  1. Amended to chewing. I was really hungry when I typed if. And longing for fish fingers and custard. I should have had a Snickers... Anyways, thank you all for the well-worded PMs. I'm horrendously sorry for any inconvenience caused, and it shan't happen again. I thought for sure there'd be more grenades involved in the strategies. XD Wolam - Approved +1 Kryllex approved +1Rickety Rustbucket droid - approved +1
  2. Two fingers, yes. Excerpt from a conversation between Ymper and I. They weren't really blanks. And... You made him drop his (to your knowledge) only lightsaber into a swamp. With an almost completely one-sided card game metaphor. Then you shoved a hand over the mouth of a terrified, confused, Padawan, while draining the knowledge from his head and simultaneously keeping him restrained with TK. Lot of things to juggle, dontcha think? Also, fundamentally different from Lord's post, which included environmental factors, terrain, and other clever things. Rule 11. You didn't mention gloves or gauntlets, and I do not assume that his armor would look like heavy plate armor from a Renaissance fair. Most of the armors we see in Star Wars have open fingers, because it's more flexible (as an owner of plate armor style gauntlets, a user of Soresu would probably see his dexterity go down by almost 50% wearing that style of gauntlet). I'll let Basilisk expound on the merits of cybernetics.
  3. Winston - Bahahaha! C: once you've edited that info in, consider it approved +1
  4. IC (Togruta Padawan):The Togruta steadied himself on his severed arm's wrist as he tried to rise, then took a look at limb. His face turned ashen, and he proceeded to vomit all over his hands. "What kind of perverse Sith sorcery is that?"
  5. Lavama, you did blaze through the hyperspace posts. I don't think that Flare realized that though. He's been playing as if your ship has barely gotten off Coruscant. Clones should be on Geonosis already, since Lavama made the posts.
  6. OOC: Who says it was their only Star Map? The cortosis weapons could also have come from crashed Hammerhead ships. :3 It wouldn't be totally inconceivable for Gurrox to believe the story. That being said, Zane is the history expert. And the Togruta is lying through his canines. IC (Togruta Padawan): As the Cathar Sith's attention was shifted away for a moment to summon his speeder, the Togruta clutched his chest, collapsing on top of his severed arm. "What did you do to my heart, Sith?"
  7. IC (Togruta Padawan): "So you have no clue what this is about? We found a stash of a few cortosis-weave swords and a Rakatan Star Map while digging, and took them back to our camp. We were going back to the excavation site to do more digging, but that's what Master Yttro sent us here for. Master Limaech says that the map might unlock some great secret of the Infinite Empire, and would no doubt attract the attention of you treacherous dogs." The Togruta Padawan wheezed once again. "Or should I say cats?"
  8. Boom. Rule 11 has been added in. It's a bit lengthy, but I have to credit both Ymper and Alex for some excellent wording.
  9. IC (Togruta Padawan): The Togruta coughed, feeling a tightness crawling in his chest, as the massive Cathar loomed over him. HIs eyes felt like they had been steamed, and his dismembered arm lay limply on the ground. He looked up, pain written on his face. He grinned weakly, canines visible. "You're Sith, aren't you?" The young Togruta's voice was a soft wheeze. "I'll be d*****. He was right. He knew you'd be coming for it."
  10. I never thought I'd see the day that common sense had to be legislated, but I can see the point. A common sense rule might be helpful.
  11. IC (Twi'lek Padawan): The Twi'lek struggled against Oro's grip, grasping wildly and trying to remove the human's scream-muffling grip over his mouth. He kicked and thrashed, trying vainly to knock the Sith Lord off of him, natural fear and confusion flooding into his mind, as the man sifted through his memories. The memories were scattered, and would not have been of much use to most. The eight Jedi were seated around a fire in the ruins of the Rakatan temple; the sight of the Padawan's own reflection in a puddle of water, green skin and teeth filed down to points; the Padawan and a Miraluka crept from their sleeping bags, and moved from a place of mouldering stone, to a metal hall, dusty and carpeted with thick moss, passing mossy metal frames of fairs and what looked like the interior of a ship's laser cannon turret; then they were carrying a large tub of resin, making their way through vines and under trees- The flood of memories from the Twi'lek's head to Oro's was broken by a searing pain in the Sith Lord's hand. In the Twi'lek's struggle, he had managed to wiggle his neck enough to get purchase on the human's hand. He opened his mouth a little wider and bit down hard, filed teeth trying to severe the ring and middle fingers from Salvador's hand. If Salvador's hold loosened with the pain, the Padawan angled his wrist, aiming to unleash a close-range, desperation-fueled Force Push at the Sith Lord that would hopefully throw him off.
  12. So... looking at the recent Sith Lord posts. I'd like to remind everyone of rules seven and eight. Not saying that I have any specific objections at the moment, but please, be mindful of them. For instance, how quickly can Gurrox "heal" a Togruta's heart 50 years older?
  13. IC (Falleen Jed): The Falleen Knight clapped several times and took the gun from Ze'Taki's hand. "Very well done. For someone who's never used a blaster before."The Jedi Knight slid the heavy blaster pistol into a concealed holster in his robes. He placed his palms against each other, as if in contemplation. "I received my first apprentice from the Council about ten years ago. He was good. Strong. Became a valuable member of the order. The Council recently approached me about a youngling that needed a master.""I agreed to test the initiate." The Falleen smiled at the Shi'ido. "And you've passed with flying colours. Would you like to be my apprentice?"OOC: New profile will be up soon.
  14. Lev, I'd tone it down from intensive knowledge of every lightsaber form to general knowledge. As for knowing how to counter each lightsaber form, do you have any specific counters in mind?
  15. Sith Lord players - Feel free to discretely pick off one or two of Jedi NPCs on Lehon as they're cutting through the undergrowth back to their excavation site. :3
  16. IC (Carawyn Jade): Carawyn felt frustration building in his core as the criminals swept off. He was about to communicate with Kam, telling the other Padawan to continue the pursuit and maintain a visual of the fleeing thieves. However, when the Padawan looked up, there was no red starfighter in the sky.The Zeltron glanced at San Vroon, who seemed completely engrossed with eliminating the last of the criminals in the speeder. He could only hope that the Kel Dor hadn't completely eviscerated the group of lowlifes. The Coruscant Guard would likely want to question any survivors. The young man looked out at the streams of traffic. There would be no chance of catching them in the rush. And it would be foolhardy to try and tackle two fighters with only a pair of speeders. A pair of LAATs hovered down, clone troopers wearing the red armor of the Coruscant Guard disembarking andassessing the chaotic crime scene."Vroon, once you've wrapped up with the Weequay, we're heading back to the Temple. This mission has been an utter failure." The Zeltron frowned and twisted the handles of the Flitknot, beginning the return flight to the Jedi Temple. Master Chask would not be happy. Not when a full group of Jedi was sent out to apprehend the thieves. Speaking of... The Zeltron frowned and touched his commlink. "Nentir, Elara, come in. Are you alright? You took some pretty nasty-looking hits from those fighters. The Coruscant Guard are taking over the investigation, and we'll be returning to the Temple. The kriffers got away." OOC: Now that the acklay/clone interaction is done. Timeskip for the Sith on Lehon. IC (Anshar Rune): The singing of birds woke Anshar from his relatively light slumber. The sun was peeking through the dense tangle of underbrush he, Vel, and Jaceren had taken shelter in over the night. Shelter was a generous word, thought the apprentice, as he sprang to a half-crouched position from his resting place against a thick tree trunk. Mist rose lazily from the brush."Pity that the leaves didn't block out the rain in the slightest." Rune shivered slightly, his clothing practically drenched. He spoke up in a harsh whisper to the other apprentices. "Jace, Aloe Vera, you two awake?" IC (Jedi on Lehon): Master Limaech scowled as he and the other apprentices tramped from the campsite the clones had erected in the ruins of the Rakatan temple. They had just brought out the resin to coat the artifact of the Dark Side, when the floodgates of heaven had opened up, threatening to flood most of their excavation site.It was an unfortunate setback. So, now the Jedi party would have to trudge through the jungles once again, cutting their way through foliage and picking their way through fallen trees, twisted branches and curtains of vines. Oh, and bugs. Many, many bugs. The Barabel blinked and licked his lips. It was enough of a setback to make him curse. At the very least, the clones would remain at the camp, protecting their supplies.
  17. Doctor, I recall saying this when you first posted the profile. Why you did not edit is beyond me.Redirection of Force Lightning is a very difficult ability. We have only seen upper-level Jedi and the bona fide embodiment of the Light Side do it. To redirect Lightning with Vaapad, like Mace Winnfield, you would have to use a lightsaber to form a superconducting loop, be a Master of the form, and have advanced skill with Force Deflection (and probably tutaminis). One gauntlet on one arm does not a superconducting loop make.Ymper, I'm sure you have more to add.
  18. 49 and a lieutenant? Heh, late bloomer. I notice you have two different first names for his master in the profile. Taphan and Leydon. Also, what kind of training did the Zeison Sha give him?
  19. We all know what happened. The Kaleesh were conspiring with the Dark Jedi to unleash a Dark Side super weapon that threatened to blow up another star system.
  20. That's basically a quote from me, Basil. I was responding to Lavama calling General Grievous mostly droid. So was Ilya.
  21. I believe Ilya was saying that Grievous is not a general because he's a "droid." Personally, I'd rather not delve into the can of worms that is the droids vs. organics debate.
  22. I'm finding no record of any profile submitted by that name.
  23. Let them land. I'm sure that Trentin will want to try and call her pals back on Coruscant, and if Tuorri's a gambling man, he might be able to put his pay to good use. I'm inclined to showing the sabaac game as a background event.
