of the time she wears a gold lion medallion around her neck and a sliver and blue signet ring.Personality: Rose is an extremely cheery, upbeat person. She wields glee like a weapon, laughs at almost everything, rarely being down or sad. Ciel's approach to every situation is raw kindness and happiness. No matter what's happened rather than look toward the past, she strives to live in the present. She tries to bring to cheer to people regardless of whether or not she's just met them, for her it's fun. She is an extremely sensitive person. Her feelings get hurt quick and she develops feelings just as fast. Seeing other people hurt or unhappy doesn't sit well with her and if she can she'll oft do everything in her power to make them feel better. Though she takes joy in all things, she loves joking more than most things and she jokes on a constant bases, though never with intent at others expense. The only thing bigger than Ciel's positive attitude is her appetite. Ciel is always, always hungry. She could eat a ton and it'd still not be enough. Her stomach is like an endless pit, no matter what you throw in, there's always room for more.Biography: Ciel was born aboard an airborne plane from Tokyo. Her birth came earlier than expected and her mother, at the time, was struck with an illness and she nearly did not survive, but luckily did. Her mother took this as sign, both her and her child nearly died because she had almost chosen the wrong path. The moment the plane landed her mother called her father and told him that their child would reside in Japan and she would be trained where she belonged. Her mother's entire family was descended from a long line of Exorcists that had been around since before the warring states period. Her father's family though descended from Exorcists had abandoned the tradition long ago and at some point became hunters. They met on a mission together in France and soon after had a relationship, which they both decided against, until he came to Japan for a mission. For the next five years Ciel was trained by her family in Tokyo and, no matter what her mother said, asked nonstop questions about her father. Who was he? Where was he? And most importantly. when could she see him? When she was six her mother tired of her asking questions took her to see her father. Once wasn't enough and for the better part of a year Ciel went back and forth between the two. When she was seven these visits turned into her staying with him, which at first the mother fought but eventually she gave in. When she was eight her mother moved in with them. For the next two years her and her parents lived together in Provence until one night something happened and she was sent to her father's only living relative. For the next to years she stayed and trained with her aunt. On her twelfth birthday Ciel found out what happened to her parents, they were hunted down and killed by a Noble. When she reacted calmly, much to her aunt's surprise, her aunt sent her to Japan for a month. At the end of the month her mother's family rather than send her back to her Aunt contacted her and told her they'd sent Ciel to Venator Academy. Her aunt wanting Ciel to be happy and to follow her brother's last wishes, gave her support. So for the last four, the first two rougher than the last, years Ciel has resided at Venator Academy.Skills/Abilities: Ciel is fluent in French, Japanese and English, is a surprisingly competent combatant, capable of defending herself in hand to hand combat. Ciel is fairly acrobatic and has been trained in the Holy Verse since she could talk. The terms of her contract allow her to alter the physical make up of things around her, make things denser or softer or make people slightly stronger or faster and to fuse with Azur, allowing her to further her physical abilities past human limits. For this there are two prices: One, for any alteration she makes, she must sustain an injury each worse than the last. For example, if she were to change someones muscle mass so that they would to go from being able to lift 20 pounds to 40 pounds then the injury would be something like a strained shoulder but, the next time would be a wound, I.E, a gash or something of the sort. Also, the larger the base alteration the larger the base injury and an attempt to undo an alteration with another alteration will result in a secondary injury. Two, Azur can inhabit her body at any time but doing so will result in physical strain that increases the longer they stay together. The effects of this ability, both alteration and injury are only temporary and fade with time. Weapons: Gold Medallion enchanted by the Holy Verse so that it's grows hotter if a demon is near.Weaknesses: Ciel is very sensitive and seeing other people in pain is like being in pain herself. She isn't the strongest person. The effects of all her contracts are damaging and she's always hungry. Name: Azur Gender: Male Type: N/A Classification: Spirit. Appearance: Azur is tall, pale covered in iridescent blue scales and blue glowing eyes. Personality: Azur is extremely angry at all times, he believes he was wronged by the world and has only just recently started communicating with people. Azur isn't fond of almost anything or anyone, Ciel is a toleration, nothing more. Biography: Azur was a Noble from 200 years ago. He unlike other Nobles, believed himself a king. His lust for power drove to him madness and carved as much destruction as he could where ever he traveled. His time on this earth was ended when a Hunter drove a sword through his heart. In death he longed for revenge but it wasn't until two hundred years later that he would have a chance. For years Azur was bound, at first to the spot where he died, then to the blade that killed him. When the blade was finally removed, though by who is not known to him, he was finally allowed to search for his revenge. His search didn't last long though as all the descendents of his killer were dead save one. Again his revenge was ruined, not only was the girl able to combat his attempts to harm her but she had the aid of other spirits. Outraged at his weakness in death Azur left the girl alone. A week later the girl, in search of a spirit, found him. When proposed Azur accepted to a contract as his after life had no other purpose at the moment. Weaknesses: Azur's powers only work as long as he's in proximity to his Contractor and his powers are weaker if they are not being used by her. Azur is fairly uncooperative and will often refuse to help unless he benefits in some way. Bestiary Entry: N/A Name: Kiyo & Moriya Gender: Female Type: Demon Classification: Nature Spirit. Appearance: Two three tailed white foxes. Personality: Kiyo is extremely morally corrupt, anything she does is to benefit her own cause. Though every now and then she does have moments of kindness. Moriya is fairly good-natured for a Demon. Most of her time she tries to help and if she's not well than the most she does is a cruel joke or two. Biography: Though how they came to be is a mystery how they met Ciel isn't. One day Ciel was wandering behind he Academy grounds and spotted them almost instantly Ciel fell in love. Though they tried to run Ciel cornered them and engaged them in a ritual, and in the end came out victorious. They have been to together ever since. Weaknesses: Nets. Bestiary Entry: N/A Edit: What area I'm I supposed to put what the contract can do?
  6. IC: Kyle Kol opened his eyes as the sound of the crowd moving grew louder. He pulled off the wall and walked behind the crowd. Slowly, he walked after the crowd his gaze turned up came through to the cafeteria entrance. Kol blinked, impressed by the sight of the cafeteria. It was big much like the rest of the academy but there was something different. He shook his head to clear his thoughts, walked toward the nearest lunch line, picked up tray with food on it. Slowly, he pulled a chair out, sat down at the nearest table and thought to himself. He'd wait to find a partner. First he'd eat a meal.
  7. Swinging the scythe into your own head is the mark of someone who doesn't have the skill to use the weapon. The scythe isn't on some flimsy chain, it's connected to the handle and when it's not, the chain is strong enough to not snap. The chain is stored within the handle, the handle disconnects in multiple places allowing a length of chain to slide out, the amount released can be more or less at her "leisure". The handle when disconnected acts as grips along the length of the chain and scythe and can be reconnected at any point. The handle also determines the length of chain released, mostly through the act of turning but also through a series of mechanisms on the inside. The mechanisms once the handle is disconnected lock and only unlock through the act of turning the handle itself. I assume you mean her real age. If so, then what is the oldest one can go yet still be considered a teenage vampire? Do you mean how strong is she? What can she do with her abilities? I don't know how holy enchantment works, I was just asking. The hilt was supposed to be sturdy and It doesn't vibrate without activation.
  8. I won't claim that the use of the Kusarigama is a practical one, but it is a viable one and the overall use of her whip scythes would be similar in a way. I think I understood that right, a regular intake of blood and stopping aging are essentially the same thing. If so I have rethought my position and she has slowed her aging. It was a joke. From what I see the vibration of the blade is a bit of a hassle, were I to remove it make the blade a viable thing? Also, if the Vibration was due to a Holy enchantment or something of the sort, how would that fair?
  9. You...You..How dare you?! A man who hate's scythes is no man at all, even if their anatomy states otherwise! Ahem. Now that I've gotten that out of the way, all jokes aside, when I put whip scythe I meant something like a kusarigama, which is a actual weapon as you already know. The scythes are also retractable and less then half of her height, which now that I think about I should have specified. Too little... Alright bear with me. In taking blood is different from stopping aging? Would it be acceptable to rethink her having not stopped her age? Is coming from an entire family of Nobles reason enough to count as special? What do mean drag? The blade doesn't vibrate all the time just when you activate the trigger. The effect it is supposed to be like Raiden's high frequency blade, which allows the user to cut through things like room temperature butter, only weaker. Even if the sword was a pain to wield, wouldn't the use of an ungainly weapon be the choice of the user? Also, Kyle, possessed Banisher, cool head, mostly sane, is up for grabs.
  10. IC: Kyle Kol stood near the seats closest to the entrance, thinking over what the headmaster had said, or at least what he'd heard. He casually rubbed a hand through his hair. His eyes glanced over all the seats in front of him before he started to walk through the crowd. He moved through the crowd slowly, a hand in his jacket pocket. He sighed as he thought to himself. This task, he thought, wouldn't trouble him much, he had a partner. He'd just have to find her. "But what if you don't find her her?" "Or what if she doesn't want to?" "What then?" Kol thought to himself, with a sudden shift. "Why wait?" He sighed as he walked toward the exit. He didn't want to think about it. He stopped as his foot crossed the threshold of of the exit sign and turned. He didn't want to wait or to be abandoned. He wanted a partner. He let out another sigh and leaned against the wall. He wanted a partner and would ask, just not now. He breathed in and closed his eyes. He'd wait.
  11. The vampires confused me a little, sorry about that. No, she hasn't stopped aging yet, but how developed can her abilities be at that age.? Are there levels? Edit: Also, quick question: Is the seniority of a student dependent on age or must that be specified earlier? Personally, I'd prefer a Summoner hybrid in stead of Blaster but since the blade doesn't shoot but vibrates I don't think there's a need for hybrids.
  12. Name: "Kyle" " Kol'valhayes" Sturmhafen. Pronounced Kol-val-ahl-lay-es.Gender: Male.Age: about to be 18Type: Possessed ExorcistSpecialization: Banisher, Unknown.Appearance: Has wild unkempt brown hair with three long intertwining braids that stop at the base of his neck, calm green eyes, and a young face. A regular outfit except the collar of his shirt is always unbuttoned. There is large blackish blue tattoo running the entire length of his back. Personality: Kol is a fairly calm, often silent person. Kol tries to keep most of his emotions bottled up. The reason Kol tries to keep his emotions held in is because he thinks letting his emotions run rampant, would put others in jeopardy. Silence aside, Kol is a fairly kind person, often willing to help others in need, give a shoulder lean or lend an ear to talk to, and extremely protective of those who befriend him. Rarely does Kol seek out others with negative intent. Overall, Kol is a fairly good-natured person or he at least tries to be.Biography: Born somewhere in Germany, Kol's parents were killed by demons on a camping trip gone wrong. Kol's life was only spared because the demon had only considered the adults the intruder and the young child the perfect host. Soon after his parents were killed Kol was found by a member of the Sturmhafen family. Intrigued by the curious nature of the child, - a lone child out in the forest - the man took the child back to the family manor. The man argued on behalf of the child while at first much of the family opposed him, but in the end he won them over. With the matter of the child discussed, the boy was taken in and raised as their own. The families interest in the boy only peaked when he proved capable of witnessing demonic presence at a far early age than usual. With this development, the family began preparing not only the boy but all of their children. The training was beyond rigorous, the boy was pushed to his limits day after day and never complained. Eventually the family decided to increase the level of training, the boy would fight all of the other children at the same time. The results were unexpected. Something happened and not only did the boy succeed but he was the only one still standing, enamored with the outcome the family continued along a different path. He and all the other children would do everything together as pairs. After years of intense physical training, though lessened some after the incident, at the manor Kol was sent to Venator Academy. Before Venator, Kol spent most of his life training on the family grounds and if not training then learning. Apart from the Academy, Kol's time outside the manor has been fairly limited.Skills/Abilities: Kol is a naturally talented combatant with most weapons and is in excellent physical shape. Kol is a little charismatic.Weapons: Golden gauntlets with black circles on the backs. Though mainly hand to hand, Kol also carries a sword that is made to split into two: one that's sturdier and shorter that serves a shield like purpose, and one that's slightly longer and sharper.Weaknesses: Kol is fairly inexperienced in the matters of the world. Aside from where he was raised there isn't much Kol knows about anywhere else. Kol's knowledge of the verse is fairly lacking.Name: Vyise'lelanGender: UnknownType: Demon.Classification: Unknown.Appearance: It's actual appearance is unknown, but when in control, Kol's eyes become gold, his body becomes covered in black tattoos and he grows more violent.Personality: What little is known about Vyise'lelan's personalty is that it's strange. He is more than prideful, he is vanity. So far he's shown to be extremely violent. What Vyise'lelan desires is unknown, he seems to be content to lie within Kol and bring harm when the opportunity arises. He isn't kind but he isn't rude. To him people, regular humans at least, aren't worth his time. Oddly Vyise is content where he is, his desire to get out in anyway seems to be less than minimal. Many things intrigue him, but emotions are a favorite, the things that they can get people to do are some thing he finds amusing. As far as Vyise is concerned the world is interesting, and for the moment there's no reason for him or Kol, who as far as he's concerned is just him, to not do anything. The only thing that Vyise is as much as he is vain or violent, is secretive. He rarely talks without reason and enjoys harming others. To him secrets are similar to jokes that one person isn't privy to. Vyise is odd, his nature is arrogant but he overall is fairly silent. He doesn't take control of Kol unless Kol loses his emotions.Biography: Vyise'lelan killed Kol's parents and has been with him ever since. In all of his time within Kol, Vyise'lelan has only taken control once. For some reason or another Kol had engaged in a brawl with an arguable horde of people, Vyise took over. Kol might have won or he might have lost but in Vyise's hands, the enemy stood no chance. Kol grew extremely violent and when the enemy came, he thrashed them until he was the only one left standing. Why Vyise did this, whether out of want, concern for Kol's survival or fun doesn't matter, without him Kol would have lost. Ever since Vyise has been fairly dormant, though he still influences a few thoughts every now again. For the most part, Vyise is content to watch from where he is.Weaknesses: Aside from his vanity, Vyise'lelan's weakness are unknown.Bestiary Entry: N/A.Name: Noel" "Noevellayhea" Sturmhafen. Pronounced No-Vell-laye-ha.Gender: Female.Age: 19. Just turned 119Type: Noble.Specialization: Noble Vampire.Appearance: Noel is tall, extremely pale, has long white hair, blonde eyebrows, white eyelashes, pure black eyes and a soft extremely pleasing face. Noel wears a mostly regular outfit except she wears a black pleated skirt and the midriff and back of her shirt are removed. Noel wears a faceless white mask that comes with a hood and long black hair, she also wears a necklace at all times that bears the crest of the Sturmhafen family - a grey swirl with a blue gem in the middle - and wears two black gem bracelets on either wrist, each one with it's own inscription.Personality: Noel is an aggressive yet quiet person. If she's is not giving her usual cold shoulder then she actively tries to push others away. Noel's reason for being the way she is is touch of arrogance and though she manages to keep it hidden, fear, a fear of the unknown. Noel can be kind, but only when she wants. Noel under all her arrogant, angry, bluster, isn't a bad person. Noel tries to be an insensitive person, purposefully ignoring others feelings. The reason Noel does this is because she thinks affection is a form of weakness that is too often exploited and relied upon and one that she will never let be exploited in her.Biography: Noel Sturmhafen is the oldest daughter born to the Sturmhafen family. Throughout her childhood Noel was expected to try and be above others, anything else was less. For years, Noel tried and did this, only allowed to stop once. It took time but the family decided that the children would go to Venator Academy in pairs, Noel as the oldest girl would go as soon as her sibling was ready. It took about a month for her sibling to come of age, and in that time Noel managed to get the family to send her ahead. The one thing the family didn't discuss with the others was that they assigned Noel a special mission, keep an eye on her brother while they were there. Which Noel decided to get a head start on by leaving first. Even if she would only have a month to prepare that was time enough.Skills/Abilities: Noel is stronger than a human easily capable of lifting triple her body weight, though her exact strength hasn't been tested, and easily hitting with similar force. Shape-shifting: Noel can shape-shift into two different types of animals: Aves and Felidae. And the forms of other humans as well.Weapons: Aside from her claws, Twin long black wrist blades and a vial of poison that she uses on both her claws and wrist blades.Weaknesses: Noel is extremely unfond of working as a team. She is bothered by things she doesn't know, people included. Noel fears getting attached to someone. Sunlight and apotropaics.
  13. IC: Taralynn She ran down the path laid before her. She had been running for hours, days, and she couldn't find her way out. She'd been trying for some time, her feet bloodied, the sky had long since darkened, almost as if saying give up, but still she trudged on. Slowly, she turned a corner only to see a dead end in the distance. The only choice at this point to turn back. Slowly, she turned back the way she'd came, planning on rounding the corner and taking the other path, only to yet again be met with disappointment at the sight of another dead end. She turned, both paths had lead to dead ends, and started to run. Her sprint stopped as her travel back up the path was met with another end. A curse slipped from her lips. It made no sense, no matter what she tried nothing worked. Her eyes widened as recognition finally dawned on her. The white slab around, the walls themselves were shifting. Closing in. Her heels crashed against the ground as she tried strained effort to find a way out. Over, under, somewhere. No matter what she tried it didn't work. There was nothing. The walls on either side were growing closer, boxing her in. She stood and beat her fists against the stone until it's gleaming white surface stained dark red. She'd tried everything, digging, climbing, scratching, it didn't, and this. This was her last resort. She stood until there was no longer space left to stand. She wanted to growl, to cry, to scream, but she wouldn't. Even as the feeling that if she did then all of it would stop, she didn't. As the darkness surrounded her she slowly closed her eyes. As the lid on her white tomb closed, the last sound audible was, tears. IC: Alison Alison dispersed. Her mind spreading with her molecules as she swirled. It didn't matter how long it took, she'd made her decision. When Tara got got back she'd be there. She'd wait. As Alison faded, the only sign that she'd ever been there remained below, a puddle. And even that, slowly evaporated. Only dry wood panel in it's place. IC: Tora Tora walked slowly. She was gone. Pietro was gone. He'd failed. Slowly, he walked down the path. He was lost. He had nowhere to go. He'd lost his purpose. Genosha. The Docks. The Tower. Rosalina. Slowly, Tora raised his head. But he would find it again. Slowly, Tora gazed toward the sunset, his hair failing around his eye, before turning and walking, the sun at his back. OOC: Okay, this is my end. It's been a fun ride, but I'm cashing out. I'm not sure whether Tyler is still here but I'll make one last post. Loved it while it lasted, but it's time for me to make my own rpg.
  14. IC: Taralynn, Las Vegas. Hotel Spa. Tara walked in and headed straight for the bed. Not exploding the door had been hard but, the softness of the bed more than made up for it. She wasn't tired, she was just comfortable. Slowly, Tara released a sigh, turned her head to look at Alaric one last time, then shifted, closed her eyes and let herself start to drift off.
  15. IC: Taralynn, Las Vegas. Hotel Spa. She smiled and put one of her hands on his leg. "Much". Tara looked over her shoulder and breathed in. "Though, I could do better..I'll stop" She said and then paused. Slowly, one finger twirled a lock of hair on itself, then dropped, paused, and then slowly brushed across Alaric's skin until she reached his shoulder. "But, I will take another kiss." Tara said as she leaned in for another kiss and then stopped just before their lips touched. "Or not." She said and got up and walked out the door, heading back towards their room. IC: K K cursed as he looked at the smoke. This was his chance, he should just leave now while he could. He didn't want to help anymore, he had to. He stood still for a second and then flung himself toward the smoke, running wasn't an option, though he'd like it to be. He needed to help. IC: Nathanael Nathanael thought. For some reason the people hadn't approached him yet. That was a bad thing wasn't it ,well, wait, it wasn't. He was going to loot or at least try. Nathanael walked forward and reached out to the nearest shelf. As far as he was concerned, if the blokes weren't going to look his way then he was going to loot his way through the store. Slowly, he pulled an item off the shelf and stuffed it in his pocket. If he still felt the urge after he was done, he'd go back out and loot, fight a little more, maybe.
  16. I'm all down for some Brotherhood interaction as I still have no idea where they are, but yeah. Unless there is an plot reason, like an army of human banding together against mutantkind or some mutant shelled people, I think it might be a good move to hold off on the Brother-X team ups.
  17. IC: Kella "shifted", more like a failed toss, then pulled back as something brushed her ribs. Still, even with the shifting, Kella remained unconscious. Though strong It was obvious that her injuries were serious enough.
  18. IC: Alison Alison stood still for a second and watched the proceedings. Her brain sorta went silent as the all people appeared. She'd gone throughout the mansion and none of them had heard her. And though a little strange overall it made her relax, a little. She watched it all, the bickering, the playing, with an eye of interest. It didn't please her in any way but she didn't care either. The residents decision on how they dealt with their matters, was their business. Alison shifted as the commotion scattered. Slowly, she walked toward Alex, who from what she could gather was the person in charge. She barely remembered her last time here, so he could have been then too. She didn't know, and she didn't care. "Alex. Where. Is Tara?" Alison asked. Audible in her voice the smallest hint of emotion. IC: K K stood and then whooped in happiness as the last of the three dropped behind him. He'd done it. It had taken time, but he'd done it. The soldiers were gone, all of them. And rather than jinx himself again, he'd just leave it at that. No, it can't get any worse than this. No, his luck was finally looking up. No, he had to help that pedestrian. He didn't need to do anymore, the guy was safe. Though he had no idea what was going to come next, like getting down or finding the guy, who seemed to have run off some time during the "confrontation". In the end he'd figure it out later, he was alive and that was what mattered. He grinned to himself and then flung himself towards the top of the buildings. He then groaned as he stopped and his instincts saw the fire and smoke coming from the part of the city where the soldiers were most. Of all the things he wanted this wasn't it. But it was, he couldn't, though he considered. The last place, the last thing that needed his help, was the city.
  19. Dude, I'm still playin'. And I'm not sure if you guys knew or not but, the pawn shop Nathanael is in, is the same one as the NA.
  20. IC: Taralynn, Las Vegas. Hotel Spa. Tara grinned as Alaric blinked. Even with the steam clouding the air between them and their lips no longer together, Tara felt a tingling sensation on her lips. Tara looked at him, one hand slowly reaching to touch the black tendrils that formed his mane. " I think that was worth more than just a "wow"." She chuckled lightly, her orange eyes twinkling with mischief. " I think I'll have to rectify that, you?" She said slowly as she moved her head back towards his.
  21. I said the gauntlet could channel without backfiring. I actually wasn't sure if Madara had been talking to me or not. You still have yet to explain what skill set is required. No one said he was stronger than other characters, just that he was capable of using above average abilities. But as I said, I will not argue with the staff. So, I will cease and accept what happened. I acted my character out rashly and paid the price. I would ask for a retry but, that's probably not going to happen. I will return when I have another character.
  22. First off, did you just kill my character? Or am I still capable of replying? What skill set are you talking about? Where did you get the idea that his skills are baseline normal? That seems like a massive assumption. Aside from the fact that regular apprentices aren't just popping out Force lightning and he is, It doesn't take that much to redirect Force Lightning. It is possible to do so with Vaapad, which he uses and specializes in. The Sith Stalker gloves can more-or-less channel it, and he was using his as an aid. And a person of skill can redirect it with their bare hands, and he is a person of at least moderate skill. You may not think that he is because I didn't say," Serentethe is a supremely strong Force user." or something like that, but in all honesty I was never told to nor do I think it's necessary. The very fact that he is capable of using the variants of Force lightning, implies a higher level of skill. The fact that he can use the Push variants, implies this. In truth the same thing can be said for him with Vaapad and Wound. So, what made you decide that he is a character of below normal skill level, wait, sorry, that he was baseline? I did? Please tell me where? I have no recollection of saying that he used the broken claws. I'm pretty sure I said he used the non-broken one. Maybe I should have elaborated and said which hand was which, but it's too late now. Sith Stalker gauntlets which are, usually, made of metal, are meant to channel lightning without backfiring on the user. So, I'm not sure about Bzzap. Yes, Force lightning does take some energy out of it's victims, depending on the strength of the user. And hey! People have been known to survive lightning strikes, there aren't many but it's happened. I missed that somehow, it happens. Never did I assume the Acklay was slow, though I did assume it had a rather soft underbelly, if anything I did the opposite. I kinda wasn't sure whether I was supposed to assume the Acklay was still moving or not, so I just focused on my own character. I also try to refrain from moving other peoples characters, even their NPC's, in my posts as much as possible.
  23. IC: Serentethe within the Jungles of Lehon The Kaminoan flew backward as the lightning struck him in the chest. He slid along the rain slicked grassy forest floor, his white skin streaked with dirt. Slowly, he pushed himself up off the ground and than looked down at the remains of his gauntlet. It was in ruins. His claws were gone. There were cracked patches of metal all along his hand and worst of all his fingers were covered in blood. He gave a near growl as he took a step forward. The lightning missing his gauntlet was unappreciated at best, still the creature would die.. He stopped and stood still. The creature may have broken one of his claws, but he was still intent on killing the creature barehanded. But his goals would have to wait. First, he had to get some distance between them. He ran forward his right arm raised behind him. He then tossed his arm forward, threw a blast of telekinetic energy ahead of him and immediately dashed off to the side, his white form disappearing around the trees. He may want to kill it with his hands but, in his current situation that would have to be postponed in favor of gaining the distance needed for him to gather his thoughts. OOC: I'm not going to debate with you 'cause you're staff, but I would like to say something. He has two gauntlets, one on either hand, and only one broke so he'd still be able to use his hand. I didn't say he was capable of redirecting all Force attacks, but I figured that someone capable of using a certain ability would be able to with the same ability. I'm pretty sure I put that he could use Force Lightning in his profile, maybe I was wrong. Lastly, his gauntlets have a similar function to that of the Sith stalker ones, which I'm pretty sure, are capable of redirecting. Edit: Also, I didn't think redirecting attacks should be counted under skills.
  24. IC: Within the jungles of Lehon Serentethe pushed himself backward with a wave of telekinetic energy, then acting more off instinct than anything else, threw the hand without the broken claws forward. His intention being to channel the lightning through his gauntlet and then back. Serentethe mentally frowned at his claws shattering. The creature's skin being as hard as it had had been a surprise to him.
