I've been following this for a while, and while I love it, I do have a couple nitpicks about the last two chapters.

While the thing about Piras' mask was nifty, back when they were a toa kaita, the kaita used shielding powers to protect the matoran, and Piras was wearing his new mask when the Kaita came apart.

Second, the part in the latest chapter when Piras... ignited the plasma? Plasma isn't flamable. If anything, it IS fire.

Regardless, I have been very much enjoying this, and can't wait for more!

Vnog was much funner to me. Mnog II was so stupidly hard, and after enough grinding in strength stratagy and accuracy, it becomes a joke. In Vnog I was actually in control, and could actually strategically fight stuff.

Well, at the very least, the new toa look like awesome part packs. And does Gali's creature have TWO stud launchers?

It wasn't half a mask. It just covered half the face. This has become a big misconception. What Merlin Mann meant was that the G2 Vahi will cover the whole face.

Illustration style looks good. Hopefully not a straight rehashing of the animations again.

Remember back in G1 when the Toa had to use their noggins to outsmart the bad guys? Frankly, the Skull Scorpio battle was the most interesting simply because it wasn't a six on one beat down.

I hoping for better voice actors. While whatshisface is a great narrator, as a voice actor, he just doesn't work for me. While i love the animation style, the pacing and awkward voices just make it so much worse.

It looks like an MOC, tbh.

To my knowledge, Megabloks has never dipped its toes into the "buildable figurine" market.

Yeah they have. I have several old megablock spiderman figures with brittler sockets and less system cross compatibility than old bionicle.

Amazon may be a lot more legitimate than the usual back end Russian sites these sort of leaks usually come from, but a leak is still a leak.

I'm kinda curious how Kulta's name came about, as it has only been seen in one catalog bio.

I am so confused. I thought Makuta's goal was to get the masks of power, so why is he directing Kulta to destroy it?

Ooh, here's an idea for a twist. Maybe Makuta created the skull villains to get the masks, but Kulta freed himself from his control and is now working by his own prerogative to destroy the masks so that Makuta can't use them. A bit of a stretch, but it would be interesting. Maybe after something similar happens next year, for the third year Makuta awakens to do things himself.

Fluminox the Pheonix was an utter idiot and caused all of chima's problems.

A powerful beast that lives in the region of ice, the Frost Spider Queen will not hesitate to rip any intruders to shreds with its eight powerful legs and formidable ice powers. Thankfully, it seems to be one of a kind, and rarely wanders outside its chosen territory. Only the most foolish of hunters dare go after this most powerful of prey.

I am curious what happened to it though. After being used to summon the toa, the protectors just put it back in it's vault and do nothing with it. Assuming its on the same level as the mask of creation [spoiler/] which was able to simply give Kulta a huge power boost

Huh. When pohatu mentions makuta, we see him wearing the mask of control. I thought it was lost with the others, but i guess not.

Personally, I'm fine with the simplified names for marketing. I'm just confuzzled as to why we didn't get the Protector's names in supplementary material sooner.

I'd love to see trans-glow in the dark-blue return to constraction. Alas, the old GITD color was retired, but white glow could work too, Heck, I just want GITD constraction parts.
