  1. Ergo, dodging the bullet.
  2. Ah I see. It's still really cool, especially the chest plate. What do you mean by dogding the bullet? You do know about topic revival, don't you? When a topic is inactive for more than twenty days' time, you are not supposed to re-activate it. It's in the rule book. Thank you! Only problem is I don't know how to fill up the waist
  3. 15 notifications in one day?! This has to be legen..wait for it......................dary!

  5. Well, now that DesignByMe is gone, if you intend to keep using LDD it's going to be just virtual from now on :/:tohu:
  6. Thanks! The head was originally designed for a MOC with asymmetrical eyes, supposedly some sort of pirate...space pirate, that is. And btw, the hands are actually quite large-it's the gaps that give you the feeling of their being small. And for the record, it's a good thing that this isn't a revival. Phew! Talk about dodging a bullet!
  7. He's right; the connection seems too flimsy in comparison with the bulk of the MOC. Other than that, he's not half bad! Well done!
  8. This is a definition of epic, a paragon of awesomeness! I honestly cannot bring myself to think there is something wrong with this! This is classic Roa. And by classic Roa I mean huge build, perfect design, epic proportions, awesome aesthetics and flawless color scheme. You probably worked so long and so hard on it that it would cost you just as long to disassemble it fully. On a side note: if you were to bring yourself to think about selling it, how much do you think it would cost? Not that I'm interested to pay any amount of money to take away your marvelous creation!A job very well done, Roa!
  9. Why, thank you! And you know what? I didn't use to know how to build scrap with it! But training pays off. What I like about LDD is the wide array of pieces you can build with, coupled with the unlimited choice of possible piece colors. If only I can order anything I build :/

  12. I hear ya http://www.bzpower.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/sarcastic.gif:tohu:
  13. Thanks dude! The shin armor was placed in such a way that it covered the bare ankles a bit, but I think I like them the way they are.Oh and guess what's still on the shelf?! Thanks. I was thinking of only using the flops on the shin but then I realized that he would look much cooler with more system parts. Thanks guys! With any luck I think this topic will get some more recognition, and hopefully, some posts!
  14. My first MOC in 2012, and possibly my greatest work so far. Front (with angle)BackHolding swordLink to gallery (when public)I got the idea for the backstory as I was writing this topic.Origins:Darkstar is an alias; his real name is Dhallham (pronounced "duh-LAHM"; name meaning "darkness" in Arabic). He is a member of an unknown species, and never discusses his origins with anyone of his colleagues or acquaintances. Darkstar is a mercenary spy who works for the person/organization that offers the most pay-not that he needs any money; he does it to insinuate a sense of self-pride and self-worth to himself. Darkstar does not live anywhere in particular; he has many abodes scattered all around Central, Industrial and Enlightened. Powers:Darkstar possesses a wide array of powers that can be deployed at will; super-sensitive capabilities, super speed, weapon (mostly sword) mastery and elemental power over electricity. He is a skilled warrior with a somehow "belligerent" attitude. He does not turn back on a fight, and never abandons any of the teammates he is (if so very rarely) he is assigned to work with.Personality:Darkstar is a rather solemn, reclusive figure who has a cynical attitude. His care-free demeanor means that nothing motivates him, and also means that he is a recalcitrant character who doesn't submit to anyone's commands, When he is assigned a mission, he executes it in his own way, and doesn't take orders from anyone. This is probably why he has gained much deference and respect from many Enlightened Agents and some rather "unwanted" recognition from the CEO's of the Industrial giants. I am quite happy with how this MOC turned out. The head is completely custom, something rarely used (if ever) on my humanoid MOCs. The torso is custom as well. While I know that some parts (such as the arms) detract quite a lot from the sleek, slender style of the MOC, you must remember that ordering Lego pieces online is virtually impossible where I live, so I only work with what I have. This guy has been visiting me in dreams for three nights until I delved into the process of building him. Not much of an easy task, building out of dreams. The build was heavily inspired by BZPower's member retinence's (not sure if that's how it's spelled) creations, especially Eva Unit 02. I hope you guys like it, and appreciate any comments or criticism you have to offer.
  15. I agree completely with Sumiki, though I really like the custom hilt for the sword. And boy does Rocka's lionhead look good as a hand! Well done, if it weren't for the uneven color scheme.Oh and one more thing: you should probably try to improve your photography a bit, since sometimes even the best of MOCs looks horrible under unsuitable lighting and poor picture quality.
  16. That's cool! I have a question, though. Does acrylic come off after you use it on plastic?
  17. Awesome as heck!!! Is it just me or does the mask look a bit like Firelord's head? His pose is just incredible, and the pic itself looks great! My only suggestion is that you crop some of the black background on the left so that the pic concentrates more on him. Oh and a front pose wouldbe awesome. What would be even more awesome is a MOC of him. Great job!
  18. Thanks! Do you have any suggestions on how I can "fill them up"? Thanks. There is nothing I can do about it, though. I can't find anything that fits into the gaps. Yeah. The head was originally an asymmetrical one with nose cones for eyes on one side and a Bohrok eye on the other. I thought it would look better if I remove the asymmetry and make the eyes as they should be. Thanks! I know nothing about Halo other than the names of some characters and units. Probably because I've never played it, though I'd love to. Glad to know it worked. Thanks!
  19. Thanks! I'm thinking of an alternate head design. If I get any spare time soon I'll give it a shot and post it here.
  20. So I was viewing the building instructions for Dark Panther, and was inspired to build a combiner using only its pieces alongside Storm Lasher's. I was faced with a problem, though; I thought I'd lost so many pieces out of both sets that searching in my Lego box for the necessary parts would take too much time. So I resolved the problem by starting my computer and accessing LDD, hence embarking on an awesome building expedition that lasted two days.First off I was faced with the laborious task of importing every single piece from Lego Extended onto the display as if I was working with those pieces. I then had to specify the quotas and limits so that the MOC would be built out of pieces from both sets only. The agonizing three-hour process went well, and eventually I started building. This is what I came up with.If you download the file, you will find that the build comprises of almost 500 pieces. This was a very exhaustive project that I want you guys to review. Link to the LDD file Here.Comments and Criticism greatly appreciated.
  21. Whoa! Okay. Let me criticize every bit on its own...The torso is by far the best thing about this MOC, I really love it. The way the chain is placed is also cool. The upper arms are awesome too, but the lower arms are a bit too long and, well, weird. They seem a bit gappy. Moreover, the hands are a tad too small for the general look of the MOC. The legs are also fine, and they are bulky enough to go with the overall look. But honestly, I don't really like the sword. I'd expected a much shorter grip because this one actually looks like a spear. So I'll give you the overall opinion of the MOC:Torso: 9.5/10Arms: 7.25/10Legs:8.25/10Weapon: 6.75/10Mean: 7.8/10, mainly because of the weapon and lower arms.Nice job, and thanks!
  22. You're most welcome, and sorry for posting it that late :tohu:
  23. So guess what? I posted the remade version of your PBZP! It's in the forums, anticipating your opinion!

  24. Excellent work, though it looks better with the Meltdown head. And the purple version looks awesome!
