Good luck, man! Oh, and if you happen to meet a really tall guy, whose name is Eric, who graduated from the Waring School, tell him Mike said hi. He was a senior at my school two years ago.

Yes, that is one of the greatest series ever to be written. I started reading The Golden Compass on a plane ride, and quickly proceeded to devour it and the other two. The mulefa are amazingly ingenious, though it could theoretically be possible for a creature to grow its own wheels during developement instead of having to use seed pods. It is a unique sci-fi/fantasy hybrid that is so much farther from your generic plotline. You know what that also sounds a lot like? Bionicle. As for the rather extreme hubris of warring with God, I don't think people should be worried or offended. It's too awesome a series to not read, despite the religious aspects.

Wow. I almost forgot this contest ever existed. It's been what, a year now since this thing was started? Anywho, I vote for my good ol' Night Swooper (#2).

... Holy #@$%! ... Carapar yellow Krika blades and Strakk helm! ... Anyway, you must make a MOC(s) using these. The Carapar yellow parts could be used for a pre-barbaric sand Glatorian, or just an outlawed one.

. . . And chameleons change color due to emotions and moods, not voluntarily. That's a common myth. ~B~ Well, they sometimes use it for chamouflage, but mostly to communitcate with other chameleons (e.g. When two male chameleons are in competition with one another over a female, they will darken to near-black to show their aggression). And Bunda, they're aren't any Gecko species that can change their color as far as I know, although most of them have great chamouflage anyway. Maybe you're thinking of Anoles?

Interesting info, Greg. I'm having trouble picturing that in my head (not that I don't like the idea). If one were to remove all of the mechanical implants/armor from a BM inhabitant, what would they look like? As in, do they have skin, scales, fur, ETC. underneath a sort of mechanical exoskeleton, or are the mechanical components more essential to them then that? Also, were the implants created/designed/implanted by someone, or are they natural parts of BM inhabitants' anatomy?

Me neither. Darn quicktime...

Do not try to say that is bad, because it isn't. It's rather awesome, actually. Suprised no one posted this.

Yes, that is what treads are. And I would assume no, it isn't that hard to add a yellow stud somewhere. It isn't exactly that I can't find a place for headlights, I just think the idea of infrared sensors is cool. Could I make a headlight that sines in infrared?
-
Would technic gear chains count as treads? And instead of headlights, can our racer use radar, infrared cameras, or something of the sort?
-
Hmmm... I used to have some really sucky toamod-style MOCs, but that was long before I became a BZPer. Now, I would have to say either this or this, although this...ugh, thing was pretty low-grade, too.
-
Sorry Bunda, I think I probably caused that. I mentioned... *gasp* the L-word.
-
Ditto. As for that topic, methinks Black Six was sushing that menber up to prevent an outbreak of leaked stuff being discussed. EDIT: Wait, I'm a Steely Visionary? Cool! How many posts do you need to be one?
-
Aww, but I voted for you, Bunda... Y'know, all this voting reminds me of something...I can't quite put my finger on it, but it does... *coughcoughBBBCC#2finalscoughcough*

Not to mention keetorange Mata feet and *screams with delight* tan Mata feet!
-
Yeah right, Bunda. That's about as likely as tan becoming a primary color.
-
Holy cheesewidget. 40 million feet tall... That is so epic. About the camouflage- I always thought it just grew there because he'd been asleep for thousands of years. I also didn't think he actually had a purpose; I assumed he was just something the GBs created for fun. Oh, and did Mata Nui just jump from planet to planet, or does he have some sort of propulsion?
-
#1: Yes, that Mata Nui video is epic, though There should be more waves when the islands breaks. It feels so wierd to finally be seeing Mata Nui in the flesh (or should I say metalic protodermis) officially. #2: Wahoo! Obama for president! I was with my class in D.C. at the Dan Rather show when the results were coming in. Both Obama's and McCain's speeches were really good. I felt bad for McCain; the audience kept booing when he congradulated Obama. Anywho, great race.

Orange poll: #4 Blue poll: #4 Good luck to all! -
Green: #1 Orange: #2 Blue: #4 Purple: #2 Red: #2 Uhh, Bunda? A Tarantula Hawk wasp is one animal (not bat, tarantula, hawk, and wasp. Just a bat and a "Tarantula Hawk wasp"). Could you fix that? Oh, and good luck to all!
-
Fixed.

Ditto.

Okay, almost done editing pics. Anybody got a screenshot of a bat from impossible creatures on a white background? There used to be a site with one, but I can't find it. (my entry pic will have both combined animals shown on each side. I have the tarantula hawk, but I need the bat.)
