I just bought my last two resurgence packs. I was very happy with my results. I finally got the Batarian soldier, and then got his secondary color as well. Got secondary color for my justicar too. I now have all the customization options for the Geth infiltrator (sexy red lights), Geth engineer, Batarian sentinel, and Krogan vanguard (Who I also got yesterday). The Krogan vanguard's skin tone is even more pointless than the Quarian's. I also have all the rare weapons including DLC ones upgraded to the 10th level.And I don't know about you guys, but I love the Krogan vanguard. He's replaced the drell adept as my second favorite character (Right behind the Geth infiltrator). And I've only used him against Geth on firebase white so far, but he is pretty viable on gold if you're not stupid with him.~U_K~

I don't like what they're doing with the mutliplayer in all honesty. Can't we just keep it simple and not have some intricate backstory that no-one will be interested in trying to play?

Hey, at least 343 making the weapons spawn in different places since there will be no camping, no respawning delays, USNC Infinity missions, etc. in multiplayer and I'm pretty sure they know they're doing

It's not intuitive because unlike other Geth weaponry, the Javelin isn't marked as a Geth weapon in its name. You need to actually read the flavour text on it.The Black Widow has generally been considered superior to the Javelin because on Gold difficulty, enemies have a Shield Gate. That means that even a single bar of shield will absorb all of the damage of an attack regardless of the attack's power. The Black Widow has three rounds instead of one, and the rate of fire is fast enough that when uncloaking with a black widow, you can fire enough to have the damage boost from the cloak apply to all three shots. The high-power damage spread over three hits allows you to seriously hurt an enemy and also circumvents the Shield Gate issue. This doesn't apply on the lower difficulties because the Shield Gate does not exist.

I like the Widow but it's surprisingly under-powered. It's great on bronze, good enough on silver, but less then good on Gold. And don't try and take it to a fight with an Atlas, or any boss-level enemy. Unless you're good at getting headshots. In that case, go for it.Got a Batarian Soldier and a Krogan soldier in Spectre packs, as well as the Asari Justicar and the Geth Engineer. ISN'T IT GREAT BUNDA?!And I would highly advise against putting points into melee. As great as the melee is, You need those shields since hunter mode cuts them in half. I play on gold with rank 4 and 5 of fitness in shields (and 3 points in proximity mine because it's more useful than I thought), but I still regularly kill people with the heavy melee. Never use the normal melee either. It's slow and barely does any damage.I still have no Javelin which makes me sad. I have a black widow III, talon II, scorpion II, wraith I, and saber II. It makes me sad when I'm in hunter mode and see someone I could shoot with the Javelin but no the widow.~U_K~

Since I had 650000 credits or so, I figured I buy a few spectre packs because I couldn't wait to have the new packs.In my first pack, I got the geth SMG.In my next one I got a Geth infiltrator. They will span out over several months, encouraging players to return to the game. Game Informer said that Spartan Ops will be comparable in scope and size to the in single-player storyline.

Why Reds Fight Blues

• [*]I think most of us probably guessed this, but reds fight blues and blues fight reds for training purposes. They fight in something called the UNSC Infinity. The UNSC Infinity is a 3km long ship sent into deep space on a mission. It contains a virtual reality sector that creates the multiplayer experience.

Sprint

• [*]So not only is sprint in the game, but it is a standard armor ability. You do not need to pick it up, it will always be available. You do not need to buy it with your Spartan Points, you will always have it equipped no matter what. So essentially, you can have two armor abilities.

Forerunner Vision

• [*]Ever wanted to be super man? Now you can! See through walls with your x-ray vision! I can't say I hate this armor ability, I haven't used it yet. I'm hoping it comes with its weaknesses and it discourages camping. Sorry guys, but camping in Halo 4 will not be a legitimate tactic.

Returning Armor Abilities

• [*]The hologram, jetpack, and active camo will make a return in Halo 4. It didn't elaborate on the abilities, but you can probably assume they'll be about the same.

Elites Not Returning to Multiplayer

• [*]Not much detail was given as to why elites will not see multiplayer combat, it was stated in a picture caption. The caption reads, "Competitive multiplayer focues on the Spartan IVs. Elites will not be playable.

Grenades

• [*]Now the article itself did not talk about grenades, but I noticed in the picture the Spartan had 4 grenade options. I assume the plasma grenade will return as seen from an explosion in the picture and the frag grenade will most definitely return as seen by the Halo 4 first look video.

Firefight

• [*]Once again, no explanation why aside from a picture caption. The caption read, "Halo 4's campaign is still playable with four players online (in reference to Sparan Ops, ensuring players that Spartan Ops will not replace the campaign coop experience). 343 Industries has no plans to include a dedicated Firefight mode. I'm torn on this, I don't normally play firefight, but I feel like it is a standard necessary feature in the game after Halo 3: ODST introduced it.

Regicide

• [*]Regicide is a variation of free for all. I think it's similar to VIP. Regicide, as stated by the article, "sets the leading scorer as the king. Every opponent that the king kills raises his bounty; other players have to kill the king to claim the reward."

Distraction and Revenge Medals

• [*]Don't feel bad anymore for not killing a single person in the game, you can get a medal for being a distraction! Oh, you just got killed and now you're raging at that player? Calm down and get rewarded for hunting down the guy that just killed you![*]Let me make it clear that I do not necessarily see these medals as bad. They just may reward people that don't actually deserve one.

No More Weapon Camping

• [*]One the skills that separated veteran players from inexperienced players was the ability to time power weapons' spawns. In Halo 4, this will be near impossible. Weapons drop down in drop pods at random locations around the map. Quoted from the article, "This gives the matches other focal points, and it also helps alleviate the advantage longtime players always used to have over newer recruits; the best weapons are not always going to be found at the same spawn locations." Unless there is a distinguishable skill gap between players, I most definitely do not like this idea.

No More Respawn Delay

• [*]Immediately after you die, by tapping the X button you are sent back into the match. Now let's contemplate why this might be bad. Let's say Halo spawns are... not so great. A skilled player out BRs/DMRs/whatevers a unskilled player. Now that unskilled player can immediately respawn and find you before your shields even regenerate! I understand 343 is trying to speed up the game, but they must understand the consequences of instant spawns.

Joining In-Progress Games

• [*]So to solve the quitting problem, 343 implemented the ability to join games that are in-progress. My question is are we going to have the ability to search for games starting up instead? It infuriates me to join a game at the last possible second, not even offering me the chance to play

I'm not the only one thinking of call of duty am I? The two worst additions are the instant respawns and the random weapons. I unlocked Krogan the other day and tried it out.The lack of dodging and moving between cover is a deal breaker.

Got an eviscerator 3 out of the victory pack. Cool I guess? Out of the commendation pack I got the valiant. I kind of wanted the hurricane since it's an SMG that can deal pretty good damage even if it has awful recoil, but after trying it out, I realize the valiant's a pretty good gun. I hate the viper, but like the valiant. It's my favorite multi-shot gun other than the black widow.Also, in my first premier veteran pack I finally got a Salarian infiltrator. Looks like I know what I'm buyin' from now on.~U_K~

Well, I don't really make a habit of watching the clone wars, but if I'm watching TV, and it's on, I watch it. I caught the last 3 episodes of the season a few nights ago, and I have mixed feelings. I don't know whether or not I like them bringing Maul back, since it's pretty hard to survive being cut in half. I definitely felt he should've been less crazy, and I really hope they explain why he was half spider on a junk planet. I really like that they gave him the appearance from the Star Wars visionaries comic. I was again disappointed that he didn't fight with a double bladed lightsaber though.IN other news, I am enjoying my 7 day trial of The old republic. It's more fun than any other MMO I've played. Once I get a better computer, I am seriously considering getting it. I love the conversation system, especially when you have more than one person with you. A random guy and I did the Black Talon flashpoint, and it's really cool to see who speaks. My guy was the guy who got to kill the Captain, and I thought that was so cool. It's a shame about limits though. I can't get any higher than 40 for my crew skills and I'm already stuck at the level 15 cap.I really love the new armor my sith inquisitor just got though. It's a cloak with a hood. The part that makes me doubt this the most is that they say there's a prothean vanguard and adept that will be avaliable in multiplayer, and that all that will be free.Still want it to happen though.~U_K~

Well that was scary. I had just finished the mission after Thessia, and when I got back to my ship, all my war assets were reset to 0, and my galactic readiness bar was set to 0% (even though it can't fall below 50%). It was really stressful because I know I'm almost done the game and have done every side mission. Not to mention this affected all my saves, even the ones near the beginning of the game. To relieve my stress, I decided to go play multiplayer. I finally got my human infiltrator up to level 20 (collecting a salarian engineer, krogan soldier, falcon assualt rifle (very good gun), and claymore shotgun along the way), and promoted him to single player. And unbelievably, it fixed my problem. So relieved.~U_K~

While waiting for ME3, I decided to watch the X-men anime on netflix, and while I'm watching, I notice the voice actor for Emma Frost sounds a little too familiar. I start to think "Is that who I think it is?" so I go and look up the voice actor online, and lo and behold, it's Liara's voice actor.Also, my brother just went to go to his university (he'll pick me up at around 10 to go to the midnight launch), and when he starts unlocking his car, he alerts me that it just started snowing.I'm all like "Didn't know snow was part of the Reaper invasion"And he replied "Maybe it's not snow.
