      I'm not going to drop out of high school, but I'm not yet certain if I really want to go to college. Thankfully, it's supposed to be way more enjoyable than high school, so even if I do go it'll be an improvement.

      It's actually more that they don't feel challenged, which turns into apathy and a general disinterest in academics, and eventually they see no point in wasting any more of their time and simply leave.

       

      I may not be a genius (honestly don't know, since I've never taken an IQ test), but I can safely say I'm somewhere between the second and third stage. :P

      I did it for five years, although since it was actually a virtual academy almost all of the work was done on the computer.

       

      That part was AWESOME. However, it's a miracle I didn't get addicted to the internet during that time. :P

      They're still not even that common here. Or very big. My entire school (four years if high school) has about 180 people. That's less than one grade in some public schools around here. :P

      My Spring Break was last week. Summer Break starts at the very end of May, but since I go to a charter school that only has us show up 2-3 days a week it ends up as a ridiculously tiny number of "school days" left. Homework doesn't count, 'cause I do all that at school anyway. XD

      Oh no, just 14 days until summer break. I still have 2 years to go before high school ends, and THEN there is college. I've heard it's far more enjoyable than high school, but I'm still reluctant to get my hopes up... XD

      I have only 14 days of actual school left (since I'm not counting the end of year testing days)...

       

      So, I'm not thaaaaat jealous. :P
