  1. Metus has some...um...odd fears, to say the least. Good one shot. You have inspired me to pursue halloween related comedies. -MT

Indeed he does. Can you believe I made you guys wait for him to say that since last year?! :P Also cool, new pursuer of halloween related comedies. Stalker. -ibrow
  2. This new Pridak scares me, to be perfectly honest. Xplode did not deserve that treatment. Xplode is totally a higher being than Pridak. Until this chapter. Now Pridak is a higher being. Xplode still rocks his socks though. -ibrow

  3. Chapter 4 arrives! Your character post will come soon! As well as the guest star form! Vultraz’s Journey ReturnsDume’s Request, Part 1Chapter 4 – Of Jobs and ScapegoatsiBrow Comedy Productions The Coliseum.... Vultraz sighed as he stepped out of the chute right outside the coliseum, with Zaktan and Bitil behind him.“Remind why we’re here again, boss.” Bitil said, glancing from side to side nervously.“We’re here because Dume mentioned a job for me.” Vultraz replied. “We’re here because my diner, Ta-Metru, and Dine-Metru will all belong to him within the week if I don’t do what he asks. We’re here because Jaller, whom you used as a scapegoat, is missing.” “We’re here... because of Jaller.” Bitil responded, clearly disappointed.“Yes.” Vultraz nodded. “I’m not mad at you; Jaller’s the perfect scapegoat. It’s fun to make him cry. However, if he dies, I need to replace him. And finding someone as fun to make fun of as Jaller would be very hard.”“I gotta agree with that one, boss.” Bitil agreed. Zaktan nudged the two of them silently, nodding towards the entrance to the coliseum, where a Ko-Matoran was walking towards them, smiling.“Oh dear lord....” Vultraz muttered.“It’s Mazeka.” Bitil finished.Zaktan nodded in agreement as he shifted into his cloud form, until only his face could be seen. “Hello once again, Vultraz.” Mazeka smirked as he arrived. “Balta, Gorast, and I will be your escorts today. I hope you don’t mind.”“No... not at all.” Vultraz replied through gritted teeth. “Absolutely not.”“Great!” Mazeka clapped his hands together. “Let’s all go inside.” Inside the Coliseum Meeting Room: Vultraz took a seat at the end of the table; Bitil sat down on his left, while Zaktan decided to hover behind him. The still smirking Mazeka sat on Turaga Dume’s right, putting his feet up onto the table and leaning back. Balta was on Dume’s left; from there Gorast, Toa Hewkii, Toa Hahli, Toa Nuparu, and Tridax sat, leaving the seat on Vultraz’s right empty. To Mazeka’s right, Jaller was sitting chained to the chair gagged; beside Jaller a Le-Matoran was in the same situation. From there Atakus and Sarda sat. “You have... quite the company.” Vultraz spoke to Turaga Dume. The Turaga smiled sadly. “It is unfortunate that the Mazekas must join this conference-”Mazeka scowled.“-but I knew you would not cooperate with me unless there was a threat.” Turaga Dume continued. “Should you accept this job offer, these will be your travel companions.”“And others as well.” Mazeka put in pointedly. “What job offer?” Vultraz questioned. “What job requires you to kidnap one of my employees?”Turaga Dume smiled. “I wish you to go on a voyage for me, to the island of Voya-Nui.”Vultraz glanced at Bitil; the Makuta shrugged. “No.” Vultraz responded. “Brutaka lives there. The entirety of Mount Valmai is his fortress.”“Precisely.” Turaga Dume told him. “And that is what I require.”“His fortress? Why?!”“No, not his fortress.” Turaga Dume shook his head. “His mask.” Vultraz was speechless. Glancing over to see Mazeka calmly inspecting his fingernails told him that he’d be doing the dirty work.“If I don’t go?” he challenged.“You, Bitil, Jaller, Kongu, and Zaktan all die.” Mazeka responded. “And the diner- along with every employee in it- will be destroyed. Dine-Metru and Ta-Metru will belong to Turaga Dume.” “Well, boss?” Bitil whispered. “We gonna do it?”Vultraz remained silent, contemplating the consequences.“Zaktan?” he whispered, turning around. “Could you...?”The Skakdi shook his head. Vultraz cursed under his breath. “Fine. I’ll join your stupid voyage.” He told Dume. “I want two days. I need to decide who’s coming with me.”Turaga Dume smiled kindly, as if they were the best of friends.“I knew I could count on you, Vultraz.” He said, standing. “Mazeka, please release the prisoners.” Mazeka sighed before yanking on Jaller’s chains. The Ta-Matoran spun out of his chair, crashing down onto the table.“Ow.”Kongu was freed next, far more gracefully than Jaller.“Dude, that was not cool!” he complained. “I’m like, one hundred percent ouch right now man. Not cool. Not cool at all.” Mazeka kicked the two of them into the waiting Bitil. Vultraz stood, beckoned to his side, and strode out the door. When they were gone, Mazeka turned to Turaga Dume.“Things go as planned?”“Absolutely.” Turaga Dume nodded. “Gather the rest of you best members. On the third day of the voyage I want you to be in control of the ship.”“And the captain?”“Allow him to choose his side when you strike. I am sure he will make the right choice. And if he doesn’t... that’s why I have selected Atakus to join you.” Turaga Dume replied. Mazeka nodded, signalling to his gang members.“Come on crew. Zone out to Po-Metru. We need to have our own meeting.”Once Mazeka’s gang had left themselves, Turaga Dume spoke to Balta and Atakus.“I wish for you two to remain in contact with me throughout the voyage.” He informed them. “Once you have the mask, use these to summon me.” He handed two purple jewels to them; one to Balta, one to Atakus. The one given to Balta was significantly larger than the other.“Why do we need two?” Atakus asked. “There’s only of one of you.”“Yours will summon me.” Turaga Dume told him. “Balta’s jewel will summon someone far more important and powerful then me. Just as you serve me, I serve him. As should we all.”“What’s his name?” Balta asked curiously.“You will learn it in time.” Turaga Dume replied. “He is the almighty, however. And once, his name was Gamma.” To Be Continued.... How was it? Also, check out the link to information on Gamma in the post above this! You may discover something important! 4. I typed a long review, but my computer lost connection. Basically it was good, but not very scary or Halloween themed overall. The two best parts:

Vezon was gnawing on a support beam

    and

he tripped on a pebble, fell on the bucket, and died.

Overall, good job. My Halloween special was creepier though good job. Course it doesn't really need to be scary. Or does it? But overall good job. Make next year's creepy though.
I don't really do creepy for comedies. Takes away from the, y'know, comedy in my opinion (also I have not read your Halloween special yet, so not dissing that). And that was sort of the point- Zaktan's tale was supposed to be creepy and scary, but he was just messing with everyone.

Pretty much this.I also found it to be quite funny.

WHERE DID MY POST GO??? Oh, thats right! It tripped on a pebble and died. Period. Anyways, this would have been slightly better with more, uhm, screaming.

Again, screaming would mean making it scary in this case. I think. And I didn't want to do scary. Just comedy. Cuz writing pure comedy is a lot of fun. Also again, the point was the build up to Zaktan's Tale, which he lead everyone to believe was long and scary. Except it wasn't.

Ahah, loved it. All that build up for such a heart wrenching tale! Wait, wouldn't a fire in the middle of the diner burn it down? Naaaww MTL

Glad you liked it. I am glad everyone like it, before any of you complain. xD Also of course a fire in the middle of the diner would burn it down. That doesn't mean anything at all though... not at all.... -ibrow
  5. IC: Vertak, Confronting Brother: Vertak's eyes narrowed slightly as he glanced at the card, before speaking again."You'll have to tell me." he replied. "AndI'll relay it later. I'd bring you with me, but... things where I'm going are too chaotic." He paused for a moment before replying. "Perhaps my threats do not intimidate you," he continued, "But you should be wary of Rhindon here. I have a feeling an attack doesn't wound you often." Vertak shrugged. "And I must apologize myself. Lately, anyone who has been able to disguise themselves like you has originally dealt me harm. One I am allied with now, but Dalmia...." Fury rose inside Vertak; he shoved it down with a little difficulty."Let's just say I am willing to ally with you. But sneaking up on me I dislike." he finished. OOC: Might be all for today; I'm not sure. -ibrow

  6. Zaktan’s TaleThe 2nd Annual Vultraz Halloween SpecialiBrow Comedy Productions The Diner: “Alright everybody, gather round, gather round.” Vultraz sighed as the fire blazed in the center of the diner. “You all said you wanted to share ghost stories this year, so here we are.”“Here we are.” Jaller nodded. “So....” Metus trailed off, allowing the awkward silence to continue.Mazeka sighed loudly. Vultraz returned it with a gesture that would’ve kicked him out of four catholic schools simultaneously. “So...” Metus said again, clapping his hands. “Evidently nobody wants to speak, so I shall share my story first!”“Haha, yeah right.” Bitil replied, smacking him silent. “Your spot here is honorary... again.”“What’s that supposed to mean?!” Metus pouted.“It means what you think it means, dolt.” Vultraz responded. “Last year we thought iBrow would have you in a comedy, so you got to appear-”“I was in it for like three sentences!” Metus protested. “You didn’t even let me share my fear!”“-and then this year you’re (once again) supposed to appear in a comedy, so you’ve been invited. Again.” Vultraz finished.“But you’re still not letting me share my greatest fear or a story.” Metus responded sulkily. Mazeka rolled his eyes. “Oh for ALMIGHTY’s sake, just let him tell us that stupid fear already. I am NOT listening to him moan about it for another year.”“Fine then.” Vultraz shrugged. “What’s your fear, Metus?”“My greatest fear is socks.” Metus shuddered. “They’re scary.” Vultraz stared at him in disbelief. Beside Metus, Mazeka was shaking violently, his mask turning a deep shade of purple with rage.“You have got to be kidding me!” Vultraz exclaimed. “That’s it? That’s it?!”“Uh... yeah. That’s why I was so mad.” Metus answered.Mazeka exploded beside Metus and vanished. A couple seconds later he popped back into existence, clutching his head. “Argh....” he moaned, rolling around on the ground. “Never asking ALMIGHTY to answer a prayer again... oh man... ouch... my head....”Ignoring Mazeka, Vultraz turned to Zaktan and smacked him across the face, which was generally a very hard thing to do to a cloud of protodites.“You tell us a story.” He ordered.Zaktan sighed. “Okay. But just to warn you, this is going to be scary.”“Just tell us. It’s better than nothing.” Jaller put in. Zaktan glanced around the circle sitting around the fire; Kopeke was smacking a fire out on his foot unsuccessfully, Bitil was in a contest with Krika to see who could bore the other to death first, Vezon was gnawing on a support beam, and Jaller, Takua, Kongu, Dalu, Tehutti, Ehrye, Mavrah, and several other random Matoran were watching him intently. “Alright.” He decided. “Fine. I’ll tell you. It starts like this....”

One day a young Matoran walked out of his home on Zakaz with a bucket. This bucket had a hole in it, which the Matoran had discovered the hard way that morning when he’d dumped three whole bags of milk in it. Leaving the milk to rot on the floor, the Matoran had immediately left his house. Which is where we are. He was walking down the street. Unfortunately for the Matoran, he tripped on a pebble, fell on the bucket, and died. The end.

Zaktan finished, taking in a short breath. Mazeka snarled and leapt at him, chasing the Skakdi out of the diner. “Well, that stunk.” Vultraz muttered. “Party’s over everybody! Get your eggnog and then leave me and my employees in peace! The End. How was it? -ibrow

  8. IC: Vertak, Confronting Brother: Vertak felt the power from the newly named Rhindon as he replied: "You may always be that sword, but it never hurts to have your own identity as well."He felt the pull of the power, and couldn't help but feel a barely resistable urge to immediately track down the other half and re-unite it. This power... was hard to refuse. Seeing Brother suddenly appear, however, shocked Vertak out of it."Who are you?" he questioned. "Speak wisely... I am becoming less friendly towards those who sneak up on me by the minute. What do you wish to know that makes you stalk me and this sword?" And hurry up about it, too. Vertak thought. I have three appointments to keep. -ibrow

  9. OOC: Okay. I'll do it tomorrow. IC: Vertak, The Tumbler: "This is pretty sweet." Vertak decided, feeling the effects of the Sword. "Alright. We're going out there then... but first, we should give you a name. A proper one. How does... Rhindon sound?"As he waited for the Sword's response, Vertak climbed out of the Tumbler. OOC: Kal, Brother can reveal himself whenever once the Sword has answered Vertak. :PUntil it does though, Vertak will not know Brother is there.

  10. IC: Vertak, In the Tumbler: Djoser interupted before the Sword or Vertak could speak again."It would appear that something or someone is following us." the AI informed Vertak. "It doesn't seem to have any physical body, however." "Great." Vertak muttered. "Stop the Tumbler."Djoser complied. "Well?" Vertak turned to the sword. "What say we go outside and greet our newest guest?" -ibrow

  11. Vertak: Spotting Squishy standing beside him, Vertak nodded and pulled out his dagger."Let's go kick some butt!" he yelled, spotting KO and Nujanii in the distance. "C'mere you!" Using his gravity to make his trip to them easier (and hoping Squishy would follow), Vertak yelled a battlecry at the opposing team. -ibrow

  12. OOC: FIRST OF ALL: I got first dibs on getting my revenge on Dalmia.Second: Bah, so fast! :oThird: Sorry, got shut off right as I was about to edit Parugi. Will leave it I guess. :P IC: Vertak, North District: "Yes... yes, I heard." Vertak replied, shaking himself out of a trance. Speaking into his crest, he replied: "Sure. Be there soon. I guess you've seen what happened, eh? Kinda sucks." He then spoke to Kayzata and Kaelen."Can I meet you guys at the Day Run for the match?" he asked. "This thing with Team Zero is private... I'll let you guys in on everything I can later. As it is though, I have a lot of explaining to do to Zanth and Suya about Jale, the two Swords, Keremutu, and everything." Hoping his companions would understand, he hopped into the Tumbler."Djoser, take us to the Team Zero base as fast as you can." he ordered."We should be there soon." the AI replied. As Djoser auto-drove the Tumbler out of the city, Vertak sat back and relaxed, the Dark Sword of Ybrus floating beside him."You can... rest, I guess." Vertak murmured. "If you have any questions, now's the time to ask." -ibrow

  15. IC: Vertak, North District: Vertak nodded at the new Sword's response."I have an arena match coming soon." he replied. "I could use your help then. And, if you decide to desert us, please let me know BEFORE you stab me."He thought for a moment before continuing."I'm also not going to seem like the strongest in this match." he informed the Sword. "I have an appointment later on this evening I'm worried about... so I'm not going to be risking any major injury." Suddenly his team crest crackled to life; after the message, he glanced at Kayzata and Kaelen (and spoke also to the sword, just in case):"Who's Rodax?" he asked. Speaking into his crest, he responded:"Vertak here. What do you need?" he asked. "I think you might need to make it quick... for the both of us." -ibrow

  16. IC: Vertak, North District Warehouse: Now it was Vertak's turn to be confused. As he waited for the sword to recover and speak, he turned to Kaelen."Bringing the dead to life has happened before?" he questioned. "That... has, unsurprisingly, not been widespread knowledge. If I'm remembering correctly, something like that happened during the final Night Run tournament... you might be right. Do you know anything else?" -ibrow

  17. IC: Vertak, North District Warehouse: Vertak didn't respond to Kaelen at first, instead falling to his knees, shield falling to the ground, slumped in defeat. He stared at the copy, half wondering whether it was indeed just a copy; and if it was hostile. He sighed. "I dunno." he answered, shrugging and approaching the new sword. "Dalmia, that Ring member... he was at the warehouse before us. Watching, trying to find out what the pulses were. I myself have been looking for something like this all day. I've even joined the Ring to go undercover and find out what's happening on this island." Vertak stood, placing his shield on his back once more, and making sure his old sword was still at his waist."I learned earlier about the Keremutu... but not everything. The Ring members I interrogated were of negligible importance. And drunk." Vertak pulled the darker sword out of the ground, speaking now to it:"What is your name? Do you side with us, or the Ring?" he questioned wearily. "And I have a feeling you have answers either way- answers that I need. So regardless of which side you choose, I'd like to ask for cooperation for a few minutes at least." He waited for the sword to respond, thinking about what the first sword and Dalmia had said: That the heart could be stopped; Vertak guessed it had another side (like the sword itself?); The garden meaning birth, and the plague meaning death; and Lyxek attempting to... revive the dead? -ibrow

  18. OOC: I hope not. xD IC: Vertak, North District Warehouse: Nodding a hasty thanks to Kaelen, Vertak shifted his shield and exited the warehouse, making his way to the Tumbler while the Sword of Ybrus floated beside him."Djoser," he spoke into the remote, "Get ready to get away from here. Fast. And I'm going to need a communication link to Kayzata set up for a moment as well.""As you wish." the AI replied. "I am reading energy pulses from you, by the way.""Yeah. We have a passenger coming with us. I'll introduce you two on the way... wherever we're gonna go." Vertak told him, cutting the link. They were halfway to the Tumbler. If they could get there, they might just be able to escape Dalmia.... -ibrow

  19. IC: Vertak, North District Warehouse: With Dalmia distracted with Kayzata, Vertak was already running with the sword of Ybrus in his hands. He halted in front of Kaelen, readying his shield just in case."This sword... is important. I don't know why or how yet, but it is." he explained quickly. "The guy that is- or was- in the shadow bonds is called Dalmia- he's reptilian, and thus you should be able to find him easily when he appears. He's trying to get the sword to Lyxek, leader of the Ring. We're trying to stop him." Vertak turned to face back into the warehouse, readying his shield."Are you going to help us? Because if so, I'm going to need you to distract Dalmia while I escape- Kayzata, the one fighting Dalmia, will help you." OOC: More later, gotta go now. -ibrow
