    We failed at Nationals.. Actually our robot did amazing, we just got less-than-ideal partners. So in the end we didn't win anything.
    But it was fun.
    Especially the nights. Apples to Apples with 5+ teenagers (including one that's possibly insane) is really amazing. Tom Cruise is now the epic win card for everything. Got some more inside jokes.. But for some reason JJ seemed to be avoiding me.. So I'm sad about that.. And a bit confused..
     
    But heck, it was epic anyways.

    Oh, and for those that care, here's a new dream. Spoiler'd to keep length down.

    » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «Don't remember all that much from this one, except that it was mostly in the classroom where robotics is. I was there for a while, with Angel, her sister, Julia, and Jon (invincible-awesome-Mexican-type). I remember coming home from that by myself, because the others had to work on something. For some reason
    my house was at the top of a big hill, so there were like hundreds of steps to get to the front door, cuz the front walk started at the bottom of the hill.
    So I remember them pulling up in a really old car (like the kind gangsters had a long time ago, long fronts with the extra tire nestled slightly behind and
    above the front wheel). They parked it at the bottom, took like 10 minutes to climb the stairs, and knocked on the door. For some reason somebody started
    videotaping.. So I answered the door, but for some reason the storm door wouldn't open, but the glass was missing, so they just crawled through there one
    at a time. I picked Angel up, spun her around, hugged her, and then we went off and looked at Pon and Zi on the Lappy.. I woke up somewhere in there.

    What if I were to make the city populated by a human-like species, with basic shielding abilities, and another power I'll let the players decide, so they can hold their own for a bit against the monsters. That way it'll add a survive-during-tyranny-and-war aspect, and give room for emotions, which were lacking in the original MW.

    So, here's the cool-sounding movie trailer dialogue for Monster Wars 2, for those of you who aren't Edapurg, Ori, or Mizzy.

    Anyways. Mizzy asked some pretty good questions about it, so I'm just gonna post them here.

    1. Are the monsters sentient?
    Sort of. It depends on the monster. The player-created ones definitely are sentient. The generic drones (like Raptreys) aren't, but they're already with a group.
     
    2. Can we just create any one that we want?
    Yup. No limits at all. Except no god-modding. Even though god-modding is astronomically harder to do here than in other RPGs.. Heh, Orichalcon and Te-Nok-Sa already god-Moderator, but they're the ultimate main warlord characters, they can do what they want.
     
    3. Where does it take place?
    In a big city somewhere. The old one was on an island, but they've left that.
     
    4. Is it in ruins from their battles?
    Idk if it's a human city or a monster city yet.. But not the whole thing. Think of it as Metru Nui. It's gigantically huge enough that no matter how many battles there are, there's always more city.
     
    5. How do players start?
    That's not the way the player-controlled monsters work, tho. They start out as newly-awakened, in whatever form or intelligence they want. In their first post, they tell the adventure where they join either side. Then they're initiated, by the leaders or by their armies, and they fight/work/spy/whatever for that person.

    So, yeah. I know I sound too official, but it'll look good for the RPG judges.
    And for those who don't remember, Te-Nok-Sa can do:
    Ghost phasing, reanimation, teleportation, darkness, sonic, rotting (Jutlin-style), telepathy, mind reading, mental blasts, possession, sucking other being's essences into himself, lava, and giant final smash explosive blinding Ignika-using death blasts, at least. He's probably gained more powers in the time between stories, I'll randomly think up those when needed.
     
    I'll work out starting times and all with Mizzy, and probably see which veterans want to be officials. Ori and Edapurg, you're first on my list.

    J/king. Anyways. Any of you guys feel like playing Brawl or Mario Kart Wii? It gets kinda boring facing random people.. If I knew my friend code I'd post it.
    I found an awesome metal cover of the Mortal Kombat theme, btw.. I'll send it to any of you with IMing.
    And btw, I'm looking for quotes for my quotes block on FB, if you have any good'uns.
     
    And lastly, new dream, for those of you that care.

    This one starts off normally enough.. Just life, except every other day was Sunday, which is cool. We apparently didn't have a car, because we rode home with
    Angel's family every time. For some reason, the only part of the ride I could see out the window was when we were at the top of this HUGE rock formation,
    at the top of a cliff so big you can't see the bottom. It was a place I'd rock-climbed in other dreams, but we still never seemed to logically get down, it
    always felt like we were on a road. Stray Cat Strut - Stray Cats was always playing in the background, too. Anyways, this went on for idk how long until
    one day we went to our house with them (Angel and her sister). The lights wouldn't turn on, but the Wii would.. So we started playing some kind of adventure
    game on the Wii, with dragons and such. Anyways I went downstairs to make popcorn or something, and I get back and lil bro's sitting there, playing by
    himself, and the dragons Angel and her sister were playing as were sitting on the bed, action-figure sized, both a burnt red. I asked him where they went,
    he said they died in the game, and then they died in real life. I remember staring at him in disbelief for a while, then just hugging Angel's game piece,
    crying. I cried for a long time, until I woke up.

    First and before I forget:
    @NEKU: I like both those songs (Breed and SLTS), but my parents are really strict about what I legally listen to, so.. I meant them. I'll look those up, tho, I know a bit from each of them already.

    Ok, so me and Tom were talking last nite about how there hasn't been a dream in a while. Of course, there's no better way to make one happen, then..
    I only remember snatches of this one, but it started in some kind of camp, like a 4-H center. Me and my friend Stephen were camping, and all this weird stuff kept showing up in the trash can in our hut.. Next thing I remember is me and Stephen driving seperate campers, each holding these giant empty cardboard boxes, and we traveled around doing some kind of show with them.. Like a magic show or something, I don't quite remember. The third part is the one I remember most vividly. I was a Wall-e, working on a luxury cruise ship (like over Titanic size). EVE was there, too, she helped, never let her out of my sight. Then one day this killer bat that had stripes like a bee showed up and started breaking things on the ship. (The bat was about human size, a bit smaller.) So me and EVE and my cat Tiffy, who had grown double-sized, went off to fight the bat. Its hair insulated it from mine and EVE's laser blasts, but Tiffy just bit it, and pulled, and its hair came off like in Tom and Jerry cartoons, revealing hairless cartoon skin underneath. Me and EVE blasted it, and the bat ran away. This happened several more times, before I got called to the maintenance room, and they told me I wasn't doing my job, or something like that, and I was going to be dissassembled, so I was sad, and so was EVE, and we were moping around and I woke up.
    -----
    So yeah. I think this is the first recorded one ever without Angel in it, although with me being Wall-E, EVE could've represented her.. I've actually saw an FB bumper sticker that said "You're the EVE to my Wall-E." last night, that may have something to do with it..
    Anyways. Tom's back in business! =D
