  1. I asked Greg my question the other day and got this reply:
  2. For some weird reason, I can no longer access the Bring Back Bionicle website even though I was able to only 5 days ago. As a result, I will not be able to update it with the latest news story until further notice. However, I have been able to update the blog on the deviantArt branch with the same news story, so you may have a look there if you wish to read it.
  3. OK, so what I meant by a reboot was one with absolutely NO ties to the original story. Different universe, different canon, different everything. By "continuation" I meant a new story set in the future with the same canon. Not necessarily the immediate future, but still after the events of the Battle Of Bara Magna.
  4. Ignoring all the evidence we've seen thus far, what kind of story would you prefer should Bionicle come back? Close if dupe. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it was.
  5. Is Tahu able to take off the Golden Armour? If so, would he lose the Makuta powers granted to him if a piece did fall off?
  6. They could've substituted the baterra. The Bohrok were based off them AND they were going to be 2010 sets before they decided to ban the toyline.
  7. Pieces and instructions already exist for that one, since he was fan-created canon from a Toa-building competition, so I won't add him.
  8. With the recent rumours flying around of Bionicle's return next year, I decided I'd take the opportunity to once again make this tally. Once again, I ask members what pre-existing Bionicle characters they would like LEGO to one day make as sets. And once again, I will be watching the thread and keeping a tally. Remember, you can answer with characters that are or aren't on the list so far. No limits. THE TALLY: Hero Agori - 2 Toa Ahkmou (Shadow Toa) - 6 Angonce - 3 Artakha - 11 Baterra - 2 All Burnak - 2 Toa Chiara - 5 Dezalk - 1 Element Lords - 2 Fohrok - 2 All Gafna - 2 The Insane Great Being - 2 The other Toa Hagah - 12 Toa Helryx - 6 Heremus - 2 Jerbraz - 1 Johmak - 1 Turaga Jovan - 2 Kabrua - 2 Karzahni (pre-mutation) - 1 Makuta Kojol - 1 Kotu - 2 Lariska - 4 The rest of Lesovikk's Toa team - 2 Turaga of Lesovikk's homeland - 1 The other Toa Mangai - 3 Marendar - 1 Matoran Universe Robot - 4 Mavrah - 2 Toa Naho - 4 Toa Nidhiki - 1 Toa Nikila - 3 Toa Orde - 5 Phantom - 2 Bota Magna Reptiles - 1 Sisters Of The Skrall - 1 Makuta of Stelt - 1 Tamaru - 4 Tren Krom - 1 Makuta Tridax - 1 Triglax - 2 Toa Tuyet - 3 Toa Varian - 2 Toa Zaria - 5
  9. While most people think Miserix is the only Makuta left, I think there may be others that still exist. Here's my reason for thinking so: Once upon a time, Makuta were biomechanical beings just like any other MU species. I believe this means that Makuta that died prior to the evolution to gas in armour would have been teleported to the Red Star and repaired like any other biomechanical being. For this reason, I believe at least five Makuta may be alive inside the Red Star. The Makuta in question are the five Makuta who sided with Miserix when Teridax overthrew him. Teridax ordered all five of them killed, and their masks hung on the walls of Destral as trophies. Depending on how they were killed, they may have been teleported to the Red Star after death for repairs, and then trapped there after that infamous teleporter malfunction. In addition, some Makuta were known to have died while dispatched on missions. Some of them may have died before the evolution, meaning they too would have been repaired inside the Red Star. However, Kojol and the Makuta killed by Zaria would not be among these Makuta, because they are both proven to have died after evolution. Kojol had his evolved essence incinerated in a Xian furness, while the Makuta killed by Zaria was hunting him because of the evolution, which made their kind vulnerable to Toa of Iron such as Zaria. Are there any details I'm missing? Any feedback to disprove my theory? C&C welcome.
  10. I don't know, but needless to say I'm watching with interest.
  11. I saw the pics. Not entirely convincing, but still worth adding to my website.
  12. No doubt a lot of people have theorised the possibility that Midak could be an Av-Matoran because of his unusual interests. However, I'm beginning to wonder if maybe he could be destined to become a Toa. An unusual personality is always a first sign of such a destiny.
  13. The only way Makuta is going to return is if the Alternate Teridax turned evil.
  14. In my last entry, I updated the issue of thieves attacking LEGO fans by stealing LEGO sets in Australia's east, and I'll admit I got a bit hostile writing it. My negativity ended up polluting the sanctuary (as Nokama would put it), because a fight broke out and the boss had to shut the entry down. I would like to apologise for my rant, and for my short-sightedness. As of late, I have been fighting my own country's Government, and that has resulted in an unusually short fuse. The sad part, though, is that I'm used to seeing fights such that occurred last night amongst Australia's rail community; I just never thought I'd live to see the day it would happen on BZPower. If I had kept my temper under control, it would not have rubbed off on my fellow BZPers, and this fight would never have happened. So I take responsibility for my own actions, and apologise.
  15. Unfortunately for the AK-47, this is in Australia, with extremely strict gun laws. You may not be able to bring one onto our shores.
  16. http://news.ninemsn.com.au/national/2014/06/12/10/22/thieves-robbing-toy-stores-for-lego The thieves reported on in my previous entry remain on the run. They have now robbed 5 stores in NSW and Victoria. It is plain obvious they hate LEGO and its fans with these constant attacks on US, and they MUST be stopped IMMEDIATELY.
  17. By showing off your little collection you are activating my competitive instincts. I own over 200 sets (including a number of multiples), complete collections of Kanohi, Krana, Kanohi Nuva, Krana-Kal and Kanoka, and then some, and I'm still collecting! I'm actually tempted now to photograph my collection and show it off too!
  18. The Mask Of Life saga, when we were introduced to the cultures and characters of the entire Matoran Universe (or close enough to it).
  19. That's what the media thinks will happen. I suggest that ALL members watch out for City and TECHNIC sets being sold in Australia, in case the sellers are these thieves. ALL LEGO sellers are suspects at this stage.
  20. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-06-03/thieves-steal-15000-dollars-in-lego-from-victorian-toy-store/5495608 A toy store in Seymour, a country town north of Melbourne, has been robbed twice by an organised crime gang. Among the stolen property were LEGO TECHNIC and LEGO City sets. The thieves removed the glass panel from the front door to gain entry, and in the first attack, removed the hard drive from the store's CCTV camera, stealing the evidence of their attack.
  21. That can happen if Protocairns are sapient. Are they sapient?
  22. As you know, Protocairns have natural Rhotuka launchers mounted on their shoulders. My question is, what powers do their Rhotuka have? BS01 doesn't say.
  23. an MMO set on Spherus Magna would be nice, if it could be done.
  24. I actually wondered if it was the doing of the OoMN. They sent an agent to watch over the island, but Teridax murdered the agent.
