You are in your dorm, typing up a really long paper due the next day. You are hungry, and it is midnight-ish. You have no food, and places are closed? Well you can go about this two ways: order Dominos OR chinese food. To the Chinese, it is simply food. Everywhere else, it is everything we could ever want with a side of rice. And so much variety. So discuss the awesomeness of chinese food. -Omi

Which is exactly what this entry is not about. But is about "copying". Last year, Brickforge (makes custom Lego), designed and molded a cow for System sets. These were heavily showcased at Brickworld, so some Lego staff is aware. This is their cow. So aware that they even made one themselves. So the next time you complain about how Mega Bloks rips off Lego, I want you to think of this entry and eat your words. With a side of bacon. -Omi

So I saw The Clone Wars today, and I am just gonna be frank here. The movie sucked. I would have rather watched Meet the Spartans, and that movie sucked so badly I walked out on it. But when compared to Clone Wars, well, Meet the Spartans is way better. So yeah, Stars Wars is now officially going down a sucky path, if it hasn't already. -Omi

Taking an hot hour long bath, throwing on some sweats and a baggy sweatshirt, and hopping underneath the covers. Don't you even dare deny it. <3

Why oh why do I dedicate my av, banner, and basically my apparel to his bidding? Simple. It is cuz he is freakin awesome. Think about it.. Cloud is not a regular human. He is injected with alien cells, which make him super-human. He died twice, and was revived. He laid major ownage on a psychopath who wields a long ridiculous sword 3 times. Every chick he runs into has the hots for him. Plus he steals someone's identity and wields a huge ridiculous sword and can use it for a very awesome final attack. Plus he has a motorcycle, and another huge ridiculous sword that breaks off into 6 different swords. And he has awesome shades. And yeah. Cloud is awesome. -Omi

When I was browsing through my old Sparta Bionicle edit, I saw something that sparked my interest. Someone posted the following. That person missed the intention of my edits. When most people go into edit topics, they expect something that took time, effort, and looks good. When they go into mine, what they get... is well... the self proclaimed Greatest Onua Edits Ever. When they go into that topic expecting something amazing, they leave disapointed. Why? Because they're taking it too seriously. I'm not making edits to wow you. I'm not making edits to amaze you. If I was in it for that, trust me when I say that I can think of several other places I could go for that. Why do I make my edits? I make my edits because they make me chuckle. I post them in the hope that they'll make you chuckle as well. If they do, mission acomplished. If they don't, well that's fine too. If they leave you flustered, then you've missed the point. You need to calm down, and not take things so seriously. Honestly, I think we take too many things too seriously nowadays. Take all the music bashing that goes around. We're all like "HURR DUHR I HATE (insert song, artist, or genre here)." We take music far too seriously. We need to slow down and just shut up. Seriously, just calm down and listen to the music and enjoy it. No need to get our panties all up in a bunch just because we don't prefer a certain type of music and someone else does. Another thing we take too seriously, BZP. We treat BZP as if it were serious business. Pro Tip: It's not. We need to yet again calm down, stop the hate, and remind ourselves that we're united in our love for bionicle, past or present. Stop bashing on the staff too. Granted, the staff need to take BZP as serious buisness, but we don't need to make it any more difficult than it is. I honestly don't want to become a staff member. I don't want BZP to become serious business for me. I want BZP to just be a place where I can come, hang out, and talk about my favorite time line. I don't want BZP to become a place where I have to worry about someone what myself just said that broke some rule. I honestly don't. On the note of BZP being serious business, the same applies to Bionicle. It's not serious. Calm down. Enjoy the ride. The next two paragraphs will be on roleplaying. If it doesn't apply to you, skip over it. We also take roleplaying too seriously. It's supposed to be something we're supposed to enjoy, not make serious business. Case in point, the difference between my characters Nezka and Ga. For those not in the know, Nezka was a my character in The Gate, while Ga is currently in Fracture. Nezka was my serious business character. She was motivated by anger and pretty much wanted to stick a knife in everyone's back. Plenty of angst. Nezka took a faction of a faction and turned it into a huge player in the scheme of things. She brokered deals with major factions, and played a major role in the storyline up until the very end end. I LOVE The Cap'n for letting me doing that with her, and I had a ton of fun with her. And then there's Ga, a tiny little matoran that carries around a plushie that she calls Mr. Mauka. She slightly really insane, and acts like a child all the time. She's my "Let's just screw around and have fun" character. I've only played her for a week, and I've had just as much fun if not more than I've ever had with Nezka. Did I have fun with both of them? Yes. Do I enjoy Ga more than Nezka? You better believe it. For those not paying attention to roleplaying stuff, you can start reading again. I'm actually quite surprised at how long I let this get. It originally going to be only about my edits, and it turned out into a huge rant about why do we take things so seriously. If you've read this long, I thank you and hope that you managed to gleam something from my wordy meanderings. Now stop being serious, put on your child hat, and go out there and give someone a hug.

Second week of having the house to myself, still managed to avoid any serious cooking for the most part. But all that is about to change! Oh yes! Next week, I have set myself the challenge of not heating up any pre-cooked food or resorting to microwaveables. That means doing my own cooking! I've never done that before. I've been told how to do a couple of mince-based dishes, I can do pasta, I can do sausages, mashed potato and one of two other things. In theory, I should be ok but...who knows? Cooking has never been my strong point. Still, if I survive, at least I know I'll be ok for Uni if I go self-catered! If I survive.

Yesterday I completely wasted my time by going to Kent University for an Open Day. It's a long way from me, and I had to get up at 4:30am in order to get there. The journey involved two train journeys and a ride on the London Underground to travel between stations in the middle. Once there, a coach was waiting to take people to the University except there were more people than could fit on the coach, so we had to wait half an hour for the next one. In the meantime I had a interesting talk with a student who'd been sent to organise things at the Station. He happened to do Philosophy, so could tell me things about the course (and in the end more than I learnt from the lecturer I spoke to). The organisation for the Open Day was pretty poor. Considering it's something they do every year, you'd at least think they'd understand roughly how many people need to get there, the need for signposts and that having six hour-long talks in a day, only two of which are repeated, is not clever when there's so much more people want to do and find out. The talk on Philosophy was a waste of time for me. It was all about paradoxes and logic which, while interesting, is not the area of Philosophy that interests me and it certainly doesn't tell me anything about the course itself and what I'm likely to be doing if I study there (you know, just minor issues like that). I did get some amusement from hearing people after the talk commenting on how fast he moved and problems with keeping up. I had no trouble at all and thought he laboured some of the points for too long. Heh. I didn't learn much about what it's like to live or study at the University. While I knew where the shops and clubs were, I didn't see what the clubs and bars were like. I did get to see some of the accommodation, which I didn't on my last Open Day trip and was quite surprised by how small it is. Still, that shouldn't be a problem. I doubt I'll be spending masses of time there save to sleep. I'm not sure whether to go for catered or non-catered. I can't cook that well, but surely part of the fun of Uni life is learning skills like that? Catered would be easier, but it all seemed a bit too much like school dinners for me to be overly enthusiastic about the idea. I just hope I don't poison myself if I choose non-catered... The library was massive, though again they seem to expect people to know what part is what without due signposting. I wanted to have a look at the Philosophy section, but couldn't for the life of me work out where it was (except it was on the top floor, meaning I climbed lots of stairs for nothing). It's a very scenic sort of place and has some beautiful locations. It's just a pity the buildings spoil it. The University was built in the 1960s, and British architecture really wasn't at its best in those days. Big, rectangular grey buildings were the norm with little or no distinguishing features to make them seem even the slightest bit appealing. I found it a bit depressing to be honest, and don't think I'd like to wake up to that every day. That is what really put me off, for I really don't think I could live there happily. I could be wrong - I could love it - but I'd rather go for somewhere that gives me a decent impression. The lack of organisation seemed to be building up to a glorious climax as the coaches that were supposed to take us back to the station didn't turn up. Instead I had to rely on a Uni bus (after over half an hour of waiting) which cost me £2. Cheap, yes, but when there's supposed to be free transport available having to spend any money is very unwelcome. Undoubtedly a good University, but I don't think it's for me. If I get into Reading, I know where I'm going.

I am contemplating a dire heresy. One that if told beforehand that I would even dare think of it, I would have called that person a liar. I have considered getting into the Lord of the Rings line by Games Workshop. The pure darkness of this thought fills me with fear. I look at their models, and am filled with a burning desire to purchase them. I look upon their pictures and have a desire to collect them. I look at their boxed sets and have an urge to field them in battle. Here I stand, on the brink of a crime so unthinkable I fear that the inquisition would purge me without a hint of remorse. A burning question fills my mind. What shall I do?

So I currently have 3 tattoos (One, Two, Three, and I already plan on getting the 4th one soon. All my tattoos have one thing in common, they are all canine based (Wolf howling at moon, Cloudy Wolf, and the FOX logo), and since I rather stick with the wolf theme (and mainly tribal), I have picked the best design for my 4th tattoo. What better design than the Lego Wolfpack logo? It is wolf related -and- shows my love for Lego (just like Cloudy Wolf shows my love for Final Fantasy). So yeah. This may go on my right arm. -Omi

So I went for an interview today at the Lego store in Braintree. If I am hired, I would be an instock employee, which is nothing wrong since I do that anyways. Here is the problem: It is a starting pay of $8.00 per hour and it is only part time. Management gets full time. So I would only be working a few days of the week. Now I currently still work at Wal-Mart full time and make $8.80 per hour. However I do not have the option to transfer yet. I want the job at Lego, but I'd be making a HUGE sacrifice if I was hired. So what should I do? Keep the full time, $8.80/hour Wal-Mart job? Or leave it for a part time, $8.00/hour Lego job? -Omi

So at Brickfair, I had 4 minifigs on my badge made by me that are from the Metal Gear Solid series. But since I never published them here, figured might as well, along with other figs I made. Solid Snake (MGS1) Liquid Snake Solid Snake (MGS2) Revolver/Liquid Ocelot (MGS2/MGS4) Old Snake (Still WIP) And even though I hate Halo with a passion, I could help but make a Master Chief minfig. I Hate Halo, But I Like This Fig Apologies for any blurry pictures. I took these quickly, and I can care less if you bicker or not about quality.
