  1. Alright, here's a high quality picture of the Flood infected spartans (since apparently we're not using spoilers for it anymore)HereI'm kind of sad that they don't have the little infection form tendrils sticking out. And You can see by the way their melee arm is posed that it will probably work exactly like a sword. Also, I've heard that flood will be strictly multiplayer. Not sure how true it is though, but I see no reason to doubt it.~U_K~

  2. You do realize I said reintroduced, right? You do realize that English has things called prefixes that can change the meaning of words, and imply things in context, even if they aren't said?
I didn't see it, I'm sorry. Surprise, I'm not perfect. I don't know why you're being so hostile all of a sudden. My other points still stand though.~U_K~
  3. It'll probably just work like the Plasma Pistol does.
    What,

the Pulse Grenade? The MLG match showed a red bubble. When the Mongoose of the Red guys hit it, the vehicle turned off, with the same effect of the Plasma pistol ( you know, the blue-ish coloration ), and the driver was insta-killed.

I think it'll devastate the lives of many people.

First off, I don't really think spoiler tags are necessary since we're talking about gameplay mechanics. I don't want to click a spoiler thinking I'm hearing about gameplay and then get some story spoilers.Anyway, I'm not sure what video you were watching. The pulse grenade when thrown activates a small bubble that acts as an EMP and drains shields. At the end of it's shield drain, it will explode, killing anything in the bubble. That's all there is too it. It's essentially energy drain from Halo 3.

Sounds more like just another addition to the endless line of vehicle nerfing. Two brought jacking, Three brought the ovecharge [i don't think that was in two, at least] as well as the Spartan Laser and Missile Pod, Reach reintroduced tracking rockets, now this.Normally I'd say it's just for balancing purposes but I still don't know how much I trust 343.

What? You realize rocket tracking was in halo 2, right? And secondly, it's just like energy drain from halo 3, the only difference being is that you can spawn with it. Lastly, there are other things that will make vehicles more powerful, such as the one specialization that will make vehicles not get completely stunned by EMP bursts. It's fine.~U_K~
  4. You darn tootin' their fighting wordsI'd fight you, but since you're a Khajit/Argoninan, I won't cuz it'd be too easy.
Woah now. I know we were doing bad grammar and all, but "their"? Really? I'm sorry, but you have been disqualified from this argument.Ukay: 1JC: 0Anyway. I hate the stupid dead thrall glitch. My dead thrall disappeared awhile ago, but everyone still asks me to douse my magic. I really wish there was a way to fix it.~U_K~
  5. Hearthfire is great. I adopted Runa and Blaise. Having a bard play in my house is pretty awesome too.Kinda disappointed that Derkeethus couldn't be my steward though. It seems as though certain voice actors don't have the option to be one at all. For example, no Khajit or Argonian stewards, Serena cannot be a steward and neither can Cicero. Whatever, Derkeethus is always with me anyway, and having Aela (my steward) living with me in addition to my wife and bard is pretty awesome.I really wish NPCs would put on clothing that I reverse pickpocket onto them though. I took their clothing off in the hopes that they would wear the tavern clothing or armor I gave to them, but now they just walk around the house naked. Not that my character is complaining.I currently live in the house you get from Dawnstar. I tried to get the Falkreath one, but it was glitched and I couldn't do it. I really like the Dawnstar area though. The house is just northeast of Whiterun on top of a hill. I really like it.Also, having a trophy room is the greatest thing ever.~U_K~

  6. Anyone got Leviathan yet? Is it any good?- Tilius
I did. I actually found it to be quite good. I liked it more than arrival, but not more than the shadow broker. For me it was about tied with overlord, maybe a bit below it. It had a lot of stuff that was not just running around shooting stuff which I really appreciated. If you're a fan of the lore, I would recommend getting it. Not to mention the dominate power makes a return and you can have a live husk head in your cabin.~U_K~
  7. Technically they can start spawning around level 70, but are very very rare (or so I've heard). When I was around that level, I went to every dragon wall and was met with nothing but revered dragons. They commonly start spawning around 78. As soon as I was around that level (I was power leveling and skipped from 77 to 80) I went to Whiterun and a legendary dragon attacked the city almost immediately.~U_K~

  8. Sabre Cat from nowhere? Bam, there goes a fifth of your health. And you can't heal yourself unless there are NPCs in the area. Really, it's only practical using werewolf form in bandit lairs and the like. Out in the wilderness, you're dead meat. And I dread seeing how a Werewolf handles against a frost breathing Dragon that can sap away their stamina and can't be tossed back.
I don't know what kind of super-sabre cats you're fighting. Besides, they die in about 1 hit. And as Doctor said, there's a perk (the most useful one IMO), which lets you feed off everything except draugr and skeletons. And of course a werewolf can't fight a dragon very well. Heck, a mostly melee player also has a lot of trouble fighting a dragon as well. The stamina thing isn't really a problem though, considering that a werewolf's stamina refills super quickly.
Which begs this - how is it that Skyrim, the first ES game with Dragons, and the first ES game where you can marry, doesn't have a Dragon kidnapping your spouse when you're away? That would be epic.
I know this is a joke and all, but I really question the intelligence of a dragon that wants to do this. "Hmm, maybe I should make the dragonborn really mad by stealing his wife. He only defeated and trapped Alduin's right hand man and then killed Alduin himself. I can imagine this going just fine for me!"And I do think it's pretty cool that your friends can get kidnapped by vampires. One of the first people they kidnapped for me was Aela.
Bah! The Argonians are a bunch of tree worshiping (admittedly, the trees are immortal, hyper intelligent life forms) savages. Except for the ones that aren't. In any case, the Dunmer behaved no differently in Morrowind to Nords living there, and the Argonians, as stated above, are as xenophobic as it gets. The Altmer and Bosmer speak for themselves. It's perfectly alright for elves and lizard freaks to murder anybody who enters their homeland, but not Nords?
I hate that kind of logic though. "If they're doing something mean, I should be able to do it too!" Just because someone else is being rude doesn't give you the right to. Sometimes you have to step up and be the bigger man.I'm not saying you're wrong though. You make a very good point. Especially in a world made up of multiple species.
Yeah, they're intelligent. The fact that they're intelligent in the games show they're intelligent. But they're still brutal, and compared to the other races of Tamriel have little civilization.
Woah now, let's not get ahead of ourselves. Argonians may not be the most civilized race (though most of the ones in the games are pretty darn nice), but at least they're not orcs.~U_K~
  9. You think beast mode sucks Lev? Just wait until you get dawnguard. The werewolf perk tree makes werewolves so much more viable. I fought the last boss of the main dawnguard story and it was fun. My sprinting power attack can kill almost anyone in 1 hit. It's great. Plus, having 2 other werewolves join you that can also knock enemies to the ground is very helpful in not only a distraction, but doing damage as well.~U_K~

  10. I finally got my last achievement. I have managed to kill a legendary dragon. It wasn't too difficult, just long and annoying. I power leveled all the skills I had to 100 except for archery and alchemy which both sit at somewhere around 87 right now. After that I was level 80. Then I begun my search across Skyrim. I went to every single dragon lair, but was only met with revered dragons, ancient dragons, or nothing. I almost gave up hope. But then I had an idea. Since Shadowmere respawns after 10 days while you're in a walled city for that amount of time, maybe dragons respawn in the same amount of time on word walls! So, I go to dragonsreach. Just before I start waiting, I decide to talk to a guard to see if he says anything about my new skills I have leveled up. Instead, he just starts to taunt me. Every single thing he says to me is about dragons."My cousin is out fighting dragons and I'm stuck here doing guard duty!" "Did you hear a dragon attacked Kynesgrove? Is nowhere safe?" "I saw a dragon fly northeast to Shearpoint" and so on and so forth. I was getting so angered by him, that I pulled out my swords and was about to attack him, but suddenly, he pulls out his bow. I thought he was going to attack me first! But low and behold, he starts firing at the sky as a legendary dragon flies right into Whiterun. It wasn't a hard battle as long as I interrupted his firebreath with my dual sword attacks.feelsgoodman.jpg~U_K~

  11. That Conrad Verner moment was easily one of the best sidequests in any of the 3 games. Also, that return to Earth free multiplayer DLC is true, and it's coming out next week. Also, the prothean particle rifle is now available as an ultra rare gun in multiplayer.Lastly, this week's challenge "Operation Broadside". Details:Squad Goal: Extract at least one squad member against Reapers on Gold difficultyAllied Goal: Extract 400,000 squads against Reapers on ANY difficultySpecial Circumstance: NoneSquad Goal Success: All squad members awarded a Commendation PackAllied Goal Success: All players awarded a Victory Pack. Medi-gel cap increases from 5 units to 6.EDIT: Wow, found a bunch of new information. Here's pictures and descriptions of all the new classes, and the guns.N7 Fury (adept/Kasumi clone): Throw, Annihilation Field, Dark ChannelFury operatives use implants to fuel biotics and their incredible movement speed. These operatives wind an unpredictable path on the battlefield, moving in and out of combat before returning to unleash a sweeping biotic attack on their unsuspecting targets.N7 Destroyer (soldier (awesome terminus armor)): Multi-Frag Grenade, Missile Launcher, Devastator ModeThe Destroyer's T5-V Battlesuit gives these strong-but-slow soldiers mech-like protection. Driven by eezo-assisted actuators, these frontline troopers carry heavy weapons onto the battlefield.N7 Demolisher (engineer): Homing Grenade, Arc Grenade, Supply PylonThe Demolisher uses grenades to attack at range and to terrorize the battlefield. Demolishers can also create a supply pylon that stocks allies with an unending reserve of grenades and thermal reloads.N7 Paladin (sentinel (not a huge fan of the inferno armor, but whatever)): Snap Freeze, Incinerate, Energy DrainThe Paladin carries a powerful omni-shield onto the battlefield to block enemy fire. The Paladin also uses the shield as a heavy-melee weapon that, when modified with incindiery or cryo upgrades, creates a devastating combination attack.N7 Shadow (infiltrator/ex-phantom): Tactical Cloak, Shadow Strike, Electric SlashShadow infiltrators use implants to dramatically improve agility, making them slippery combatants on the battlefield. Their monomolecular blades are a menace from cover and close range.N7 Slayer (vanguard/Kai Leng?): Phase Disruptor, Biotic Charge, Biotic SlashSlayers use implants to dramatically improve mobility. Their dizzying sword attacks can hit multiple opponents, and the Slayer's ability to slip fire makes them hard to pin down on the battielfield. And here's the guns: Gun 1Gun 2Gun 3 (pistol)Also, there's a platinum difficulty now.~U_K~

  12. My goodness. Just finished up a big sidequest that was included with Dawnguard. The reward I picked of the 3 that was offered is amazing. No story spoilers, just a description of what each of the 3 items did.

Okay, so you could choose to have either A: a dwarven shield, B: a dwarven summoning rod, or C: a circlet. For the shield, when you bash people with it, they become ethereal for 15 seconds, not attacking you, but also being invincible. The summoning rod was cool. It apparently summons a dwarven sphere or spider. However, the one I picked and IMO, the best one was the crown/circlet (especially since I can still wear the Jagged crown with it). This enables you to have 2 standing stones active at the same time, as long as you're wearing it. Now I can have the Lover stone AND the Lord stone.

    ~U_K~

  13. Also, can't wait to get a special shield in my shield mage playthrough. It's a heavy armor shield that stores the damage from blocking and releases it through a super power bash.~U_K~
Isn't it one the Daedric artifacts?
Nope. That's Spellbreaker. It just creates a ward. I'd say the name of this one, but it might be considered a spoiler, even if it isn't related to the main Dawnguard quest.~U_K~
  14. Not sure what bow I should use. On one hand, I have a daedric bow with at least 100 daedric arrows that I can put two enchantments on. On the other, I have an enhanced dwarven crossbow that automatically ignores 50% of all armor, and it's equipped with exploding dwarven bolts of shock. Overall, the daedric arrows and bow do way more damage, so I'll probably be using that.Loving the new Falmer hardened armor as well. Not so much the boots or helmet, but I love the cuirass and gauntlets. Also, I'm not usually a fan of two handed weapons, but their's one Dawnguard two handed hammer that I simply cannot resist, especially since it's helping me power level 3 skills at once. The special thing about this hammer is that whenever you bash a surface while you're blocking, it creates a fire rune on the ground. It's really amazing. And it's great because it doesn't even need to charge this enchantment, it's just an active effect. It has helped me level my two handed, block, and destruction skills so quickly. Also, can't wait to get a special shield in my shield mage playthrough. It's a heavy armor shield that stores the damage from blocking and releases it through a super power bash.~U_K~

  15. Also, after beating the Dawnguard questline, you can ask a certain someone to turn you back into a vampire lord. You don't even have to side with the vampires. Pretty sure this means you can just go between a vampire lord and werewolf infinitely. Also, I love being a werewolf way more than being a vampire. Vampires are cool and all what with all the new powers, but I find that I do way more damage with my werewolf. Granted, I have my werewolf fully leveled in the perk tree, and only like 3 perks for my vampire character, but still. With my werewolf's sprinting attack, I can 1 hit kill most enemies, including higher level enemies like bandit chiefs or forsworn marauders. I can almost kill a briar heart in 1 hit too. If you find yourself in a 1 on 1 scenario versus a very powerful enemy, I think the vampire lord might be better since you can refill your health just by using health drain. However, in the case of multiple enemies, I think werewolf is way better. Multiple enemies attacking you? No problem. Knock two of them to the ground with your power attack, and then kill another one and eat his corpse, refilling your health. Then use the totem of brotherhood to summon two werewolves to help you fight.~U_K~

  16. let them arrest you. They'll take you to the prison, where, to escape, you'll have to join the Forsworns. Their leader will let you escape with them and he'll also give you back everything you had at the time of the arrest. When you'll be in Markarth again, you can either choose to kill the Forsworns without getting a bounty or the guards. But, as you've already done this quest, this probably won't be of any help.

Have to join the forsworn? Screw that. I just turned into a werewolf, killed them all, took his key, and then escaped through the tunnel. Silvermane greets you outside, thanking you for getting rid of the problem. He then tells you you're cleared of all charges, gives you back all your stuff and then gives you his ring which makes smithing 15% better.

    ~U_K~

  17. On that subject - do you know how hard it is to find a stupid water breathing enchantment? It's like they don't even exist. But they do, both the Good Wiki and the Evil Wiki say you can find them. So I'm scrounging the entire land of Skyrim so I can find at least one decent enchantment for my head slot item.
My Argonian laughs at you! Especially since that was one of the first enchantments I found, and I have used it to get my enchanting skill to 100 on all my spare rings and necklaces.~U_K~
  18. Dawnguard is sooo much fun. Werewolves are so much more viable in combat thanks to the new perk tree. I'm a werewolf about 25% of the time now. Also, found a book called "The Sultry Argonian Bard." Quite amusing. Armored trolls look amazing. It's great that you can have one follow you around instead of a dog.~U_K~

  19. The new ending left me satisfied. I still don't like it, but I guess I understand it. I'm just glad they gave more explanation to the god child and closure. Also, started up my save of MUFASA Shepard to see if I could just restart the last mission where you fight Marauder shields and the 3 husketeers, since I've played multiplayer too much and my Galactic readiness is way too high. I did this because the game stops counting new or lost war assets after the cerberus base, and on this old save, I had below 1500.Anyway, because of my awful Shepard, I got to hear what I think is the most hilarious line of the godchild.

First off, these first two things he says anyway, regardless if you have the new content. Instead of saying "wake up", he asks "Why are you here?", and when he tells you "you have choice, more than you know", instead he says "you have choice, more than you deserve".And now for what I thought was hilarious. I'm not sure if it was for low EMS or just what he now says if you question him about the control ending, but still, considering who he was talking to, it was pretty funny."I don't look forward to being replaced by you, but I have no choice."

    ~U_K~

  20. Yeah, Jagged Crown may be cool and well-armored, but it cannot be upgraded anyway. So I didn't even try to keep or steal it.
While that may be true, it also has a glitch that can make it better. It's one of the few helmets that can be equipped while wearing a dragon priest mask or circlet. In my opinion, wearing it with a dragon mask is silly since the helmet isn't visible at all and there's no point other than extra armor. However, with the extra circlet, it can be very useful. Especially if you have the perk in the enchantment tree which lets you put two enchantments on an item. This means that you can have 4 enchantments for your head alone.~U_K~
Wow, really? It would be very useful, I've just found Nahkriin. Where do you think I could find how to do that?
There's no trick to it. Just put on the Jagged crown and then put on a dragon priest mask or circlet. This also works with falmer helmets and Penitus Oculatus helmets. And if you were actually asking about how to get the jagged crown, just pm me and I'll send you a link.~U_K~
Well, I've already found it and given it to Ulfric, so I think I should just try to pickpocket it back from him, right?
I have no idea. I only know of it working using the way I described I don't think they have it in their inventory. You could check though.~U_K~
