  1. Does Tahu still wear his Adaptive Armour underneath the Golden Armour despite his devolution, or is only his Toa Tool adaptive now?
  2. I think Takanuva would do well as the new white Toa Mahri, to replace the white Toa who died.
  3. By that logic, where is the baterra set?
  4. I prefer the Mahri Nui Matoran (a.k.a. the Matoran from Lesovikk's homeland) for its versatility. It's the best build to make custom Matoran with, using existing colour schemes.
  5. I was. I was doing both at once.
  6. I'm putting five cents out there that he turns up as a combiner. Combiner or not, I too would love to have a set of Artakha! tbh for some weird reason I'm expecting a combiner too. But then where would his mask come from?
  7. "The hunter is nothing without the hunted." With the campaign to bring back Bionicle just about over, one would think that an addict like me would be all but lost in what do do with my life other than just buying Bionicle sets like anyone else. Actually, my campaign will continue, albeit much quieter. My aim now will be to keep Bionicle back until at least mid-2016, which would see Bionicle back for a year and a half, bridging the gap between its initial ending in 2010 and the end of its 10th anniversary in 2011. In addition, I have other goals I can now fully focus on: (However these may be considered political; I will understand if the admins wish to remove the second half of this entry) While other Bionicle fans turned to My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, I rediscovered my childhood love of trains, and that reshaped my future. I've even gone as far as to design a brand new railway line for my local area. Although said railway line started out as a personal project, I've gone as far as to propose it to the powers that be in hopes of making it a reality, because I realise it can work VERY well! Unfortunately, those same powers that be would rather build roads than railway lines, and I've become one of many people in my state fighting them in order to stop a particularly expensive road and have its money spent on railway lines statewide. In addition, I need a job. I've been job-seeking for a year now, and with a looming jobs crisis (especially in my age group), I am a VERY long way from getting one, and there's also the chance that I may NEVER get a job! I am hoping to use the aforementioned railway line design as a portfolio in order to get a job as a transport planner, and the proposal as a way to sell myself and my natural creative skills. So despite Bionicle coming back, I am still very busy. Its return simply means I now have more time to focus on my other goal(s).
  8. It's easy to tell who the target audience is in this particular entry.
  9. *clears throat* WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! At long last Bionicle can reach that 10-year milestone it was always meant to have!
  10. Perhaps, but the revelation of the Mask Of Creation makes me lead more towards a continuation.

    VICTORY!

On Tuesday the 24th of November 2009, LEGO made the announcement that they would be ending Bionicle in the middle of 2010. Immediately, campaigns and petitions began to bring Bionicle back. On Saturday the 19th of March 2011, two BZPower members, Makuta_of_Oz and PAPER SPEAKERS WAT, got together to form a fan group and campaign dedicated to bringing back Bionicle, and as such the Bring Back Bionicle Club was born. On Thursday the 7th of July 2011, the Bring Back Bionicle Club gained its own website, complete with projects, news, and later on, games. And today, on Friday the 19th of September 2014, we have succeeded in our mission. LEGO has officially announced on Facebook and Twitter, the return of LEGO Bionicle. As the rumours suggested, the "big announcement" promised by LEGO was about Bionicle. It featured a teaser video of the mysterious golden mask featured in a leaked image, spinning atop a pedestal. It was also officially revealed that this mask is the Mask Of Creation, once worn by the legendary Artakha. Although we don't have any new information beyond this, it is highly likely that we may see Artakha in set form wearing the mask very soon. The revelation also points towards the likelihood of Bionicle's story being a continuation of the old story, rather than a total reboot, but this remains unconfirmed. You may be wondering now, where does this leave the Bring Back Bionicle Club now that it has achieved its mission? Well actually, our task is not yet done. In addition to bringing back Bionicle, we aim to keep it back for at least a year and a half. This would bridge the gap between Bionicle's end and the end of what was supposed to be its 10th anniversary. All branches will remain open, and reporting more news as it comes, until at least mid-2016. Now, feel free to discuss and celebrate this victory to your heart's content, and rejoice!
  12. Actually, you can discuss them -- just not on BZP. Also, something I imagined the other day: The Friday Announcement. "We have dropped many hints of the return of Bionicle, from an image on our own website to the name Bionicle in a URL. With most of these himts having been found by clever LEGO fans, we now officially announce the return of Exo-Force." Take a guess which word will not be in the announcement. Just saying, I think Lego is doing some of these things on purpose.... Well, I didn't say Galidor that time. Something like that probably will happen.
  13. Surprised how many people are saying Thunderbirds and Fantastic 4. Are they expected to be coming as well?
  14. Excuse my negativity, but I can't help but wonder if any heads have rolled at LEGO as a result of these leaks, including the mask. Or has LEGO accepted it as normal?
  15. I watched a show on SBS2 (Australian channel) showing exactly what happened in the two hours following the attack. It was painful.
  16. The Nothing part would explain his quote "You cannot destroy me, for I am Nothing."
  17. I think it's in LEGO's best interests to focus on the Dark Hunters if they don't ant to make a whole new villain. The Shadowed One would make a fantastic new main villain, especially with his mysterious name forgotten by the ages (even by Greg Farshtey). Plus the Dark Hunters are so individual that it'd be hard to fall into the trap of clone sets like Bionicle did in 2006-2010. The gold-skinned being could work too, for much the same reasons, but the Skakdi that serve him are clone sets, so they'd want to focus on the gold-skinned being's creations.
  18. tbh I was expecting Bionicle to more likely return in 2016 than 2015. Thrilled to see it's coming back earlier.
  19. The plan is to leave the sig alone until LEGO makes an official announcement.
  20. ...I realise that even if Bionicle does come back, I'll still have a sig. Obviously most of my sig is made up of Bring Back Bionicle propaganda, but there is also that baterra pitch for LEGO Ideas which I can keep after LEGO's announcement. Speaking of said announcement, when is the New York Comic Con? Rumour has it they'll make the announcement AND reveal the sets at that event.
  21. Really? I have faith that if Greg is as involved in the story as he was in the later years, it will become a tangled trainwreck again. I couldn't agree more. Implying he doesn't learn from mistakes... :/
  22. For somebody who has so passionately campaigned for the LEGO Group to bring the theme back I'm kind of surprised you'd be so particular about what form you want the new story to take. What would be wrong with a reboot, honestly? It's the best chance the theme might ever have of regaining its former glory and enthralling a new generation of fans. It's not like a rebooted storyline would be completely foolproof (you'd have to rethink a lot of things up to and including how the big story engine is revealed), but I still can't really fathom why so many people are so vehemently opposed to the idea of a reboot on principle. I do know the saying "Be careful what you wish for because you might get it", but the main focus with the campaign for my part was just to bring the sets back for long enough to cover the difference between its cancellation and the end of its 10th anniversary, ie. a year and a half. Even then, though, I still have personal preferences, but won't complain TOO much if it is a reboot. No matter what happens, though, I have faith that Greg Farshtey will know how to do it right.
  23. Sometimes when I become overwhelmed with emotion, my emotions shut down. Is that how I feel now? Though I WILL admit I jumped out of my skin when I saw the news on Twitter last night just before I went to bed. Still, I'd rather wait for an official announcement from LEGO because my campaign truly declares victory. I just pray it's not a reboot.
  24. ...and watch every Bionicle fansite on the Internet, including my own, go into meltdown. I've gained a keen interest in watching other people's natural reactions to events of all sorts, which I think stemmed from my interest in Teridax. But now I'm watching everyone's excitement over Bionicle returning. BTW, although I know Bionicle's coming back thanks to other anonymous sources, I still await an official announcement from LEGO before I declare my Bring Back Bionicle campaign won.
