Interests
How in the world am I suppose to list my interests? And really, what do you care? I suppose you could care... if you wanted to know more about me. And if that were the case I suppose it would be rude of me to not let you know a little! ^^
Not my life story, but ya' know, just my general interests and such. Well, it's not to much of a trouble. Although I honestly don't know where to start!
Maybe I'll give you the entirety of that little poem up there in my Personal Statement area:
Sweet day, so cool, so calm, so bright,
The bridal of the earth and sky:
The dew shall weep thy fall to-night ;
For thou must die.
Sweet rose, whose hue angrie and brave
Bids the rash gazer wipe his eye,
Thy root is ever in its grave,
And thou must die.
Sweet spring, full of sweet dayes and roses,
A box where sweets compacted lie,
My music shows ye have your closes,
And all must die.
Onely a sweet and vertuous soul,
Like season'd timber, never gives ;
But though the whole world turn to coal,
Then chiefly lives.
--George Herbert
I like it because it reminds me of the mortality of us. We will all succumb to death eventually. We must live our lives well, or we'll just die. If we live good lives, and good can mean many things, we will be content when the inevitable comes. Hope that makes sense. ^^

So, enough with the space filling poetry! On to what you want to know.
I shall begin with my general information, and then proceed in (what I hope to be) a decently clear and organised rambling.
General... information....
This is quite harder then I expected. Not only am I having trouble deciding what qualifies as "general information", but I am also not to willing to share information I consider to be general!
For instance, my location is fairly general in nature, but I do not wish to share it with others.
You see my predicament?
Well enough this! I'm just going to have to get down and do it.
I am Fourteen years of age and I am currently living in a nice house in a city with my family. I am located in the United States.
General enough, right? :D

Wow that got screwed up thanks to the change over. Not going to fix it now... heck, I don't even know what I feel like doing now that the forums are back

This. I personally would love to see the WA return, and have it just be a friendly and helpful community. I actually have little support for the LoA. I am not saying it's a bad group or anything, I just don't support it. --Mayno

Yes. That would be great. By the way, Zar, aren't you flouncing a little? --Mayno

[ Voting Entry ] Bzp T-shirt Project

Only $20? I'd pay thirty bucks for that. I am going to go with 7, followed by 3 and 11, in that order. --Mayno -
Take the cotton from a species of cotton plant that grows only on a remote island of the cost of Australia and weave it on a magic nine-thousand year old loom that was enchanted by a mystic from Mesopotamia. The pattern that shall be weaved was designed by a Dragon known for her Bravery and Artistic skill. Only the Dragon's design is great enough to be weaved into such potent cloth. The shirt produced from it shall then go on to win a contest on a website devoted to a terminated toyline. A worthy purpose. In all seriousness I would totally by that shirt. In an instant. Good work, Brave Dragon. --Mayno

Goodbye, Zar. I barely knew you, but it was good while it lasted. Take it easy, man. --Mayno

Alright! I just wanted to be sure, it is your blog after all and I don't want to mess it up. B) Anyway, the song is titled "Nothing Else Matters." I highly recommend listening to the Symphony & Metallica version of the song. It's really astounding. You could probably find it by searching something like "Metallica - Nothing Else Matters (S&M)." Hope you enjoy it if you do go and check it out. I really love Iron and Wine. Probably one of my favorite artists. My personal favorite album is The Shepard's Dog. You'd probably prefer it because it has quite a lot less acoustic guitar, although he still stays true to his style, so it's quite good. My second favorite would probably have to be Our Endless Numbered Days, but that's got quite a lot of acoustic playing. As for specific songs... I'd say it depends on a lot. His lyrics are so unique and completely open to a ton of interpretation by the listener. It's a matter of personal opinion, but I'd say that musically I really love "House By The Sea" but don't really care to much for my interpretation of the lyrics. The opposite is true with "Resurrection Fern", the lyrics to which I adore because of the meaning I take from them. A good combination of the two would be "White Tooth Man." It has good music and I draw an interesting story from the lyrics. Can't wait to hear more of your thoughts on all this! ^^ --Mayno

Have you tried Lego General Discussion? POSTS COUNT THERE? Also, what did you spend it on? --Mayno

This needs more attention. Well, I am actually quite tempted to recommend a Metallica song despite your statement of no metal. See, when you say that it makes me want to recommend it to you even more. The song itself is got to be the least metal-ly Metallica song I can think of and it has a wonderful message (and awesome music). So, if you will allow me (and take SPIRIT's recomendation to be more open) I will recommend it too you. As for other things... well, have you ever heard of Iron & Wine? --Mayno

Which ones? See the problem with BBC or any creative outlet forum (or the library) is that when I go there, I have to right a meaning full review, which takes time. Which I don't have very much of. Not to mention the fact that most of my posts are well thought out and have a decent length. --Mayno

Not even ties?! I have to agree with you for the most part, though. --Mayno
