  1. You should see the TV episodes. They're awesome (except for Bombad Jedi).

About Anakin having a padawan when he's not really a master yet. I don't think it mattered. Yoda made her his padawan to give Anakin a sense of responsibility. In that case, Yoda probably wouldn't care if Anakin was a master or not.

  2. Greg got to see actual animation? Cool. All Ive seen are some animatics. Guess I'll have to bug somebody to get access... :)

You just have to tease us like that, don't you? :P

So what makes this Makuta Guide to the Universe such good quality then, just out of interest? Shiny cover? Incredible CGI? Amazing colours?

  3. As for the Makuta Guide, I think -- not sure -- they are doing an English language version for publication in the UK.

I think my heart just skipped a beat.

Also, I'm really excited for the movie now. I mean really, REALLY excited. It's bound towin some awards for its graphics, too. If the first three Bionicle movies could win them, then this one's bound to.

  4. I feel sorry for you. Knowing that the guy you've lived with for so long could die any moment now. :(

Still, life moves on. Everybody has members of their family die at some point. I lost my grandad once. I made me sad, but I accepted people must die, and moved along to keep on enjoying life. :)

Tell your dad I wish him good luck. And good luck to you too.

  5. OMG! THIS LOOKS SO AWESOME!

Seriously, I just can't wait. This game looks awesome. And it reminds me of the cancelled Legend of Mata Nui game from 2001.

I hope you can customize your Glatorian. If not, and Gresh is the only playable character, then maybe this game tells the story of when Gresh joined the arena. After all, he is relatively new.

  6. It's great to have you on the forums Greg. :)

I have to say, your Bionicle books are some of my favourite books. Sure, they're short with large writing. But there's loads of them. I love your style of writing and the way you take the story in all sorts of twists and turns in such a way that I just can't get enough of it. Most books I start reading I never finish, but Bonicle books are another thing.

Your Bionicle comics are great too. Great job on the first 2009 one.

Also, I'd like to say I like the difference of the new 2009 story and the direction it's going. It feels different. In a way that makes me miss the old Bionicle, but also in a way that I just love and is something completely new and different.

    Keep up the brilliant work.

  7. Let me explain.

Mass is like weight, you know. So apparently, most of trees weight (or mass) comes from the carbon dioxide. Kind of strange. I would've said bark or wood.

    Let me explain.

Mass is like weight, you know. So apparently, most of trees weight (or mass) comes from the carbon dioxide. Kind of strange. I would've said bark or wood.

Mass is the amount of "stuff" that makes up an object, actually.

Matter is what everything in the world is made of, also known as stuff. Matter itself consists of small particles called atoms. There are different types of atoms, called elements. Atoms can be broken down into smaller parts called subatomic particles. These determine what kind of atom it is. Atoms link together to form everyday substances such as water.

Mass is the amount of matter in an object. It's measured in grams, as a base unit. If something has more mass, or is more massive, then it has more atoms in it. The size of the object does not determine mass, as the molecules can simply be more spread out.

A rudimentary guide for anyone who needs/wants to know the basics.

And photons barely have any mass!

    Silly humans.

I don't know that much about mass, it's a little confusing. :( Could someone please give me a short description? I tried Wikipedia but it was speaking in a language I don't understand.

    :kaukau: Vohkan :kaukau:

The literal definition of mass is "the amount of matter per square centimeter", though the mass talked about here isn't quite the same. This was referring to the matter itself (which I guess could also be called mass).

Of course, I didn't bother thinking of any of this. I just knew all known life is carbon-based, so it had to be CO2. :P

    Thanks everyone. :D

My school's known to be a very good one (not that I like it), so I haven't really got any classmates that do very stupid things.
