Yes. It was the one where it just showed the Mask, with beads of light flashing across it. Still don't recall it. But maybe that's because I didn't really start keeping tabs on the online BIONICLE community until 2005 (and didn't get a significant online presence until 2006). Then I'm afraid you missed out on the most gorgeous teaser for a Bionicle film ever. Except possibly LoMN. Or WoS. Or maybe even tLR. Oh, acronyms, I love you. So what was the music like? MNOLG-ish? Some rock medley? Or the more typical orchestral dramatic movie music like you'd hear in typical dramatic movies? The section they used was choral and very mysterious, then it gets very dramatic and sounds oddly like the music they actually used in the film.

Makuta is giving me grief. I tried making shoulders like The Fallen's, but that failed, and now he's just making me mad.

I'm perfectly happy with 9's rating, it's about time we got an animated film that wasn't all happy and colourful. Half Blood Prince's rating was a bit of a surprise, but then if there's no blood and swearing, there's no reason it should actually get a high rating. I don't know anyone who actually sticks to ratings anyway though, kids see 15 and 18 rated films all the time.

That awesome music from the Mask of Light teaser trailer. Yes. The full track, obviously, not just the 20 seconds or so from the actual teaser. Also, if I abandoned Makuta for the moment and built other MOCs, would you guys all cry, be happy, or not care?

Well, it was rather good. Some of it was awful, as expected, but the general awesomeness more than makes up for it. The Fallen's character was majorly disappointing, but then Jetfire was unexpectedly fantastic. Also, inspiration for bio-mechanical-esque characters? Yay!

What mystifies me is that this DV guy didn't mention the bizarre Metru armour on the abdomen, and how it totally ruins the colour scheme. Clearly it is meant to be yellorange over black...and as far as I recall, this DV used to be really into colour layering and stuff. -Seran

Just to give you some perspective, we are talking very strong joints. For a very large MOC. Very large. Probably the largest I've ever made.

Does anyone have any good techniques for making very sturdy joints, especially at the MOC's hips? I don't really want to use the swivel-click joints (Bahrag, Makuta set, Super Battle Droid set), but I can't find a design that works well and still looks good.

What conference? Also, Windows 7 is lovely, yes, but it looks oddly similar to Mac OS X.

Well, you can hope. The scale drawing I did for it was over two feet tall though, so I wouldn't expect it anytime soon.
