  1. Ugh! I know how that feels! It took about 5 months before we finally got word on who won the Toa Varian contest (which I quite obviously didn't win =P), and I thought it would be faster because the Top 18 (which I did make, yay X3) were announced almost immediately after the contest closed. Still, if not for the fact that I'm so busy in college, I would have gone nuts. But out of this, came some good: I discovered AWIII and made quite a few friends (including you, Shadix!). ^_^

Not to mention, the winning entry is a good read.

  2. Nice! :D

I love the use of both Bionicle and HF parts.

Heh, you made two versions of him. Does kinda reflect how he frequently changes his appearance (though his colorscheme stays fairly constant). :P

    Another thing:

    Yeah, I'm pathetic, right? XP

  3. It's amazing how so few people know about Titan A.E. I was about 6 years old when that came out, but I can still remember a good part of it.

The only motion picture company that has yet to let me down thus far is Pixar. I've watched every single film they ever released, and have yet to miss one.

For 2-D movies, I love the good majority of the old Disney cartoons (I grew up on them, in fact) and love Hayao Miyazaki's works. I have quite few; and for Castle in the Sky and KiKi's Delivery Service, I also have the Taiwanese/Chinese dubs (we had those first, actually...).

@Shad: Princess Mononoke is awesome. I loved it so much, in fact, that I watched it way too many times... :P

Oh yeah, Porco Rosso is also pretty good.

  4. Good collection of games there. SSBB is pretty addicting if you have a bunch of people to play it with. Be warned, however, Twilight Princess gets a Genre Shift once you hit the sand dungeon. Its a great game, but a bit on the dark magic side, which promptly made my parents make me dispose of it.

Uh, I guess your parents are one of those people who have...strong feelings about magic?

Anyways, I think it's an awesome game. I just wish I had more time to play it; Two years after I purchased it, I'm only barely halfway through Zora Temple. I heard that Arbiter's Grounds (the aforementioned sand dungeon" is scary, but pretty fun, though the boss at the end (Stallord) is a bit tough to fight. Also a pretty scary/cool boss. Look here at your own risk...

Actually, after you get past Arbiter's grounds, things are a tad less dark until the end; though you won't have to put up with undead enemies (unless you're playing the optional Cave of Ordeals dungeon).

Anyways, Twilight Princess is the first Zelda game I ever cared enough to play; and it's probably got the best graphics out of all of them. :)

  5. A man who only believes in the physical realm is diagnosed with schizophrenia. But he begins to have hallucinations that are different from the rest. They’re pleading with him to release them from they’re interdemensional bondage, and they’re saying that he has the rare gift to see them. With a doctor who is trying hard to destroy his memories of this hallucination, who can he trust?

That's my elevator pitch. Meaning I could say that in the time it about 60 seconds.

And thanks everyone. I'll know if I get in on the 16th.

    Xidash

Wow, that has got to be one of the coolest and most original ideas ever. o_0

So, is this supposed to be a bit of a psychothriller? Or just plain old sci-fi/fantasy? :)
