  1. Well, if that's not confusing...:P

I know, SPIRIT breaks a record with every new post, and Bonesiii...Bonesiii's entries are epic. I won't even read them they're so epic. I'm not gonna live long enough to read Bonesiii's blog, I'll die of old age and still wonder what his point is exactly. :P

  2. Cool! Your mom is a good photographer.

    Thanks

I would say Happy Birfdai, but you said there's no way to get it on time?

    Yup. BZP's offline that day.

You can edit people's comments in your blog?! Can you make this sentence red?

  3. Whoa, it's short! The songs were a big part. I think the Dume's Communism part shoulda been longer, and the pause after Mantax's cut-away longer too. But still.. You shoulda been like, "No, you can't have my video unless it's full length!" Blaze thine own path, and thou shalt become worthy of..whatevereth.

I, of course, prefer the original, so I can't say fairly whether this is good or not. But I congratulate you on getting this far!!

In Soviet Russia, you don't make awesome comedy, awesome comedy makes you!

  4. All right. Maybe this is the end, finally, of the anti-custom fad.

This is the only post, having to do with custom-hating, that's been close to the mark.

You should have fun. Always have fun. If it's fun for you to get praise for complex creations, then do it. Don't be mad at people who don't get joy out of that. 'Cause if it's not fun, they why should they do it?

Innovation is custom. It's the essence of custom. It's imagination. It's creating something your way, because any other way just doesn't accomplish your vision. It's not using pieces in new ways. It's not being complex where you could be simple. That's fine too. I don't look down on people who do that. But you don't have to, and there's nothing that says it's better if you do.

Now, on the other hand, an MOC that's an Inika with different-colored limbs and no head. I am not going to say that that is an appealing creation. I'm not going to compliment the person who built it on their creativity in building. Now, maybe they had a great time building it. That's great. And I won't tell them they need more custom. I will tell them what I like about it, and why I like what I like about it, and from there, they can shape their own style, whether it involves custom or not. Or they can completely ignore my criticism. Because sometimes it's not about pleasing the masses. Who cares what I think, if you're having fun?

People, if you're getting burned for not using custom, ignore it. If you're using custom but getting mad because other people think they're great for doing the same, leave them alone. It's their problem. They're the ones who are spending more time doing "custom" then having fun.

  5. ..exploding mice. Y'know, as wierd as that sounds, it makes me want to see the movie more.

The Chronicles of Riddick! Good movies. Action, and Vin Diesel with dreadlocks. There's..3 of them, I think. The Chronicles of Riddick, Pitch Black, and..another one, I'm sure of it. The Pacifier? :P

My family was/is going to go to the theater and watch Wanted, Wall-E, and Hancock. No more underlining. Takes too long.

    Oh, and..

    FIRST POST. Heh.

I visit blogs a lot. Most of them aren't typed in pink, though. :)

  6. I'm sure this has been done. Yes, I know it has. But it's cool.

    Build a transforming MOC.

With a semi-recognizable vehicle mode. Like, with wheels or wings or treads. Something that could be envisioned as being real somewhere. And transforms into a humanoid.

    OR (can I do two?)

Take a canister set and build something using as many of the pieces as you can. At least half of them. Just the ones included in the set. you could even narrow it down, like, only use Phantoka or something.

    OR

Build a transforming MOC. I really wanna see some!

  7. No, but YO' FACE is funny..you know, that doesn't work online.

I'm going to say that noboy's right, for one of two reasons:

    1) They're watching a movie.

    or

    2) They're all sitting on the left side of th...whatever. It's not funny. I'll come back later when I have something that is. Oh wait, I got it! Yo' fa-- yeah, I gotta go.

  8. Oh Em Gee. That is not custom! Just look at it! Look @ the limbs and the Skwid Lonchers and the feat! 0/10. Neads moar custom.

Actually...custom is good. But not always. I'm all for using those Piraka bodies, good knows we've got enough of 'em. But use them differently. Don't take the head off your Piraka, put on a new one plus weapons, and say it's your MOC. 'Cause in my opinion, it's really not. It's an MOOLSM, which while it sounds really wierd, is My Own Official Lego Set Modification. Now, if you're new at MOCing, then it's ok, but people need to specify why. Maybe the MOC (yes, it is if you're new) has that nice, buff appearance you're looking for and the weapons match the armor and his mask looks good at that height. Say that, not "I liek it!! Grate job!" or "Awesome mask!" LEGO made the mask. You may have chosen to put it there, but the way you do it is custom, not the parts themselves.

And, on a slightly different note, I'm sick of seeing people use other people's custom and then getting praised for customness. 'Cause it's not customness if you DIDN'T COME UP WITH IT.

I'm also kinda getting sick of all the Anti-Custom that's going around. Lots of people hate when other people say "love the customness". That makes sense. But to say "your own usage of parts acquired the shape and stablilty and color that fit very well with the idea of this MOC" is FINE!! There's nothing wrong with that!

And I refuse to become part of another trend or fad. Look around in people's blogs, you'll see what I mean.
