I'm definitely in this year, though I'm using this more as something to kick me back into writing fiction. After the kick, maybe I'll aim for the goal next year or so. I'm also on the website, if you want to stalk someone.

I don't mind screeching chalk demons as much, I consider it just annoying. Especially if some kid is doing it on purpose.

I reread pretty much everything, even this comment that I am writing now, but my problem is that I skip over errors too often. I do notice the more obvious errors, but I skip over ones that require the sentence to be looked at a few times before you get the feeling that something is wrong. People have told me to try reading it out loud to myself, or to have another person check it, but I rarely do that.

Despite that, I think you should at least proofread your work. If you're aiming for a professional career in journalism or some sort of writing, then you're going to need it, because the standards are definitely going to get raised.

It's even more sad that I can't swim considering I was born in a city by the sea where everyone else swims whenever they can.

I just tried it out. The prototype shoots out of the Midak launcher better than the released thornax does. It was fun, though.

The spikes are rubber, but whenever I push on one it gives the illusion that it would break really easily.

I remember when I was a wee lass, there was a room with manikins in it aboard that carrier (the command room or whatever), and it was dimly lit, and I was just so so scared of it that it may have given me nightmares.

...Not anymore, though.

Sadly, the prototype fails at being fired from the Thornax launcher, most likely due to lack of the plastic ring that the released Thronax has.
