Wow, that sounds incredible. I'm glad you got to experience something like this. This past Wednesday, we had a Masters Commission group from Lafayette, Louisiana, visit our youth group. Those guys were amazing. The skits and things they did were awesome. The pastor who spoke was amazing too. I was hanging out with the guys after they were done and we all just had a blast, really. I was seriously thinking about getting into a Masters Commission whenever I graduate from high school. I'd get to spend 9 months travelling the world and spreading the Good news. How awesome would that be?

  5. Man, I haven't had a good cake in sooo long. This stuff is delicious. Spring break is in two weeks. And it couldn't get here any faster. A few friends and I are definately going to Six Flags that first weekend. It's going to rock hardcore.

So you -are- alive. Good to hear.
  7. I just wasted ten seconds of your life.
  8. Let's see: *New Relient K CD comes out tomorrow. *Don't have to to go "school" tomorrow. We are having a "work day" to raise money for the Jr/Sr Banquet. *A friend and I plan on stopping by Chic-fil-A tomorrow before we have to go to "work". Breakfast burritos FTW. But oh, research papers FOR THE LOSS. I really don't care why some particular author wrote the way he did. Crackdown is one of the coolest games ever. Along with Lost Planet. And also Gears of War.
  9. Hardcore, all the way. Rap can die.
  10. That game launched?! That game was my favorite!! I never beat it, though. I got stuch like on this airship near the end. Those little dudes were so hard. Oh, btw, do you still have the Bleach intro for download? I'd love to put it on my Zune
  11. So if you guys haven't noticed (and I'm sure the majority of you haven't) that I've been rather innactive lately, well, I have. I've mostly been busy with school and work. School is getting to the point where all of the teachers are giving us that one big "paper" that always comes this time of year. Work is work. Usually end up working 5:30 - 9:30 during the school week. If I'm not at work or school, I'm probably hanging out with my friends. Oddly, there have been some pretty awesome movies coming out lately. Movies + friends = killer time. And if I'm not hanging out with my friends, I'm probably stuck at home playing Xbox360. Currently I've been playing a lot of Gears of War, Crackdown, and FEAR. Those games are killer. And the achievements make them so much better. But the highlight of these past few days was Sunday night. Four other friends and I went to Birmingham for a concert. Lemme tell you, that thing friggin' rocked. Underoath was so hardcore. There were three mosh pits going on at any time. Plus, we had the best view in the auditorium. Taking Back Sunday was playing with them too, so that was cool. After the concert, we got a little, erm..."lost" in Birmingham. But that's always the funnest part, trying to find our way back home. Heh, once we got hungry we went to Wendy's, but we couldn't go inside because the lobby was closed. So, instead of everyone ordering at one time and getting confused with cash/change through the drive-thru, we kept driving around and making orders. 'T was fun. Anywho, I've just dropped by to give an update and check the forums for any news. If you've PMd me and I haven't replied, sorry. I'm not ignoring you.

    State

Varisty Boys Basketball team is going to play for the State Championship tomorrow night. They have a very good chance of winning, too. But of course, certain circumstances hinder me from being able to go to the game. Ungh, lemme tell you folks, divorce kills relationships. Fo' reals. And not just between the divorcees. Should get my Xbox back over the weekend. Good thing, because I have off school Monday. Woo.
  13. Paintballing in woods/open are is crazy fun. I haven't ever played on a course, but I'm sure in the woods is better.
  14. They are such lovely things. They really are! *cough* Sarcasm aside, The Scarlet Letter is actually a decent book. It's not all that excited, but it's still a decent story. It'd be way better if the teacher reading it wasn't so monotone. Ungh, I swear, it's like she shows no emotions whatsoever. I have good news, though: I get my Xbox360 back around Thursday or so. I just signed up for the "Old Spice Reward Challenge" where if you raise your gamerscore by 1,500 points, you win prizes depending on the total number of points you have at the end of the challenge. Luckily, I already have enough points (10,00+) to get the Level 3 prize package (Fuzion Frenzy 2, some Microsoft points, a t-shirt, and some other junk). Besides this little challenge, I'm ready to play some more Gears of War online. I think me and a few people are scheduled for a few games *pokes Than*. Pity I won't be at my house the whole weekend... But we have Monday off for Presidents Day! Fa sho' And I swear, I haven't had a Valentine's party since like 2Grade. Why do we have one our Junior year? Oh well, can't complain: no class, and free food. Mm, I just can't stop listening to Emery's "The Secret". God knows how much I love that song.

It's February. When are these sets coming out? Late summer/early fall?

    Lovely

Don't you just love it when you think you're going to have the rest of the weekend off after you're done working on Friday, but then you get called in on Saturday and Sunday to cover someones shift/whatever? Yeah, it's lovely. But hey, I can't complain; more hours = more money. Who wants to be my Valentine? 10th comment gets $5!
  18. I just bought my ticket for the upcoming Underoath/Taking Back Sunday concert in Birmingham. I personally can't wait to go. The last time I tried to see Underoath, they sold out before I was able to buy a ticket. My brother should be coming home tomorrow, too. I visited him today with a few friends. He seems fine, though it's got to be horribly boring in that room. He's got a bunch of tests to make up for missing 4 days of shool, though. :0 I've been terribly bored in general lately. Not just with school or when I'm at home, but I don't seem to have any purpose right now. No, I'm not emo or whatnot. I'm just bored. School is incredibly tedious. Almost feels like a waste of time. I'd much rather spend my time working and getting paid. I'm just ready for a change in things. What exactly that might be, I don't know, but I'm ready for it. It'd be awesome if the weather outside would say above 60 for two days in a row, though.
  19. I haven't heard any reason to why it collapsed. Parents haven't told me anything. He is coming home tomorrow, though. Sad thing is that his basketball team is playing in the Area playoffs this weekend and he'll miss it. Hopefully they can pull it off without him.
  20. Please, can't it stay like this for the rest of the year? It got up to about 65 degree today. Lovely day. Sadly, a cold front is about to come through. << So my brother is spending the week in the hospital. He was having a hard time breathing while stretching before basketball practice, so he was rushed to PriMed. They didn't find anything, so they sent him to the hospital. They found out that 15% of his lungs have collapsed. He's ok now, but it's rather odd that it would happen to him. Chem test was pushed to tomorrow. Teacher got stuck in traffic this morning and he had the tests with him. Thank God. I can study a little bit more, now.
  21. So the midterm ended last week, and teachers are starting to get their grades ready to be turned in to be sent out to all the parents who eagerly await to see how their child is progressing in school. Normally, my parents would just take a quick glance over mind and expect to see all "As", but it's changed this time around. Although, it is partially my fault. I mean, if I had just taken the time to write down a few more notes in Chemistry class, I wouldn't have gotten a 10 on the quiz grade he gave us when he took up those notes I was supposed to be writting. In return, my average quiz grade wouldn't have been so low for this midterm (4.5 weeks), which in return wouldn't have brought my test average down so low. You see, he counts my quiz average (all quiz grades added together divided by the number of quizzes) as a test grade. So, because I got so low of a quiz grade, I in return got a low test grade, which brought the test agerave considerably down. In the end, I currently have a 66 D in Chemistry, but that should be way higher by the end of the Quarter (9 weeks of school). I just gotta ace this test on Boyle's Law, Gay-Lussac's Law, etc. tomorrow and all upcoming quizzes, and do all my homework. I should have a nice check the next time I get paid. I worked last Wednesday, last Friday and Saturday, this past Monday, and I'm working again tomorrow. I should have a total of about 20 hours, give or take a few. I'm looking forward to that, especially since my previous check was not worth much. But anywho, off to study for my tests tomorrow.

    Bleach

...is about the coolest show on television right now. Big swords, wicked fight scenes, and an excellent storyline. Doesn't get much better than that. In other news, Elebits for the Nintendo Wii is actually a pretty fun game. It's strangly addicting and the controls are very smooth. I'd buy it if it were any deeper, but alas, GameFly is just the way to go for this game. And I had to work today. It was pretty slow up until 8:59pm. And we close at 9:00pm, people. When you see the manager walking to the door to lock them, please don't just keep on walking in and say somethign along the lines of "oh, just made it." No, because you see, we -close- at 9. You should be on your way out of the door at 9. Do not stay around and look at the entire store and only end up buying 5 pencils. Do not get mad at me for not being able to find a CD in our computers. Everything shuts down at 9. If you got a problem, go somewhere else. I don't need your $1.36 for those stinkin' pencils. So yeah, work was lovely.

    Mmm, Chinese

So I'm sure any of you who read my blog know that I had off school today. I woke up around 10:45 or so, and got a call from a good friend asking if I wanted to go to his house to play some games. I couldn't refuse, so I brought along my Xbox360 Harddrive, a controler, and a few games. I must say, it felt great to be able to play some games again. I hooked my HardDrive onto his 360 so we were able to play Gears of War on XboxLive. I am now re-addicted to that game, and I can't even play it at my house. Oh, the horror. But around 4 or so, got hungry, so I drove us to a Chinese buffet, and we got To-Go boxes and stuffed them full of General Chao's and sesame chicken, some hot wings, and that awesome rice. Man, was that the best late lunch/early dinner I've had in a while. I haven't eaten since then, so needless to say I'm a little hungry... Anywho, gonna work tomorrow from 12 - 4pm. I don't have anything else to do after that. I hope all you kids enjoyed your day at school!
