Hello, there again! I appear to be in a small conundrum. May you help me? I have attempted to post an entry to the new building contest. However, the link is broken, and the topic is locked so I cannot fix said link. Upon this thought, I wondered if I was allowed to re-edit the link to the same picture as before, for the editing of links after entry will result in me becoming disqualified. But now I fear that no one shall be able to see the link. So, now I am curious; Am I disqualified from this competition on grounds of giving a broken link? If I had any way to fix said link,would the entry be rejected? Is there any way to post the non-broken link for the entry if that is allowed? Thank you all for your patience, and I apologise for wasting your time with this pointless "problem". I hope you all have a nice day!

The Kid hears somethin' in the rubble. He raises his trusty hammer, ready for whatever will come. Almost ready, that is. Before he can react, it's right on top of him, knocking him to the ground. Ah, it's just a little Squirt. Bastion is my favorite game. It has a great story, great music, and just an amazing aesthetic. Really, if you have no idea what I'm talking about, you should look it up. So, I took this contest as a chance to show my love for the game and made what has to be the most adorable enemy in all of gamedom: the Squirt. He may look cute now, but just wait until he gets older. ^ Entry Pic ^ After I got that entry picture, my pieces finally arrived to build a better base, so the rest of the pictures have that base. I did stay within the 75% Technic/Bionicle/Hero Factory limit (though it is like 80%), and it looks a lot better. Front Side Back I'm so glad I got that Podracer set from a few years ago for the transparent Technic liftarms. Skeleton Though I don't usually build sculpture MOCs, I'm really proud of how solid this guy is. He's relatively simple, but very compact and sturdy. The best feature is, with all the feet and treads on the head, I could very easily pop a few pieces open, mess around inside to add a few connections, then pop it all back together. It really helped make everything go faster. And reference image (not the actual one I used, but you get the idea) Flickr Set Also has some shots of the base. If you're into that sort of thing. And I'm finally using my Flickr account! So, yeah. Enjoy his adorableness. He'll be sitting on my desk for the next few weeks so I can stroke him fondly when I'm alone. And if you really liked him, give him a vote! I would really appreciate it.

GD Contest 2.22: Tohu Is (Not) Pleased Contrary to popular belief, our site's figurehead and supreme overlord has been long suffering from a sort of ennui. Why is Tohu's mood so gray? Look how boring that profile is. Might as well be some generic IPB Admin. This is where you come in. The Goal: Your job is to come up with an avatar and a signature for Hapori Tohu - text, images, banners, anything. The only restrictions are those imposed by BZPower's Signature & Avatar Guidelines. For a summary, see below. The When: The entry period will last from Friday, March 7th, until the 28th of the month. That should give you a good three weeks to enter. Voting will be held through polls. Voting schedule to be determined! The Why: Because your signature and avatar will become a part of Tohu's identity, of course. Additional polybag prizes will be provided by Black Six: 1391 Jala 40084 Accessory Pack 30300 The Batman Tumbler 30302 Spider-Man 1st place can pick two out of the four. 2nd place can pick one out of the remaining two. 3rd place gets the final one. I've run contests before, but since I want to spread my outreach for this contest, I have decided to post this one here. So, without further ado, let me introduce the... This new contest is being run in conjunction with a current animation project, titled Project U! So, what is this contest, you may ask? Well, read on to find out! Official Rules 1. You will create a new and original character and cast them into one of the four Nexus Force factions: Sentinels, Assembly, Venture League, or Paradox.2. While the character is restricted to one of the four factions, they are not restricted to the classes of each faction (ex. A Sentinel character doesn't have to be a knight, samurai, or space marine).3. You will submit a five-point turnaround of one and only one character (unless it is important for the character to have a maximum of one companion). In addition to this, you will also submit details that tell the character’s name, age, personality traits, and any other important information. 4. When submitting a character design, there is no restriction on the medium used. You may use actual LEGO pieces, LDraw, LEGO Digital Designer, pencil and paper, pen and ink, paint, digital paint, vector drawing, 3D Max, Autodesk Maya, etc.5. You will not be restricted to actual LEGO pieces (as the characters in LEGO Universe were not). However, if you want to be more inventive, it is recommended that these pieces are modeled after or inspired by pieces that can be bought from gray market vendors (Brickarms, BrickForge, etc.).6. Mustache Maniacs Film Co. staff members cannot participate in this contest. 7. All entries MUST be accepted by June 30, 2014. 8. To submit your entry for this contest, Make a reply in the thread for the contest that contains a character description and all of the required images, then make the post live. To verify your submission, send a link to your post via the “Contact Us” page on the official Mustache Maniacs Film Co. website. For round 3 of the Self Moc-off Tournament 2014, Smooth Jazz Vs. Chro. The theme for the round was to build your opponent's self-moc in the theme of Greek/Roman/Norse. The android Skakdi who wants to annihilate Zakaz was created long ago by Spiriah, tampering with an old discarded Artahkan robot, to wipe away all traces of his own mistake. Piticar's unfailing iron rage is his greatest weapon, though he also possesses impact vision, adaptability and kinetic absorption powers, limited invulnerability, and gravity manipulation abilities. Not my usual format - only one photo - but hopefully it can display the MOC effectively. Apparently it did, because it won the January flickr contest. Thanks to everyone who voted for Piticar. Feedback is appreciated.

Aaaaah it's the LEGO MOVIE (comedy contest results)! After a slightly longer-than-expected period of voting, we have a winner for our Caveat Scriptor contest! Congratulations to Peabody Sam, whose winning entry went head-to-head and came out on top! Please PM Black Six for more information about claiming your prize. That said, I'd be remiss not to specially recognize Lyichir as well, whose entry tied Peabody's in the first round, forcing a tiebreaker which was just as neck-and-neck. While there's only one winner in this contest, you went the distance and then some. And finally, one last thank-you to both our other entrants and everyone who took the time to vote! We'll see you all around BZP and at our next contest, whenever that may be. (...Wait, you mean The Lego Movie still doesn't come out for another two weeks? Bionicle RPG Forum Text-Based RPG Contest 30 After a slight hiatus, the Bionicle RPG contest has returned! After taking some feedback into consideration, we've made some tweaks to the rules. The big change is that there will be three contests per year now instead of four. Look for the other changes in bold text below. Aside from that, there's no theme for this contest, to submit anything you'd like! Here's how these contests work: The contest will be run every four (4) months, or three (3) times a year.All members are welcome to enter the contest.Each member can only enter one (1) Text-based RPG entry.The only exception to this is that BZPRPG and RPG Contest staff will not be permitted to make entries.There will be three winners selected in every contest.The winners will be the three RPGs with the most votes after one or more rounds of voting (depending on the number of entries).Whether or not a given RPG wins or not, it will be allowed to run in future contests, with the below conditions and restrictions.For and RPG that lost a contest, the creator must make an attempt to alter and improve their entry before entering it in the next contest.If an RPG has won four (4) consecutive contests that it has entered, it can not enter the next four contests. It does not, however, have to be altered before being entered again after its break, although the creator can do so if they desire to.Example: A RPG wins two contests in a row. It is not entered in the next contest. It is entered and wins the fourth and fifth contests. At this point it cannot be entered into the next four contests.Other restrictions as a result of other rules or administrative action may prevent a member from submitting an RPG.At the end of the four-month interval between contests, if an active RPG does not win again, it will be closed.If a former winner wins again at a later date, the creator of the RPG can choose to continue in the old topic where they left off or start over again in a new topic.If the creator or members of a winning RPG break the RPG forum rules, that RPG will be closed.The next runner-up from the previous contest will be allowed to run for the remainder of the term.The offending RPG will not be allowed to participate in the next contest.If a winning RPG has no new posts for three weeks, that RPG will be closed.The next runner-up from the previous contest will be allowed to run for the remainder of the term.TBRPG Entries The following is what determines a Text-Based RPG entry. The creator of each entry must provide at least: A brief introduction to the RPG.A description of the setting - the time and place the events occur.A history of what has happened leading up to the current situation.The characters and creatures involved. Does this take place in the canonical Bionicle Universe, or is this your own island with its own heroes and villains?A description on how you plan to further to story.Does it follow the actual Bionicle story or take place in a setting of your own creation?Is there an outline on where you plan for it go?Will the players be allowed to choose the direction the story takes?Is there an ultimate goal or quest, or is it merely a world for members to inhabit?Requirements for those wishing to participate in your RPG.Will members be taking the role of existing characters or characters you have created?Can they make their own characters? If so, what sort of restrictions will be placed on them?What sort of equipment, masks, stats, etc will members get when they begin?Rules determining how players will interact with the environment and other characters.How will the winner of battles be determined?How will members buy and upgrade their equipment?Will members level up? How will they gain experience?The above information can be submitted however the creator prefers. It does not have to be delineated in this way, as long as it is all there. Contest Procedures Here is the format the contest will operate under: Members will have approximately three weeks to draft and submit entries.Entries will be posted in the Contest Submission thread. Any entries posted elsewhere or PMed will be disregarded.At the end of this period, no further entries will be accepted.The entries will be grouped into as few polls as possible for the initial round of voting.Each round of voting will last for two to three days (48-72 hours).The format of subsequent rounds of voting will be determined depending on the number of entries.The three entries with the most votes in the final round of voting will be declared the winners.Any questions can be posted in the Contest Rules Thread or PMed to Contest Host Black Six. NOTE - All current TBRPGs must be submitted as entries if they wish to continue running. Entries can be SUBMITTED from now until 11:59 PM EST on Wednesday, January 22nd. You can review other entries and discuss the reviews in the Review Topic.

Now, create a scene anywhere in the movie. Fiddle with it; work it out. What are the characters saying? What is going on around them; what is the scene? Yo this is like your chance to be Sophocles or Shakespeare or something: Act X scene y. That is what you're going to be writing. Greetings and welcome humanoids, bipeds, quadrupeds, reptilians overlords, gas-based psychomagic lifeforms, and all other intelligent and pseudointelligent life in all relevant dimensions! The LEGO Alien HuntersTM need your help! As you know, this wildly successful line from the LEGO company features the adventures of a team of warriors with only one mission: defeating the alien menace! The team is a group of highly trained space fighters with specialized weapons and skills. Unfortunately defeating the alien menace isn't so easy without a little backup, and that's where you come in! The Alien HuntersTM need vehicles. They need a home base. They need weapons. And you're going to give them to them. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is this: Design a set that could realistically be released by LEGO for the Alien HuntersTM line. This could include vehicles, playsets, weapons, or whatever you can come up with. Maybe they need a dropship to land them in enemy territory? An all-terrain vehicle to traverse the alien worlds they travel to? A cannon to blast those ugly bug eyed meanies to kingdom come? Or just a simple hover bike to hop over to their favorite interplanetary lounge after a hard day's alien killfest? You tell me. The winning designs will be picked by a team of judges Me, Darth Vader, and Tufi Piyufi. The top three will each win a Galaxy Squad set and a cameo in the comic BZPStuck. In addition, the winning designs will be used in an upcoming project. Thematic considerations: Although you're welcome to include conflict in your designs, designing elements or vehicles for the alien menace will be considered TREASON and won't be considered in the judging process. (It's not going to disqualify you though don't worry, we just won't consider the alien components). Custom elements or decals are in fact, accepted. They are not required. This is just to allow you to really create the sense of a new theme line. Minifigs are not required. There are no piece limits or build restrictions, but the intention is to create something that could reasonably be released as a set. I logged onto BZP this morning and noticed a little text entry field and the words "Tentacles! How many would you like?" at the bottom of the main forum page. I entered "3" and 3 yellow tentacles started wriggling and reaching up from the bottom of the page. They follow me through the site. Is this some sort of new gimmick to attract members? 2. So when I was editing my profile, I found a field marked "Years I have been a BIONICLE fan:," for which I entered "11." However, when I clicked "Save Changes," an error message popped up saying "Try again, nerd!" with the "Years I have been a BIONICLE fan:" field, where I entered "11" again. But the same error message popped up again! I'm really confused and a little insulted.

Hey y'all! Haven't posted here in eons. *Dusts off computer* Anyways, here's a topic with my entries to the Save the Alien Hunters Space-themed Contest. I have a total of two entries, and they're both LDD-made. I've recently been practicing with LDD, and I think it does show on these MOC's. I've managed to develop somewhat of a style, with weird construction angles' being its defining point. Along with the entry pics is a small descriptive paragraph of each MOC. Kinda like the descriptions you get with most LEGOTM sets nowadays. So, some random guy just sent me a selfie of his/herself, via PM. I couldn't tell their gender, because they were wearing a suit of bomb-disposal armor. I'll try to post a comment in the blogs and it chuckles at me. It has a little mouth and it makes chuckling sounds. Kinda like a muffled hmp-hmp-hmp. Real deep. Kinda like Morgan Freeman. But less voice-dripping-in-honey and more condescending-laugh-of-a-potentially-victorious-Batman-villian. But when I start typing, it starts criticizing what I write in the voice of Jim Carrey as The Mask. It makes me really insecure. It says stuff like "You're gonna post thaaaaat? Well, if you wanna, then go right ahead, Mister!" It also sings me to sleep with salsa music, but I assume that's a standard perk of being OBZPC. Is there any way to stop it? 2. So I just became an OBZPC. Unfortunately, not everybody on this website is bowing before me and obeying my every whim. How can I fix this? 3. When I first logged in as an OBZPC I was excited to finally see a Copper Komau next to my proto bar. However, instead of the Komau, there was an Infected Hau, and all the posts read "I am nothing."Hapori's gone too, replaced with the same Hau. Is this... normal? 4. After hacking BZPower to increase my proto, I got a legitimate proto boost for reporting a news story and was notified that I became an OBZPC.
