  1. It's not so much the killing of the Nidhiki and Krekka as it is the effect of said killings on the Dark Hunters' reputation. If a client can kill them with impudence, that implies the DHs are weak. There must be restitution.
  2. Hey Kiba! I hope that sending out Hydraxon and Icarax went smoothly, and that you received the money. Will let you know when they arrive.
  3. IC (Falleen Jedi):As Ze'Taki pushed open the door, she came upon a tall, lean Falleen male, clad in the brown robes of the Jedi. He had sharp cheekbones, carefully plucked eyebrows that tapered to sharp, upraised points, and a meticulously groomed goatee and moustache. The reptilian turned to face the Shi'ido apprentice, his long black ponytail streaming in the wind.A simple, cylindrical lightsaber was held loosely in his hand, and the Jedi was standing over the smoking remains of a training droid. "Who are you?" IC (Captain Tremaine):"Get me an ID of that ship. And take out its hyperdrive. Where the heII are my fighters!?" Tremaine stared in disbelief as the smaller ship continued to trade fire with the Arquitens. Though the military vessel's quad-laser cannons had a slightly larger caliber than the Gozanti cruiser, the Edge somehow managed to use its four cannons to pelt at the Lance's shields. At its rate of fire, it was a miracle that the pirate vessel's guns hadn't overheated. A clone gunner's voice rang over the comms. "Sir, we can't pinpoint its hyperdrive with the quad-lasers. Not with our targeting gone." The cruiser shuddered slightly as the concentrated bursts of fire from the Gozanti's quad-lasers punched through a weak point in the shields, the spot furthest from the shield generator. The military vessel's hull could take it, and the damage could be repaired later. For now, they had to find a way to bring the ship's other weapons into play. A clone computer operator jogged up on the bridge, a tablet and holoscreen in his hand. "Captain Tremaine, we have an ID on the ship. The Knife's Edge. Purchased second-hand from a small shipping company off of some backwater world. Documentation says it is owned by one Helor Tuorri. A Kobok from Koboth. I ran a few searches of his name. Small fry crook. Minor bounties from the Hutts, Black Sun, and Zann. 3500 credits on his head in total. The ship was recently seen fleeing after blowing up two LAATs and an office building."Tremaine touched his chin in contemplation, running his hand across his smoothly shaven skin, only to be slightly annoyed by a hair his razor had missed. "Relay the information to Coruscant security, the Proppies, and the news. They'll want to have a scoop on the terrorist scum responsible." The trooper nodded dutifully and sent off the information with a series of quick swipes and pushes of buttons. Tremaine smiled viciously. "Now what's the ETA on my dagomm fight-" The bridge shuddered as the proton torpedoes flew at the Lance. The first slammed into the shields, the explosion temporarily overloading the Arquitens' protection. The second followed closely in its wake, impacting the area between the ventral dorsal quad-lasers, and burrowing into the ship's hull, before exploding in a blast that gutted the Lance's hull. The explosion opened the escort cruiser like a can of preserved bluefish, leaving its crew vulnerable to the cold claws of the void.
  4. Prima facie, I have no objections. It would, of course, depend on the weapon, but yeah, there's nothing that would limit a Jedi/Sith to just a lightsaber. They've used everything from broadswords to sticks.
  5. Would giving the Renaissance a one "night" jump suffice? And should we give the apprentices and lords on Lehon a similar short skip?
  6. Natural consequence I'm afraid, Harrisun me lad. Say hello to your new legs. Well, wheel actually. We're giving you a unicycle.
  7. Excellente. >: ) I love it when a plan comes together. Also, if he wasn't being drained, he could have done more damage... Not the restraint that a Sith Lord is supposed to be able to exercise.
  8. A few panels on an inner hallway/training room/general atrium???! Basil, Ymper, think Darth Probite and staff Darth can reprimand them?Ilya, would he be up to the task?
  9. Energy is a pretty vague term. "Telekinetic energy" would be more descriptive.
  10. Zehv - Low-key confrotations would be best. As long as it's not them charging in with lightsabers blazing. "must have been the wind."
  11. Recon the Jedi. Wait for the Apprentices to make it to Jedi island.
  12. That's exactly the kind of restraint the Sith like. Congratulations to Harrisun on surviving and winning! :)But yah.. Dat repair. Wouldn't work. Have you tried hammering a bent pipe back into shape? Not easy.
  13. Shuhei, how much of the room's wall panels did Allek manage to rip off and send at Lu'o?
  14. Any burn really. It's like a cross between jello, and a friendly cactus. Really really useful little plant.
  15. Gear, once your character has been approved, you can play. Adding them to the front page is mainly for reference. I'm a bit busy, and it's difficult to copy/paste the necessary links on an iphone. It's being delayed because I can't get to it yet.
  16. IC (Anshar Rune): "Now that you mention it, a clearing might not have been the best idea." He shook his head ruefully, the wind swirling about the group. "Upwind. I'm not even sure what that word means right now. Still, your plan is probably as sound as it'll get in this weather. Lead the way, Aloe Vera." The Kage Hybrid felt large drops of rain begin to pound down, smacking against his hood. "Say, Gans, how on earth is your cloak not blowing off your shoulders in this wind?""At the very least, this rain might equalize things a little." Rune smirked slightly. "What I would give to trade places with the Lords. It must be nice up in Darth Recusatia's ship right now." OOC: If only they knew what the Sith Lords were going through.Lehon Jedi post coming later.
  17. IC (Anshar Rune): "Right, right you are Vel." Anshar eyes flitted about the forest. The sound of creaking trees, swirling leaves, and rushing wind was increasing in intensity. The Kage blinked. This forest was alive with the Dark Side, and, truth be told, the hybrid wasn't confident of his or the other apprentices' abilities to sense any of Lehon's predator species in the darkness of the storm. "I'm not worried about the Jedi, my friend."There was a distant flash of lightning, followed by the rolling of thunder. "We're in the thick of the jungle. All it would take is a moment of distraction, and I'm sure that a rancor could leisurely pick us out from the bush." He looked up at the scattered vines above. "And then there's other predators that might be in the trees above." Anshar had to emphasize the last word with a hand gesture, to communicate clearly through the storm."If we could find a clearing within walking distance of the coast, it would make it a bit harder for something-" A flash of lightning turned the darkness into blinding light for a second, before fading away. "-to ambush us." Rune raised his voice slightly, as a peal of thunder sent the trees shaking.
  18. :)And so, peace returns to the Cantina.Basilisk, think Vel is up for leading the apprentices out of the jungle?
  19. I still don't see any salt-sowing.I'm inspired. I think I'll be making a villainous NPC. A slaver who views all species as equal. In the end, it doesn't matter what shade your scales are, the number of your arms, or the size of your city. Everyone can be put in chains.
  20. Oh the Assyrians. :')I'm surprised they don't come up more often in day-to-day discussions.Anyways, Basilisk, we may be needing another Vel post in the near future.
  21. Salting Carthage was a revision added in 1930. Unreliable.
  22. IC (Anshar Rune): "Sure thing. Your untapped potential as a heroic tenor will be safe with me." Anshar's brow had a slight furrow in it, and he glanced up at the sky. It was pitch black, and only the flash of lightning betrayed the broiling clouds. He nodded towards the direction that the Prime One had disappeared. "I get the feeling that he doesn't care. Or maybe isn't capable of caring. I'm not sure which." The thick trees were swaying now, battered about by the wind. "Right. We'd be lucky if we could build even a pond-worthy craft to get to the other island. Let alone trying to float one out into what looks like the start of a typhoon." The Kage stretched slightly and glanced around at the jungle about them. "Still, if possible I want to get out of this mighty jungle. Or at least get to its edge, closer to the beach. I imagine that there are all sorts of beasties prowling about, and climbing up into the trees for shelter would be the last thing I'd want to do in this weather.""Vel, you can probably see better than any of us in this light. Do you think you can lead us closer to the island's edge?"
