  1. I don't understand... It all stared as an internet joke, them somehow, somewhen, people started taking it seriously? I mean, what happened? Really, I've watched an episode: not cheesy and lame as expected, but not funny as well, just bland, nothing special at all...
  2. Really nice ones. The Stardust drgaon is veyr good, altough I'm not very fond in the head, and neck is too 'blocky'. Wings are also too small. But I do like the metal arm and feet.As for the Wyvern, I love what you did on the head, but I think wings could be improved: they lack shape and 'substance' .All-in-all, a very good pair, I like them!
  3. Perhaps they're not strictly necessairy, but they do are important. Books that raise questions and make the reader think are the ones who perdure: pure entertainment just last for as long as you read it... However, even if you want not to include a moral, you will: its impossible to disvinculate oneself from its moral beliefs and experiences, and you WILL includ ethem in a work, even unnintentionally: there's no such thing as neutrality... Of course, you don't need to put a moral and force it to the readers(in this case you indeed become a "stupid idealist trying to shove his toughs down another's throat"), you can just include the idea, suggest it and let it gorw, make people question themselves about it: its up to them if they agree or not. But no, don't think you can make a story without ANY moral: whatever moral it is and how subtle it is, doesn't matter, a person's work will always include some kind of judgement, some kind of ideal... otherwise, just program a machien to write it. EDIT: oh, just saw you posted again explaining it better... Anyway, that is still my point...
  4. I currently writing a novel (about 100 pages already), started this year. It a fantays with some sci-fi elements. Actually my first attempt at a serious novel, so it may not ened up being so good... More of a training before getting in the real business. Its all in (brazilian) portuguese, tough, as it is my native language and all...
  5. Nice MOCs. The turquoise one is the best. I'm not veyr into the Jauro one, tough, too basic build... Anyway, try to improve your photography for the next MOCs, these are veyr blurry (try using the Macro option on your camera - its the flower symbol - a bit contrast adjustment also helps)
  6. Nice pair of MOCs. The pilot is good, with nice colors, altough not so flowy on the shape. The bike is very nice, I really like the idea. The hoover parts could be a bit better (at first i tough they were wheels just turned the wrong way), but overall its vyr good. Keep it up!
  7. My rendition of the famous Horseman of the Apocalypse.MOCPages for more pictures (and creepy background music, to get in the mood...) Personally, I'm pretty satisfied with this MOC. Some things didn't come out exactly as expected (like feet and hands), but I still like it. Hope you do as well! Constructive criticism is always welcome (as well as some pure plain compliments =P ) And thats all, folks! NOTE: first pics are edited, they're supposed to be dark ...or something like it
  8. Lovely. Good shape and build, looks good. Perhaps could use more white on the legs, but I'm not sure.
  9. Lovely. Nice shape and the weirdness make me like it even more. Good job!
  10. Great! Love its design, mechanichal and very cool looking, That head is amazing!
  11. Awesome! I've seen this on flickr, I believe, and its truly great. Even tough with the not-so-clean Bionicle peieces, you managed to make it still look Portal-esque, and the colors only make it moe menacing. Great job.
  12. Nice one. A bit gappy on the chest, and waits could be beefed up. Hands could be bigger as well. Overall, very good.
  13. This is great, the functiosn are very well done. Gotta say its not so pleasing aesthetically, but its hard to be both.
  14. Thank you all for commenting, people! Well, it happens all these MOCs are already dismantled (I always do that before starting new ones), but be sure I'll take your criticism in consideration on my next creations! I'll just make like you and do my comment on each MOC: Grivok: well, this one is the oldest of bunch.i've already done better stuff after it, but it still remains one of my favourites, as it was the first of my 'better wave' of MOCing. Its supposed to be quite skinny, as it was inspired by general Grievous, but I'm aware he could be better balanced. Ekaran & Kadin; The pilot, Ekaran, is pretty simple, and uses a recurring build style of mine for Toa-like MOCs, and wasn't much the focus here. But it was my first attempt at a flexible torso on a Toamod. I'll try others. As for the vehicle, Kadin (the name of the mask of flight, btw),I agre abotu the tornax laucher thing... However, if I remove it the front would look quite gappy, and I don't know wich would be the best. Probrably removing it would look better... Lygiros: Gotta say this one is my favourite. It just look right to me, its one of the few MOCs that came even better that I planned. My only problems about it are the shoulders and the speaker, wich didn't come up so good due to my lack of experience with System... Apart from those, I like it all.Btw,a s for the feet, they're supposed to be hoofs, like in a horse or bull... Harai: I agree with pretty much everything about the feet. Indeed, I got lazy doing them, as they wre the last part I built. But it was for a contest, and the deadline was very near, so... Nui-Long: people use to complain abotu its color scheme. To be true, ti would be a bit less colorful, but I ran out of the right pieces, so I imprivised. BUt, chinese dragons are quite colorful, and if you pay attention, there is a color padron, so believe me, there is some logic behind it. Devianox: well, I gotta agree with the joints, but they hold up well... Those limb thing on its waist were a last-minute addition, because the torso kept falling, so it was necessary... Thanks! Famine will be posted as separated, don't worry. Not quite, they're all on my pages, just look them up (on MOCpages, tough, some are not showing yet)
  15. Hi!So, I have this account for some time, but never really used it (must have about 5 posts on the old forum)... Anyway, I tough it would be a good idea to post some of my personal favourite MOCs here as a 'presentation'. Hope you like it! Grivok: Lygiros the Titan: Ekaran & Kadin: Harai: Nui-Long: Devianox: So, these are some of my favourites, hope you like it! Theres my MOCpages and Flickr accounts, if you like to take a look:http://www.flickr.co...johanndakitsch/http://www.mocpages.com/home.php/7968 And that's all, folks!
  16. Well, I used to watch Kamen Rider Black as a kid... But thats about it.
  17. Haven't seen it yet (it'll arive here next week), but I'm willing to. They say its like Rocky, but with robots... Sounds good enough to me.
  18. Love the series (specially the 2nd). One of the most creative and fun games I've played. .. Undoubtly (is it written right?) a modern game classic.
  19. Amazing work. The accuracy and build is fantastic, and really creative. Gotta say it creeps me out a bit, but great nonetheless. Its a pity this couldn't be done with real elements (unless you paint them, but don't)
  20. Very cool. Lovely shape, and good use of pieces. Not sure about the head, tough...
  21. At last. I've never been much active here, but this time I'll try to. Lets see...
