  1. MEGA BLOCKS? HERESY! Unless they're halo mega blocks, I don't want to hear it. And even then it's still pretty bad. ~U_K~
  2. I already have Toxic Reapa, and wanted to see how a hero was. I wanted Breez, but they didn't have her, and I already had her helmet anyway. Never got Furno, and thought he looked kind of cool. I was horribly wrong. ~U_K~
  3. RECENT AND UPCOMING HAPPENINGS: - Gonna post pics of the podracer I made in Gmod - Gonna post pics of a moc I made - Bought the new Furno hero factory set. It's not great. - Bought a halo reach ghost vehicle action figure thing. It's great. - Still playing Mass effect 3's multiplayer. - Making two wooden energy swords in carpentry (Almost done one, it looks amaaazing.) - Managed to fit all my 2008 sets onto a shelf that's about 4 feet long. - My lizard has a swollen hand and lost 3 inches of his tail, more on this later. - My clay stonehenge turned out amazing - Gonna be finishing a sprite comic that I was gonna enter last minute into the comic contest, but I deemed it too funny/was too lazy. - debating whether or not to buy the witcher 2. Heard it's an amazing game, but I've also heard there's a lot of nudity in it. This blog post is brought to you buy "The Adventures of MUFASA Shepard". Stay tuned for the thrlling conclusion! ~U_K~
  4. >Geth using Geth weapons better than other weapons>Not intuitiveWhat? Also, when has the Black Widow been better than the Javelin? Did I miss something? It's not intuitive because unlike other Geth weaponry, the Javelin isn't marked as a Geth weapon in its name. You need to actually read the flavour text on it.The Black Widow has generally been considered superior to the Javelin because on Gold difficulty, enemies have a Shield Gate. That means that even a single bar of shield will absorb all of the damage of an attack regardless of the attack's power. The Black Widow has three rounds instead of one, and the rate of fire is fast enough that when uncloaking with a black widow, you can fire enough to have the damage boost from the cloak apply to all three shots. The high-power damage spread over three hits allows you to seriously hurt an enemy and also circumvents the Shield Gate issue. This doesn't apply on the lower difficulties because the Shield Gate does not exist. Not quite right. On bronze, the shield bleedthrough is 50%. On silver it's 25%. On gold it's 0%. I have the black widow V, and can support it's usefulness. It's much better than the widow X I have. It's a shame though because there's almost no point in using any other sniper. I do really want the javelin though. I like being a boss killer and the javelin would be perfect for that with my Geth infiltrator. Also, I now have all the X rated rare weapons, except for the new weapons. I have a geth SMG IX, a harpoon gun V, and a striker VIII. And is it just me, or has anybody been getting a lot of ultra rare N7 weapons in the resurgence pack? I got 4 last night alone. The black widow V, the saber II and III, and the talon III. Still missing the Javelin and the paladin though.~U_K~
  5. That's because on gold there is no bleed through damage. You cannot hurt their health until their shields are down. I use the widow VII in gold all the time. I have no idea what you mean by not effective against bosses though. That's where the widow shines. With my infiltrator, I can kill a prime on gold in 4 shots, and an atlas in 5.~U_K~
  6. ISN'T IT GREAT BUNDA?!And I would highly advise against putting points into melee. As great as the melee is, You need those shields since hunter mode cuts them in half. I play on gold with rank 4 and 5 of fitness in shields (and 3 points in proximity mine because it's more useful than I thought), but I still regularly kill people with the heavy melee. Never use the normal melee either. It's slow and barely does any damage.I still have no Javelin which makes me sad. I have a black widow III, talon II, scorpion II, wraith I, and saber II. It makes me sad when I'm in hunter mode and see someone I could shoot with the Javelin but no the widow.~U_K~

    Well

Then why did you title this entry "well"? Stop confusing us Brickeens >=( First I think you're doing okay then I find out you're not. I CAN'T STAND THIS EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER! In all seriousness though, I hope you feel better soon. ~U_K~
  8. Since I had 650000 credits or so, I figured I buy a few spectre packs because I couldn't wait to have the new packs. In my first pack, I got the geth SMG.In my next one I got a Geth infiltrator. Words cannot express my joy. Named him Unit HK-47.I bought a couple more for the heck of it, and after getting the ninth versions of guns I already have, I got an asari justicar.~U_K~
  9. At least the Olmak looks way better than the Rahaga head. ~U_K~
  10. Well, apparently there's been some leaked info from a magazine about Halo 4. Some of the new multiplayer features upset me very much. (This info is not mine)Spartan Points [*]Spartan Points is the new currency system in Halo 4. They will buy things such as armor, armor abilities, Spartan Ops missions (see below), and someSpartan Ops [*]This was probably my most favorite addition I saw. From how it was described, think for Spartan Ops like Spec Ops from Modern Warfare but with a storyline. They will span out over several months, encouraging players to return to the game. Game Informer said that Spartan Ops will be comparable in scope and size to the in single-player storyline. Why Reds Fight Blues [*]I think most of us probably guessed this, but reds fight blues and blues fight reds for training purposes. They fight in something called the UNSC Infinity. The UNSC Infinity is a 3km long ship sent into deep space on a mission. It contains a virtual reality sector that creates the multiplayer experience.Sprint [*]So not only is sprint in the game, but it is a standard armor ability. You do not need to pick it up, it will always be available. You do not need to buy it with your Spartan Points, you will always have it equipped no matter what. So essentially, you can have two armor abilities.Forerunner Vision [*]Ever wanted to be super man? Now you can! See through walls with your x-ray vision! I can't say I hate this armor ability, I haven't used it yet. I'm hoping it comes with its weaknesses and it discourages camping. Sorry guys, but camping in Halo 4 will not be a legitimate tactic.Returning Armor Abilities [*]The hologram, jetpack, and active camo will make a return in Halo 4. It didn't elaborate on the abilities, but you can probably assume they'll be about the same.Elites Not Returning to Multiplayer [*]Not much detail was given as to why elites will not see multiplayer combat, it was stated in a picture caption. The caption reads, "Competitive multiplayer focues on the Spartan IVs. Elites will not be playable.Grenades [*]Now the article itself did not talk about grenades, but I noticed in the picture the Spartan had 4 grenade options. I assume the plasma grenade will return as seen from an explosion in the picture and the frag grenade will most definitely return as seen by the Halo 4 first look video.Firefight [*]Once again, no explanation why aside from a picture caption. The caption read, "Halo 4's campaign is still playable with four players online (in reference to Sparan Ops, ensuring players that Spartan Ops will not replace the campaign coop experience). 343 Industries has no plans to include a dedicated Firefight mode. I'm torn on this, I don't normally play firefight, but I feel like it is a standard necessary feature in the game after Halo 3: ODST introduced it.Regicide [*]Regicide is a variation of free for all. I think it's similar to VIP. Regicide, as stated by the article, "sets the leading scorer as the king. Every opponent that the king kills raises his bounty; other players have to kill the king to claim the reward."Distraction and Revenge Medals [*]Don't feel bad anymore for not killing a single person in the game, you can get a medal for being a distraction! Oh, you just got killed and now you're raging at that player? Calm down and get rewarded for hunting down the guy that just killed you![*]Let me make it clear that I do not necessarily see these medals as bad. They just may reward people that don't actually deserve one.No More Weapon Camping [*]One the skills that separated veteran players from inexperienced players was the ability to time power weapons' spawns. In Halo 4, this will be near impossible. Weapons drop down in drop pods at random locations around the map. Quoted from the article, "This gives the matches other focal points, and it also helps alleviate the advantage longtime players always used to have over newer recruits; the best weapons are not always going to be found at the same spawn locations." Unless there is a distinguishable skill gap between players, I most definitely do not like this idea.No More Respawn Delay [*]Immediately after you die, by tapping the X button you are sent back into the match. Now let's contemplate why this might be bad. Let's say Halo spawns are... not so great. A skilled player out BRs/DMRs/whatevers a unskilled player. Now that unskilled player can immediately respawn and find you before your shields even regenerate! I understand 343 is trying to speed up the game, but they must understand the consequences of instant spawns.Joining In-Progress Games [*]So to solve the quitting problem, 343 implemented the ability to join games that are in-progress. My question is are we going to have the ability to search for games starting up instead? It infuriates me to join a game at the last possible second, not even offering me the chance to playI'm not the only one thinking of call of duty am I? The two worst additions are the instant respawns and the random weapons. I don't want games to be won because of luck instead of skill. There's also pictures. PM me and I'll give you a link to the site so you can see what elites, spartans, and grunts look like.~U_K~
  11. IT'S STILL FRIDAY HERE SHUT UP And I can't believe I've done 50 of these. Only about have of them have made anybody laugh anyway. And yes, here's another Mass effect related one. THRO IT OUT DI AERLOCK. Also, for those who don't get the joke, Shepard's wearing collector armor, which is made up of dead protheans or something. ~U_K~
  12. In addition to that, I know what happens if you let Cerberus keep David.~U_K~
  13. Just saw it as well. It looks amazing.Geth infiltrator and krogan vanguard? Yes please. Not to mention that the geth looks very good in terms of customization. The geth infiltrator better have tactical cloak.I'm debating whether or not to name my infiltrator Geth Getherson.~U_K~
  14. Well, it looks like we're getting some free ending DLC this summer. " Through additional cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes, the Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut will give fans seeking further clarity to the ending of Mass Effect 3 deeper insights into how their personal journey concludes." ~U_K~
  15. That's why you spec the sentinel to have maximum shields. On gold, my level 20 Krogan sentinel could withstand like 4-5 melees from cerberus troopers before his shields even went down. In Rage mode, he has about 2100 shields.~U_K~
  16. Two words: Krogan sentinel. Incinerate isn't that useful on it's own, especially on higher difficulties. Tech armor should always be on a Krogan, since there is no downside (unless you put points into incinerate), and his other power is lift grenades which has no cooldown. So heavy weapons have no effect on this class. My Krogan Sentinel has the claymore III and the saber that I just unlocked last game, and I just dominate. And Element Lord, normally I'd be impressed, but as a player who frequently plays gold, bronze is pathetically easy for me now.~U_K~
  17. Keeping it similar while still referencing the new game? YOU BETHCA! ~U_K~
  18. HA!My Salarian infiltrator laughs at you!But in all seriousness, I play on gold fairly regularly now, and find the best class/race combos are Salarian infiltrator, Drell adept, Asari adept, and Quarian infiltrator for Geth. My favorite is the Salarian, with the Drell in second place. Reave is one of my favorite biotic powers.~U_K~
  19. You're right in that you're not allowed to mention the name of the other forums, but you should probably proof read the article before copy pasting. It says the name of the forums in the first paragraph.~U_K~
  20. Got an eviscerator 3 out of the victory pack. Cool I guess? Out of the commendation pack I got the valiant. I kind of wanted the hurricane since it's an SMG that can deal pretty good damage even if it has awful recoil, but after trying it out, I realize the valiant's a pretty good gun. I hate the viper, but like the valiant. It's my favorite multi-shot gun other than the black widow. Also, in my first premier veteran pack I finally got a Salarian infiltrator. Looks like I know what I'm buyin' from now on.~U_K~
  21. Don't worry about that, it's fine to ask.Back in the Days of Halo 3, it was game night almost every night. We even took a group picture of all the BZP members. It's right here. That picture was eventually updated with a lot more members, and even though I wasn't there, someone copied my armor to make it look like I was.Anyway, we don't have official game nights in reach anymore since Halo 3's custom games were much more fun, but if enough people were up for it, I'm sure it could be arranged.~U_K~
  22. In multiplayer, there's common items (blue), uncommon items (silver), rare items (gold), and ultra rare items (black with an N7 "rating"). The scorpion is a black item, along with these weapons as well:[*]Black Widow[*]M-358 Talon[*]M-99 Saber[*]M-77 Paladin[*]M-11 Wraith[*]JavelinAnyway, I changed my avatar and banner because I can.~U_K~
  23. Well, I don't really make a habit of watching the clone wars, but if I'm watching TV, and it's on, I watch it. I caught the last 3 episodes of the season a few nights ago, and I have mixed feelings. I don't know whether or not I like them bringing Maul back, since it's pretty hard to survive being cut in half. I definitely felt he should've been less crazy, and I really hope they explain why he was half spider on a junk planet. I really like that they gave him the appearance from the Star Wars visionaries comic. I was again disappointed that he didn't fight with a double bladed lightsaber though.IN other news, I am enjoying my 7 day trial of The old republic. It's more fun than any other MMO I've played. Once I get a better computer, I am seriously considering getting it. I love the conversation system, especially when you have more than one person with you. A random guy and I did the Black Talon flashpoint, and it's really cool to see who speaks. My guy was the guy who got to kill the Captain, and I thought that was so cool. It's a shame about limits though. I can't get any higher than 40 for my crew skills and I'm already stuck at the level 15 cap.I really love the new armor my sith inquisitor just got though. It's a cloak with a hood. Here's a screenshot of my character with the awesome Khem Val behind him (Forgive the bad textures, but I doubt my computer could handle it if they were higher)Here's the pic~U_K~
  24. Why is it that I have nothing to talk about for long lengths at a time, but then all of a sudden I have a whole bunch of stuff to talk about that can't fit in one entry? Anyway, I started up steam, and I had a gift or something. I go to look at it, and whaddaya know, I have an invite to the CS:GO beta. I did a steam survey awhile back that asked how much you play games on the pc or something, and even though I answered not very much or something, apparently Steam was all like "This guy doesn't play much? Surely we should give this to him!" I'd play it but I doubt my computer can even handle it, so I'm thinking of giving it away to someone who really wants to try out the beta. Apparently the invites are really rare too, and I kind of do want to try out out since I've never played Counter strike and was thinking of buying this on the 360 once it came out. ~U_K~
