      Oh man, it's just awful when that happens. You spend a good chunk of time typing that thing up, and then... Boom. Gone.

       

      And of course, the second version that you write from memory is NEVER as good. :(

      Or when you hit refresh and realize you didn't change the tab beforehand like you meant to. I do that all the time. >_<

      Thanks, it's good to hear that you think that. Of course, the fact that I can write as so many horrible (morality-wise, at least) characters may not be such a great thing... :P

       

      And I'm really liking how this entry is coming along so far. May not be as good as The Observers, but my familiarity with Salamander is definitely making it a bit easier to write.

      Yeah, but only when I'm doing a good job with him. Otherwise, he's just this amoral, power-hungry nutjob who runs around the island looking for anything even remotely entertaining.

       

      So, he fits right in with the rest of the island. XD

       

      Also, the stories will be called Ashes and Embers and (separating the two titles this time :P) Flames/Fires and Infernos. Depending on what I decide to make the second one entail, the first part of the title could go either way. XD

      Yeah. It'll be set between the two other stories of his past I have been meaning to write. I can explain how he got his Kadin in this one, which will give me an almost RPG Salamander to work with in the second story.

      Oh yes, the word limit is beginning to be quite troublesome. My second attempt *almost* went over the limit as well, and that was with me consciously trying to keep it short from the very first word. ^_^

    I have written over 21,000 words while RPing as Salamander during the latest reboot. I figured it would be a lot, but that number still took me by surprise.
