Looks great as always. I think I can now say that my modular street will be long enough for this one to be far enough away from the vent to not be covered in dust after a week. I look foward to it.

I've always liked the Dark Hunters, and I think they would make a great chess team. I know someone above me posted one, but I think I can improve upon it a little.

 

Pawns would be Hordika Dragons

Queen would be Sentrakh

Bishops would be Nidhiki and Krekka

Knights would be Seeker and Primal

Rooks could just be some Dark Hunter styled towers

Just today, in fact. It was a Takanuva stars I had laying around.

I used to, but not so much any more. That is, aside from the obvious vaction to Brickfair.

 

Now I mostly take system stuff with me. It's a lot easier to make room and pack for.

Bionicle wise, the only set to give me any trouble was Kardas. That was mainly because of my inexperience with building at the time.

This is a good tree. It's closer to scale than the offical ones. I like the way the lights are done; it looks a lot nicer than just sticking them on there.

2x2 Jumper Plates, preferably in red, yellow, light grey, light green or light tan. I will take any color, though.

I've never read that book you mentioned, but this guy seems to match up with the picture you posted. It's also very awesome in its own right. However, I think you could do with removing the stickers, as they kind of ruin all your symmetry.

I figured that the "waterwheel" was just an oddly shaped windmill. Also, I feel including Treebeard or someone would have raised the price another $5-10,

and I'm fine with single faction sets anyway.

So I've got half a month? I think I shorten the list of ones I wanted from series 8. Sorry, Red Cheerleader.

Most of them at Brickfair 2012. I may have also seen people at other events that I didn't recognize as BZPower members.

I noticed that they changed the time period from a year to three months. It made my answers a little more negative than I would have liked.

The Green squad looks awesome, as do the robots. I'm glad that this is the Monster Fighters replacement, as that theme was kinda lame.

Er... it looks to be the Alien Conquest replacement, actually, in terms of general theme. The only correlation with Monster Fighters that I see was the comic in the Lego Club Magazine, in which Lord Vampyre's evil plan (which is still laughable) culminated with the summoning of the bug aliens. I see that less as a story tie-in and more as a forced means of getting a preview out.

I think he ment as the replacement in the series of six-month themes we've been having lately.As in: World Racers>Pharaoh's Quest>Alien Conquest>Dino>Monster Fighters>Galaxy Squad.Anyway, I like these. They call me back to Insectoids. I'm mostly inerested in the wasp, though.

I too have very much enjoyed this set. I just wish that the center building had been connected tho the rest in some way.

It is on the top at least, where there's a small bridge linking the top of the outer wall to the top of the inner wall.All in all a decent review, although I spotted a fair number of typos. But the substance of it was pretty flawless.

Unfortunately, the bridge does not attach to the main building due to its angle.

I'd say Lhikan's or the skrall shield. I also liked Kopaka's original shield.

I'm on here to discuss a common intrest, or in the case of CoT, common intrests, with others. After that, the having fun comes in, and hving fun is, well, fun.
