IC - Zac Flash, PWT, UnovaZac shrugged. Had Hiro not been facing a Darmanitan, the speed boost could've been useful; Carracosta are generally bulky and slow. Kongo's speed was lowered, though. Perhaps they were even on that field. But it probably would've love the defense drops. "Hammer Arm again," Zac said. Heh, Justin was right. Fighting is the type that destroys everything.

There's a website for all RNG help; not sure if I can mention it since all of the help you'd get would come from a chat and it could potentially have forums. It's essentially a Fake GTS, though. Remember those Distros from forever ago? It's basically a huge distro will almost any competitive/shiny/perfect Pokemon you could want. Hacks are weeded out and there's a hack-check, so [unless you count RNG as cheating] it's cheat-free.

For those of you who haven't checked the official site recently, Mew won the Power Bracket. The downloads will be available on September 6th.I get a Mew. =P

"Good luck."Zac nodded and waltzed onto his arena, waiting for his opponent to arrive.IC - Eric and Pierce, Uncharted Ocean, HoennAqua was knocked out immediately; Snorunt shielded herself and Melody from serious damage; Dusknoir barely got out of the way unharmed, while Corphish was behind the Milotic. Pierce raised an eyebrow, noting his situation. It'd be a bad idea to burn it.. he thought. Sheer force, then. "Dusknoir, Shadow Punch; Snorunt, Headbutt!"Eric realized what Pierce was getting at, but didn't exactly have the advantage in this battle. "Erm.. Get another Guillo in, Slush! A Milotic appeared on the plateau; Eric cursed."Aqua, smokescreen!"Smoke was brought to the field as the Milotic began charging an attack. Pierce, unsure of what was happening but noticed the glowing ball of energy through the smoke, ordered Snorunt to use Protect.The heavy rain had amounted to a thunderstorm. "Go," Juan said, as Milotic unleashed a very powerful Dragon Pulse.

OOC: Alrighty.//It appears that the patch will not be getting anywhere anytime soon. While very disappointing, I want to continue, so I'll do just that; maybe [if I finish] by the time the sequel/Rocket side is ready, the patch will be too. The only real setback will be the exclusion of Gen 4/5 moves/abilities, and not all Pokemon will be accessible. But I'll continue.Juan/Eric and Pierce IC soon.

OOC: Question Blade, who's Zac Flash facing in the next round?IC - Eric and Pierce, Uncharted Ocean, Hoenn"Heh," Juan said. The Kingdra, becoming faster and faster by the minute, roared, summoning a Twister, aiming at Snowrunt and Melody. The Gorebyss enveloped itself in a veil of water, then used Icy Wind to slow down Slush and Dusknoir. The Politoed used Endure.The air became heavy as a mini twister appeared, running towards Snowrunt and Melody. Snowrunt jumped in front of Melody and used Protect, then Powder Snow, intending to freeze the Kingdra. While it did next to no damage, her intentions came through, freezing the Dragon Pokemon solid. Dusknoir, not caring much for the speed drop, grabbed Slush and threw him behind Gorebyss while he rushed through to chilled wind with a Shadow Punch, grabbing the South Sea Pokemon while Slush used Guillotine, fainting it instantly. Aqua, having almost no advantage over any of her opponents, used Focus Energy and Bubblebeam, shooting at the Politoed. She got a crit, but her opponent endured. It also used Endeavor, hitting Aqua, doing significant damage.

IC - Zac and Justin, PWT, UnovaJustin returned to his seat as Zac Flash finished his sentence. The screen at the top of the building flashed, updating. Both looked up. "There's your answer," Justin said, sitting down. "It was a really fun battle, though; almost won too.""Nice," Zac replied. "Wonder who I'll be up against.."IC - Pierce and Eric, Uncharted Ocean, Hoenn"Protect!" Pierce said, as Snowrunt jumped in front of the Hydro Pump, creating a shield. Black smoke began to appear and engulf the three trainers. Pierce saw another Hydro Pump rush right past him, dangerously close to throwing him off. He didn't hear the third one hit anything. "Will-o-Wisp," Pierce whispered.It's difficult to aim it.. Dusknoir said. But I'll try. He heard something move and shot a ball of fire at it. Quickly, he used Hex, intending to bring it down. However, the rain cast away the Smokescreen, revealing that Dusknoir hit the Gorebyss, whose ability removed the burn instantly. Dusknoir cursed.Eric's and Pierce's Pokemon were working together, without much communication from their trainers. Snowrunt rushed forward, using Headbutt on the Kingdra as Eric's Feebas, Melody, used Tackle on it. The Kingdra shrugged both off and used Dragon Dance, becoming ridiculously fast.Slush moved forward towards the Politoed and used Crunch, flinching it. Juan's Gorebyss shot a Psychic at Slush, but Dusknoir interfered, stopping the attack and sending a Shadow Punch to it.

OOC: It's fine. =) And confusion hax would've gotten me if the Attract didn't. =PIC - Justin, PWT, Unova"Sparks has been with me for a long time," Justin said, smiling. "I'd love a rematch, but I'm not sure how much longer I'll be in Unova; recently regrouped with some friends, don't know their current plans. OOC: Blade: It's perfectly fine. =) On another note, has someone approved the evolution?Parugi: Will do. =) So far, the Alpha includes all 649 Pokemon in the Dex (including formes), all moves and abilities, random wild double battles, the physical/special split, and more stuff not entirely important. However, a lot of new moves with secondary effects do nothing or crash the game, no Pokemon above Raichu have a moveset, and no Pokemon above Tepig have a sprite, so, can't really use it yet.IC - Justin, PWT, Unova"Get something in before that hits!" Justin yelled, hoping a Discharge would spark out, but alas, Attract took effect. Sparks was hit with the Ice Beam and was knocked out, having Skyla as the winner. "Darn," Justin said, recalling his Pokemon.He walked around the arena, moving towards Skyla, extending his arm. "Well, there's a reason you're a Gym Leader," Justin said, laughing. "Good match."

OOC: Almost anything is better than Rest. =P And FEAR would be hard to execute without a Sturdy Pokemon, with no Sash and all. Speaking of which, I haven't really seen anyone use hold items. How would one get them?IC - Justin, PWT, Unova"This is bad," Justin said, as Sparks was hit with the Attract. "Try to get a Thunder in!" Right after he said that, the Hurricane hit, sending Sparks into the air. It successfully confused him. However, when Sparks was at the highest point (from being thrown up by Hurricane), he shot a blind Thunder, hoping the Swanna was near the windstorm; all the electricity was drawn to it.Sparks hit the ground shortly after, landing on his feet.

OOC: I could've used Bite and Quick Attack. To death. =P Also, before I attempt anything, would Roost still remove the Electric weakness? Since Swanna is also part Water..IC - Pierce and Eric, Uncharted Ocean, HoennDusknoir reacted before his trainer, using Will-o-Wisp to burn the Huntail before it could do much damage. "Snowrunt, Double Team!" Pierce said. However, Eric's Corphish Slush silently went up behind his opponent and used Guillotine, fainting it instantly. Juan was unimpressed."Is that move not illegal?" he asked, sending out both a Gorebyss, Kingdra, and Politoed. It began raining as well. "Well, I shall teach you why some things are illegal." As he said this, his Kingdra developed a soft glow. It began rapidly moving about the rock. His Gorebyss began shimmering."Hydro Pump."

OOC: It's just like RSE's Winnona, having EQ on that Altaria. =P At least, I think that's what it was.Also, I completely forgot that Water was super-effective on Archeops, so more luck on me. :PAnother thing, as a note to Parugi: the patch for the ROM hit its third Alpha, so it shouldn't be long before Beta is released and I can actually start working again. ^.^IC - Justin, PWT, UnovaJustin was genuinely surprised at how quickly the Archeops fell, not realizing that it was weak to Water attacks. Clay was too worn out, after both Blizzard and Muddy Water, to do anything else, including dodge the Stone Edge. As the stones made contact, Clay flew into the air, and Justin recalled him before he hit the ground."Interesting match so far," Justin said, smiling. "But now for my trump card. Sparks, you're up!"

IC - Justin, PWT, Unova"I've dealt with more than enough Double Teamers to know how to handle it," Justin said. "If dodging is your game, all I'll have to do is hit with something hard to miss. Muddy Water!"Clay hesitated, as using that attack usually came before something going unexpectedly, terribly wrong, but raised his arms as a whole lot of water seeped through the cracked arena, picking up dirt and coloring itself brown. Despite it's fabled low accuracy rate, the attack became a huge wave, going forwards.Clay's getting tired.. Justin thought. But the thing knows Earthquake, so I can't send Sparks out just yet.OOC: I plan on finally having Sparks evolve. Hopefully in this battle. =PSpecies: ManetricNickname: SparksTrainer: Justin IcewaterAppearance: The usual yellow color is darker, almost orange.Personality: Finally having evolved, Sparks is a major powerhouse in Justin's team, and he knows it. He's much more confident in battle, capable of executing moves on his own if need be. Despite his new perspective on battling, Sparks is still quite playful, and finds a strange amusement in creating static from his mane, then touching people, lightly shocking them.Ability: StaticSpecialty: Excels in Speed.Known Moves: Thunder Fang, Bite, Wild Charge (changed from Spark), Quick Attack, Discharge, Thunder

IC - Justin, PWT, Unova"Protect," Justin said. He didn't expect anything like Earthquake coming from something that looked so frail, but it wasn't something he couldn't take care of. He could use the broken field to his advantage, even. But if she uses Earthquake again.. "Clay! Blizzard!"The Marshtomp had learned the move long before, via TM back in Snowpoint City, giving him plenty of time to perfect it and aim well. He opened his mouth and sent a Blizzard at his opponent.

OOC: It is indeed. =DIC - Justin, PWT, UnovaJustin recalled Sunny and sent Clay back out onto the field. While he was waiting for this battle, Justin searched up common tactics and commonly used Flying Pokemon; lucky for him, Archeops was one of them. If I remember, these things either U-Turn or Acrobatics.. Better take it out now.IC - Pierce and Eric, Uncharted Ocean, Hoenn"So you wouldn't care if, say, two Rocket agents came to recruit you?" "What does vaincre mean?""He wants us to beat him in battle," Pierce replied. "I took some French in high school.""Okay then!" Eric said to Juan, who smiled."Très bon!" Juan said, throwing a Pokeball. A Huntail appeared. "Shell Smash."

IC - Justin, PWT, Unova"Explosion!" Justin called. It was a risky move; they haven't really tested it before, but Justin knew there was no way Sunny was going to survive that attack. Sunny began glowing white, and as the Braviary made contact, he exploded.

Justin recalled him and threw out another ball randomly. It's either Sparks or Sunny. The ball opened, and a Nuzleaf emerged onto the field. Justin sighed. "At least you know how to deal with birds," Justin said, remembering off-screen training he and Sunny did, in order to lessen the Nuzleaf's weaknesses."Extrasensory."OOC: Since I'm not sure if Protect would've blocked out the Whirlwind, I'm assuming it doesn't. I also wasn't sure how to portray Whirldwind/Roar. :I
