  1. Meet Shellshock, destroyer of hopes and dreams.http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7133/7840721842_b4d886af27_z.jpgContinuing Lego's little tradition of yellow cyclops with too many weapons. This moc started out as a joke, trying to make some obscure backpack arsenal with too many weapon that you could put on any hero, and soon turned into an actual project. Really liked how this guy turned out, he's obviously ninjago inspired. Come to think of it a Hero Factory ninja line would be pretty cool.http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8287/7840732950_3f106f26dc_z.jpghttp://farm9.staticflickr.com/8433/7871786776_65a49e0370_z.jpghttp://farm9.staticflickr.com/8285/7871787204_03dbcfda6f_z.jpgAlthough this weapon arsenal can fit on any hero that has a foot covering their back (like Bulk, Rocka etc.) the weight makes it hard for them to stand up, hence why Shellshock has extra leg support made to counter this:http://www.majhost.com/gallery/exxx/yeahlego/HeroFactory/Shellshock/shellshock_002.jpegAaaaand Typhoon, the swordsman with his skystalker.http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8432/7871812662_93174f43e7_z.jpg"How am I gonna stop some big mean motherhubbard from tearin' me a structurally superfluous new behind? The answer? Use a gun.And if that don' workUse MORE gun."-The EngineerWhat is better then a arsenal featurering two double-barrel machine guns? A arsenal featurering two double-barrel machine guns with laser-targeting that flies. Similar to Shellshocks arsenal it can easily be fitted on any hero with a feet used as armor on they're back. I had a lot of blue lying around, and I really wanted to use Breez 2.0 headgear cause it just looks so cool.http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8439/7866042186_59162c82cb_z.jpghttp://farm9.staticflickr.com/8306/7867598594_4c09301909_z.jpghttp://farm9.staticflickr.com/8308/7871788218_aa25ea7fce_z.jpghttp://farm9.staticflickr.com/8447/7871788538_50a1524632_z.jpg"Safety first!"http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8427/7867597788_9db2b6db52_z.jpgThat's all I have for now, thanks for checking by!This is also my first post in the resurrected forum!Do not post images larger than 100 kB in BBC. -B6
  2. So I was posting in "Hero Factory or Zero Factory" over in Lego Discussion, where I mentioned that I felt Breakout parts 1 and 2 were my favorite HF episodes, due to the pacing in OoF, corny puns in SP, and plot holes and flat characters in RotR. I was honestly surprised when not one but two posters said they felt Breakout was the worst of the HF television specials, so I decided to make this topic. What's your favorite Hero Factory episode/special/series out of Rise of the Rookies, Ordeal of Fire, Savage Planet, and Breakout? Mine is Breakout, because it had more developed characterization and plot lines than RotR, and dodn't have the pacing issues or horrid jokes as the later two. My least favorite would have to be RotR because of how flat all the characters other than Stormer and Furno were and the weird plot stuff going on with Von Nebula.
  3. This is a lime-green and black Hero Factory MOC I made this morning. It's like a half-insect, half-robot thingy. Again, I went for a unique body (not sure how well you can see it in the photos), but I went for a realistic body form. Flickr setPoseFrontSideBackComments and criticism? Questions? Anything?
  4. Here he is. Hero Factory's fattest hero. He is known to crush villains without arresting them. Flickr GalleryFrontSideBackComments and criticisms?
  5. This is probably my favorite mid-sized Hero Factory MOC I've made. He's a villain of course, I haven't really made a story behind him. Name courtesy of Gatanui. Flickr GalleryFrontSideBackPoseAwesome custom body build which looks totally awesomeSo, yeah. Comments and criticisms?
  6. When Hero Factory was announced, every hardcore BIONICLE fanboy threw up in their mouths a little. Gaudily colored heroes pre ordered from a factory to fight the villain of the week? No thank you! What happened to the dark, multidimensional, epic sagas of days gone by? The suspense and intrigue? All we have now are flat, boring characters, dialogue that sounds like it comes from a script, and a Power Ramgers style storyline with little to no improvement on the actual sets. And then Ordeal of Fire happened. Not only do we have a vastly superior building system to BIONICLE in every way shape or for, that is still 120% compatible with BIONICLE, System, and Technic pieces alike, but the story started taking steps in the right direction, too. And now we've built up from Power Rangers to the two words any BIONICLE fan has been fangirl shrieking about: Core Hunter. Let's start at the beginning, shall we?Rise of The Rookies: While series 1 was very childish, it built a very strong foundation for what was to come. It also introduced the light hearted, action packed, and humor oriented episodic style that now defines the HF story. But beyond that, it introduced Dunkan Bulk and his Rapid Fire Metal Sphere Shooter. Why is this significant, you may ask? Does a projectile that fires densely packed metal spheres at high velocity in rapid succession sound familiar to you? Did BIONICLE have frigging machine guns? The answers to those questions should be yes and no, respectively.Ordeal of Fire: Here's where it gets good. We have a gang of druggies who are heavily armed and hopped up on Hero Pod Fuel that brutally smashes Alpha 1, as well as a blood reference ("Ugh, now I have Hero oil on my hands. Nitroblast, get me a washcloth."). Did BIONICLE have their characters leak oil when injured? I didn't think so. And any police officer can tell you that if a gangster is on spthe right stuff, they can get scary, especially if their toting giant freaking uranium tipped drills. But the real gem in this saga is when Mark Surge, dip urging our climactic battle, takes a mother beeping cargo ship and flies it at full speed into a dude's face, smashing him so frigging hard he's entire body is ripped from its limb, leaving a mangled and sparking hand still firmly plugged into the wall. Hero Factory isn't dark enough my left foot. But wait, it gets better.Savage Planet: Here, we have a bat guano insane professor dressed in a skeleton suit run around with someone's skull, driving spikes of energy crystal into the backs of random sentient animals, forcing them to do his bidding while they're still fully conscious of what their doing (see: Raw Jaw). Mind ####, much? And then in the first minute of the show we have a plucky young hero voiced by Spongebob Squarepants of all people get brutally mauled by wolves right on camera in a relatively graphic display. Yep. Real light, guys. Finally,Breakout: Whoo boy, this ones a doozy. We have a homicidal psychopath create a black hole in the middle of the Hero Factory, releasing swarms of criminal scum across the universe to wreak untold havoc while the psychopath himself locks down the galaxy's greatest beacon of justice, stealing their top secret files, and then tries to blow the whole place up while it's still full of civilians. Then we have a schizophrenic murderer try to slam a giant space rock into a space station (also full of civilians), who ends up being impaled by a lightning sword and short circuiting (read: having every one of your blood vessels supercharged with hundreds or possibly even thousands of volts while you're made of METAL, one of the best conductors of electricity out there.) Next up we have a dude who shoots corrosive acid at you attempt to unleash swarms of angry poisonous minions on the world, whose favorite tactic as stated by his online bio is to create a small incision with a laser and pump you full of acid so you melt from the inside out. Then we have Jawblade, a massive shark who not only takes a bite out of Furno and mauls him Fangz style but who also uses Oxidium to rust robots. Imagine having your whole body slowly age and crust over before your eyes until you can't move without causing yourself extreme, excruciating pain. It's like aging and getting arthritis but ten times worse and it happens in undera minute. Voltix pumps Stringer full of lightning ala Surge and Splitface, but instead of impaling and short circuiting him he overloads his Hero Core, so that's basically like having a defibrillator hooked up to a nuclear power plant used on you when your heart is working just fine. The books give us the Doom Box, aka the claustrophobic's worst nightmare, a box that expands to encompass an entire galaxy, then crushes everything inside it slowly and brutally and did I mention it can't be turned off? And finally, Core Hunter. A serial killer that doesn't just kill you, but takes a giant pincer and rips your very heart and soul out of your body and wears it as a trophy.Good luck sleeping at night, kiddos.
  7. All right, hey everyone, I'm here again with another story most of you might not read, but I don't care, I feel like writing something new so that's what I'm going to do. And darn it, why can't I stop rhyming?!Anyways, this is based off an idea I had about having someone be a bad comedian, and it was originally going to be someone like Makuta Teridax. I could possibly still do that idea, but I'm not sure if anyone would like it. So instead, I took a character from the Hero Factory line, Von Nebula, who was my next choice anyway. With that said, if any of you find these jokes to be not funny. Well... that's the point. This whole story is a joke within itself. I've just inception'd a massive joke within many other jokes.*A crowd is gathered around a stage, which has a backdrop of Von Nebula and a lone microphone stand. The lights turn on and center themselves at the microphone stand.*Mak Megahertz, via loud speaker: Welcome everyone to the second annual Makuhero City comedy jam. Now on for our first comedian and act for tonight. You know him as a ruthless villain and criminal mastermind, Von Nebula. Von Nebula, everyone.*Von Nebula rises from a trap door located in the center of the stage. He walks up to the microphone stand and takes it for himself.*Von Nebula: Hey, folks, glad to see you're all doing fine tonight. Also glad none of you have been attacked by any criminals that broke out. Huh, am I right?*silence.*Von Nebula: Yeah, because… there was a break out and… there's the Core Hunter guy out there. *Random guy in the audience coughs.*Von Nebula: Uh, right. So you know, I actually started out here at the Hero Factory. I used to work with Thresher and Stormer in those days. Stormer never liked me all that much. He always gave me the cold shoulder when I tried to talk to him. Huh, am I right?*Silence.*Von Nebula: Yeah, since he… shoots ice… I heard one time he turned someone into a block of ice after he told them to freeze. And speaking of that, ever notice that gun he carried before? He had the gun, the ice pick, the buzz saw, and all this other stuff going on. I mean, what didn't he have on that thing, right?*More Silence.*Von Nebula: But, yeah, he doesn't have that thing anymore. You know it's funny how he and his team needed to get upgraded to fight those fire guys, yet they didn't when they fought me. Am I right? And I met the Fire Lord guy. Interesting guy, I must say. I mean, he has antlers that can rival Megatron's and he speaks like he's from Gran Pulse. Because… Fang and Vanille have… that accent. *Still even more silence.*Von Nebula: Hmm… I guess you didn't get the reference. It was Final Fantasy XIII. It was only, like, three years ago since it was released. It's a pretty cool game. Try it out if you can. But yeah, what is the deal with those antlers? With antlers like those, I think he might as well be called "Moose Lord" instead. He looks like a deranged reindeer, I mean.*Crickets chirping.*Von Nebula: You know, the first time I met Breez, I actually didn't know she was a guy until I found out her name. When I saw her name was "Natalie Breez," first thing I thought was "that's not a normal name for a guy character." You know, because that's a girl's name. You have Natalie Portman. Um… Natalie Imbruglia… you know? *Crickets stop chirping, guy coughs.*Von Nebula, singing: Didn't want to leave you with the wrong impression, didn't want to leave you with my last confession… yeah… of love…*Audience stares at him with blank expressions.*Von Nebula: Ever heard that song? It's pretty good, actually. But anyways, at first I wasn't sure what to think of Breez after that. When I spoke to her, I even said how I thought her name was odd until I found out she was a girl. I felt pretty stupid after that. Her 2.0 upgrade only made it worse for me, you know? You know what I mean?Guy: You're lousy.Von Nebula: You won't be so smug when I drain your hero core! But anyways, was I the only one who thought the 2.0 upgrades looked weird? Evo's face looks like part of a locomotive. And hey, Stormer, what does the scouter say about my power level? Huh, am I right? And what about Furno's google eye goggles? You know, I thought his first helmet made him look like a pizza boy. His second helmet, I didn't know what to think. Nex looks like he's trying out for the local football team. Huh, am I right? That part of his helmet… looks like a football helmet. *Audience is silent once more.*Von Nebula: Personally, I think my upgrade was a bit cooler than Stormer's 2.0 upgrade. I mean, I'm much taller than he is and he's only just a little taller than before. Plus I got to keep my arms spikes and I got this special lollypop that creates black holes. Could his weapon do that? I don't think so. If he were here right now, I'd like to tell him a few things. Like… Thanks for the memories. Even if they weren't so great. Stormer and me go way back. He always has to take the glory. I think if he couldn't take the glory once in his life, it would probably kill him. You know, because it's hardwired in his mind. To take the glory. For everything. And to crush my dreams. So then that's when I decided if I couldn't live out my dream, I'd become a criminal mastermind and make sure no one else could live their dreams.Guy: What is your dream?Von Nebula: Partially to be a stand-up comedian. But you don't want to know about my dreams. Thank you all, you've been a wonderful audience.Mak Megahertz: Let's hear it for Von Nebula, everyone. Von Nebula… the criminal mastermind who's also a stand-up comedian. Now, give it up for the half-time act, part-time villain and part-time singing sensation, Black Phantom.*The stage darkens and Black Phantom runs up on stage to the same microphone Von Nebula was at. And then the music starts...*Black Phantom, singing: Hey, I’m Black Phantom, and this is crazy, but I’m so EVIL! I want your factory! It's hard to think right, I’m so crazy, cause I’m so evil, so give up, maybe? Hey, I’m Black Phantom, and this is crazy, but I’m so EVIL! I want your factory! And all the little heroes, want to stop me. But I’m so evil, so give up, maybe?
  8. You’re not sure what to think when they tell you just who the heroes just brought into the station, much less that they want you, of all people, to interview him. You’ve been working as a reporter for the Makuhero Tribune for maybe five months, tops, and your specialty is the sports section. You interview athletes, not criminals, for chrissakes! Speedy Gonzales is one thing. Christian Henderson is another thing entirely. Of course, the paper is going to make you refer to him exclusively as Core Hunter. The editors love the supervillain motif so much more than the fallen hero, so they’re obviously going to milk it for more than it would ever be worth. With a sigh, you grab you pen and paper, your tape recorder, your camera, and your tripod, bundle it all into your car, and drive down to the detention center. You’re sitting in the interview room for a good ten minutes before they bring him in. They have to use the larger door to fit him inside, with the shoulder spikes and all. They persuade him none to gently to sit down in the reinforced chair, then immediately cuff him to it. Seeming slightly satisfied in his restraints, the half dozen heroes take up positions around the room and clutch their weapons with clear nervousness. The first thing that strikes you about him is his sheer bulk. Core Hunter is an impressive specimen of physical power, as his massive form easily conveys. The next thing to strike you, however, is the weapons, or lack thereof. His plasma gun is locked away somewhere, and his core remover is bound and locked up like an illegally parked car. Even as you watch, it whirrs and struggles faintly with its bindings. Even his distinctive visor is missing, leaving his visage exposed to the world. After all that, you look him over again. His armor is engraved with unusual circular designs everywhere, excluding his face. You have to pause for a second, because holy cow, he’s actually kind of good looking underneath the mask. He catches you staring and grins, every trace of calculated cruelty clear on his sinister smile. “Let me guess,” He drawls, the grin never leaving his mouth, even if his eyes remain focused and hard. “You were going to ask about the mask. Or maybe the engravings. Or, were you going to be original and ask why I did it. Why I became a criminal. It’s not like anyone has asked that before.” His voice cuts through you, razor sharp. You stumble over your words, prompting a short, hollow laugh from him. “Do I have you scared, little one? You’re not worth my time. You, the guards, none of them. All I want is your cores.” He leans back in his chair, perfectly relaxed despite the cuffs. “The engravings are based off an old human ‘language,’ the language of the Time Lords in one of their science fiction shows. Time's been an interest of me since I was small." He coughs, quietly, then continues on. "I’ve taken the liberty of adding your name, as well as everyone else’s in the room, already. The mask lets me spot structural weaknesses, amongst other things, like the water damage in the room above us where they’re keeping my weapons. As for why I did it, wouldn’t you?” As you try to find the words, he smirks wider. “Don’t bother answering. It won’t matter soon.” He rises to his feet, the cuffs and shackles falling to bits as they try to impede him. As the heroes raise their weapons, the ceiling collapses with a series of explosions, pinning them under rubble and weapons. Your camera and other equipment is destroyed, but you find yourself unscathed. You sit there, paralyzed, as Core Hunter picks up his mask and gun from where they lay amongst the ruined tiles and supports, then he turns to face you one last time. “Sorry, friend. No witnesses.” His gun slides up and levels with your face. There’s the magnetic thwinp of the firing mechanism, and then blackness.
  9. Title says it all. When Mr. Makuro first had the idea to create the Hero Factory, he must have created at least one Hero that would help him to begin his dream of universal security. My question to you all is, what do you think happened to that very first Hero that Makuro ever built? Is he still alive and well? Has he reached a point where he can no longer go on missions, but stays back at the Factory as an adviser to Mr. Makuro? Or has he gone another step forward, and shut down forever? My cousin and I were speculating on this the other day, and I promised him I'd ask you guys what you thought of our theories. So, the Questions I'm asking you today are:1. What do you think happened to the first Hero Mr. Makuro ever created?2. If he's still alive in story, would you want to see him in a future episode? Maybe even released as a set? I know I'd like that
  10. Title says it all. What do you think the Hero Factory does with some of the older heroes from when Mr. Makuro first created the Factory? On a side note, what do you think they do with the bodies of Heroes that were destroyed while on missions and such? Are they thrown into the junkyard, given a proper burial service, or are they melted down and used to make new Heroes? That last one is kinda disturbing, I will admit...Thoughts?
  11. So just some Hero Factory fan art. He's an original character; for full bio see here: linkyAnd finally the art itself: linkifyI tried out some texturing on the armor, and added more dynamic shading. C&C, as always, is appreciated.
  12. This is a quick MOC I made back in October, but forgot to bring with me when I moved to Oregon in January, and then again when I visited Oklahoma in April, and then had shipped to me this past week. It is of Duncan Bulk from the Hero Factory Savage Planet arc. He is in Hero Recon duds because why not. | | | |
  13. By "humanoid figurine", I mean figures with two legs and two arms that are meant to stand on said two legs in a human-like fashion.
  14. A Breakout“Teddy Bear Hotline – please state the nature of your crisis.”This is the Teddy Bear Factory, where the best Teddy Bears in the galaxy are built. Customized with the latest charm and technology, no matter where it takes them. When 500 wretched villains strike, the galaxy’s most powerful force against evil is ready.Teddy Bear factory – we build Teddy Bears!* * *A malicious toy dinosaur turned from the dull confines of his cell to view what was a sadly common sight – Fuzzball and Rockerz leading another miscreant into storage. Mockery sounded from all directions, including the dolls and Makuta Teridax on the first floor.“Please don’t do this” whined the cuffed teddy. She was of a tasteful shade of black, and her fur was studded with miniature lightening bolts.“Nah, I’m afraid the ride’s over for you, Voltix” said Fuzzball, whose fur was more of a crimson persuasion. He shoved the bear into the cell, laser lines springing up behind her.Rockerz turned to Fuzzball as the crane loaded Voltix’s cell into place. “That black orb staff thing – maybe we should put that thing in a more secure place. It gives me the creeps.”Voltix laughed, a sharp, shrill affair. “It gives me hope, so I can stand on mountains. It gives me hope, to fight another day…” Mesmerized by her musical lit, the boys didn’t notice the black energy leaking out of Voltix’s cell until it was too late.Fuzzball smiled. “Cool! A dimensional portal!” Red lasers blinked out, and various villains leaped to the floor, headed for the column of lightening.Snuggles appeared behind them. “What happened?”“Breakout. All the prisoners are escaping!”“What do we do? There’s too many of them!”Furno slapped Eggplant on the back. “We’re Teddy Bears. That means we stop them.”So Eggplant, Fuzzball, Rockerz, and Snuggles made a number of failed attempts to control the breakout. Snuggles found himself in front of a toy shark, who was making concerted attempts to bite his head off. “notgoodnotgoodnotgoodnotgood.”Eggplant meanwhile headed straight for the dimensional vortex, only to be yanked out by Snuggles, sending the shark crashing into the rift. “You’re not ready for that. What do you think you’re doing?”And just like that, all the Teddy Bears backed up. “So sorry for the damage” crooned Voltix. “Send us a bill.” And with that, she leaped into the swirl and was gone.* * *Zebra stood up in front of the assembled teddies. “This is the greatest challenge the Teddy Bear factory has ever faced. All the villains in our custody have escaped!”Skinny, a blue-tinged bear in the back chuckled quietly. “It’s not as bad as Makuta Teridax.”String Cheese punched him. “Makuta Teridax escaped, you dimwit.”“Fortunately,” continued Zebra, “we insert chips in villain processing, so tracking them won’t be a problem.”Fuzzball nodded. “Follow your nose – the potato chip scent is hard to miss.”“But due to the large number of villains that escaped, we are sending you on individual missions to capture each one of them.”Skinny yawned.“We have new Teddy Cuffs!” announced Zebra, holding one up one with his mouth.“Why bother – the old ones worked just fine” said Snuggles.“These cuffs can be attached or thrown, and will lock on-““Enough!” said Snuggles, snatching up the new cuffs. “I’m going after the shark thing.”Zebra snorted. “I’ve already assigned him to Fuzzball.”“Well, you do a good job, kid” said Snuggles, handing him the handcuffs. “It’s what I trained you for.”Fuzzball waved him off. “Even you know that handcuffs don’t work on sharks.”* * *Snuggles pedaled as fast as he could after his green faced adversary. His tricycle squeaked as he rounded a bend and viewed his opponent on a similar vehicle.A schematic popped up. “I have a reading on Speeda Clown. He seems to be headed to the planetary navigation beacon.”Zebra, on the other end of the com, snorted. “If he gets there, incoming ships won’t know where to go, and he’ll be able to broadcast his face in a blink of an eye.”“Not on my paws” said Snuggles. He frantically pedaled after the speeding clown, activating a pair of devices on the back of the tricycle. Snowballs pelted the being, despite his best efforts to avoid them. After awhile though, the machines ran out of ammo and fell to the ground.“You thought those little machines would beat me?” snarled the clown, amidst his evil clown laugh.“No, but they did slow you down so I could get ahead” said Snuggles.* * *“Why didn’t you launch?” demanded Zebra, standing two feet away from Rockerz.“Mr. Makubear said to stay behind.” said Rockerz, earphones plugged into the back of his electric guitar. “Security reasons.”* * *Meanwhile, a small black spider descended into the prison on a thin web. Above it was a floating being of darkness, indistinctly shaped but nonetheless connected to the spider – it moved along with it across the broken storage unit.* * *Eggplant called in. “I’m in a bit of a sticky situation…having trouble dealing with this…snake…” His voice was strained, and it was clear through the video com link that his fur was stuck together. A spider appeared above the status screen, shoving and nipping Zebra. “Urgh, I hate spiders.” He backed away, nervous. Numerous spiders hearded Zebra and his lieutenants into the center of the floor, putting them in a forcefield.* * *Rockerz wandered away, going down to the empty villain storage unit. The large space, in his mind, would make a great concert hall – a place where he could imagine his audience…But then the door slammed behind him. The controls to open it again didn’t work. He flipped on the com panel. “Hey Zeb, what’s up?”“Why would I tell you?” snarled Zebra. “You spend too much time with the guitar to care.”Rockerz looked around. There was an opening, a way out, but it was high above his head. He needed rope. He didn’t have one. Except…Rockerz looked down at his guitar. Well, a bears gotta do what a bear’s gotta do…* * *Fuzzball dived the best he could, trying to stay out of reach of those powerful jaws. “Help” he whined as his aqua-jet pack slammed him into the seafloor.“You don’t understand why I can here.” roared the shark. “I came to make sure that no teddy bear would be able to stand against me.”“You succeeded” said Fuzzball. “Now stop chasing me.”The world disappeared in a shower of red splotches.“Furr-o-lineum!” crowed Fuzzball’s opponent. “Instantly removes – Hey!”The teddy bear had the shark in an iron grip around its middle, his pack and his legs pushing them to the surface. “Thanks for the help, buddy – now you won’t slip out of my bear hug.”* * *Skinny snorted. The monster he had been sent to capture was arguing with itself. He took advantage of the distraction to fire the computer-cuffs at the beast, only to watch them connect. “Those computers nowdays always take the fun out of things” he said as he grabbed the incoherent babbling mess and yanked him back to the custody of the satellite. Bored, he spilt an asteroid in half on the way back.* * *String Cheese was having his own problems, mostly that he could barely see. “Vooltiix, where arrre yoooou?” he said. The response was an explosion of pain as his body crackled with electricity.“This is an insult of the highest order” she said. “They thought a rookie like you could defeat me?” She let up on her electrical attack, slinking away.“All around the mulberry bush, the mulberry bush, the mulberry bush” babbled String Cheese, running around in circles. Voltix spun around, trying to zap him, only to find herself gradually surrounded by an ever-frightening mummification of string cheese.String Cheese smiled. “Well, that about wraps this thing up.”* * *Eggplant could not move. He could barely see, as the giant snake bent toward him with a hiss. His fingertip was as…slow…as…molasses…coming down on the trigger…BLAM.The snake screamed writhing away in pain at the energy weapon.“Hey Eggplant – need some help?” Skinny swooped in, placing his foot on top of the snake’s head to keep it there.“This…wasn’t…the rules…of the game.” strained out Eggplant.Skinny turned and slapped the catch on the snake’s holding container. “This isn’t a game, buddy. This is real life.” He grabbed his friend, pulling him along toward an interplanetary craft. “Let’s hope they don’t have to shave that green off. It’s a new fashion, I hear.”* * *Rockerz walked casually up the stairs, chewing on licorice as he went. He had managed to fix his guitar and was tuning it lazily. That is, until a bunch of spiders ran down the stairs, knocking him over. Struggling, Rockerz knocked off a few of them with his musical instrument and resumed his casual jaunt up the stairs, ignoring the spiders that nipped at his heels. Playing a soft lullaby, he entered Mr. Makubear’s quarters. The view from here was impressive. A new song was definitely on order here, just to capture the essence.A red light blinked on the corner of his vision – a slight disruption in the assembly tower mechanisms, nothing to worry about.* * *“Well, all I really had to do was cuff him after that” explained Snuggles. “I did chuck a snowball at him again, though, just for fun.”String Cheese smiled at that. “I had to engage in a tug-of-war with Intergalactic Towing Services. My Teddy Bear Pod was illegally parked.”“Has anyone seen Rockerz?”* * *“What are you doing here?” said Rockerz, looking up at the black void drifting amoung the collections of wires in the assembly tower. Energy crackled, feeding into the black cloud.“I am Black Phantom, and I will steal power from this wretched Teddy Bear factory!”“You must be pretty desperate. Do you like music? It might sooth your nerves.”“Music? What is music?Rocka smiled and began to play. As he did, the black apparition began to drift downwards toward the beautiful sound, leaving the power conduits and his power grab behind.“Get away from there!” Snuggles said, heading after Rockerz.“No” said Eggplant, crashing into Snuggles. “Let him play.”“Look” said Fuzzball, pointing to the Phantom. “He’s dancing.”* * *Zebra looked at the computer files. “Mr. Makubear, this file has been sent to an unknown location.”“Probably just another glitch.” said Mr. Makubear. “We have been having a lot of those lately. It certainly isn’t part of a larger plan or anything like that.”* * *Makuta Teridax turned away from the computer screen. “Look, here’s the plan. We use the information that our operative stole, and build our own factory to create evil villains, which we then use to besiege the Teddy Bear Factory and lure Teddy Bears away from the Factory, allowing us to take control of said Factory and rule the entire galaxy.”Von Nebula shook his head. “I am so bored.”The End
  15. Maybe I'm the only one here who was majorly confused by the Breakout episode of Hero Factory. I rewatched it a few times and here is what I've gathered.WARNINGIf you haven't seen the Breakout episode yet, DO NOT READ. Spoilers and whatnot.>At one point, Von Ness/Nebula met with Voltix and Black Phantom.>Voltix sent some kind of smoke signal out of his electricity shooter things and broke open the Black Hole Orb Staff, releasing Von Nebula and creating some kind of multi-purpose portal thing.>Black Phantom had nothing against the Hero Factory, having done nothing wrong before and was never arrested.>The only thing Black Phantom accomplished was emailing a file containing building plans of the Factory to Von Nebula, most likely so he could make his own "Villain Factory". From the statements above, it can be assumed that Von Nebula caused everything.>Jawblade stole Furno's Fire Guns, which he had when he took part in the Ordeal of Fire, meaning he must have arrested Jawblade sometime between the first encounter with the Fire Villains and his upgrade. Which was a time span of roughly two days to a week.>Speeda Demon, like all previous big villains, knew Stormer's first name.>Rocka was a part of the Hero Recon Team, which explains why he was such a huge part of Savage Planet. It also explains why he was so talented, as a supposed rookie. >Surge, while a veteran hero who is quite the electrician, is still very clumsy and immature compared to the others. He should have grown out of that by now, in my opinion. >Evo is the hopeful, young, aspiring rookie this time around. Good for him, seeing as he barely got a role in Ordeal of Fire. Also, it seems that his original traits have been mostly transferred back. He's more reckless and instinctive in Breakout, which is how I imagined him at first. >We probably won't know what Nex, Breez and Bulk are doing until next year.>Splitface has some kind of schizophrenic disorder and should be reprogrammed to have only onebrain, rather than just be locked up. >Toxic Reapa's species is a bit like the Xenomorphs from the Alien movies. Hatch from eggs as deadly larvae. Incredibly fast, mostly black, and they have corrosive blood (at least in Reapa's case he has poison shooters).>Fire Lord and Witch Doctor were supposed to be in rehab. They weren't.Maybe I'm over analyzing this stuff. Maybe the story really is just covered with plot holes. The purpose of this is to get people thinking. If you have other ideas, I'll be happy to change some of this.
  16. Poll for Tekulo: Toa of the Breeze My question for you guys is this: Would you be interested in such a Lego Game as mentioned above? So, are you interested?
  17. Here is my first large-scale Hero Factory MOC, and my first MOC posted on BZPower. I started building this after BrickFair (August) of 2011, and stopped working on it for a long time. In that long time, it fell apart a lot, and I just decided to rebuild and finish it today. My favorite parts are how strong the legs are, and how unique the body is. The body is built mostly of Hero body bone pieces. Also, this doesn't use any 2012 Hero Factory parts, because I personally don't have any... yet. [*]Side[*]Front[*]Back[*]Top[*]Close-up of Legs[*]Close up of Head[*]With a Rider[*]Flickr setSorry for the weird grain on some of the pictures. 18. Be warned, I made this about a year and a half ago, I've finally been able to take pictures of it. 19. Something I've been working on and off on for the past few weeks. 923 pieces in total. The legs came into existence first. Actually it was the cockpit as it was originally part of another MOC. Then I finished it up today, having added panels to the back and installed a cannon onto the back (it rules!). A gunmetal-black-red, six-legged, cannon-fitted, single-rider vehicle, the first of its kind! I didn't wanna overcrowd it with more weapons as it is sufficiently lethal as is.Onto the MOC!http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Darksiders/LegoDigitalDesigner/lddscreenshot16.pngOf course, since it's an LDD MOC, the image is deeplinked.Link to the LDD file here.Comments and criticism greatly appreciated.
  20. A somewhat quick observational drawing, had trouble with ideas for background so left as is, tried not to delve into fantasy too much for this piece. Might make this part of a series maybeAlso made on a 18 x 20 or so sheet of paperCorroderAnyways I'd love to get your opinions on it I don't mind a little criticism I know some of the lines are a little messy.. But still any commentary is appreciated
  21. This is an upgraded version of my previous MOC X-549FrontSideSideBackAngleAs always, C&C appreciated.
  22. His name is Color Battle. My Technic Masterpiece.I dubbed him a "Hero Factory Killer" because, he is bigger, better and badder than any of those little baby Hero Factory robots. I want Technic parts out of my figures, not limbs and obnoxious pieces. He stands about 16 inches tall, and weilds a laser rifle. The hands are an old design of mine. And the hips and torso incorporates System elements into it. This guy is a brick, everything sticks to itself. He is third in my Color robot series, first being Big Color:http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=490456which then was rebuilt into Color Spike:http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=500731which then was rebuilt to Color Battle, pictured here, link for gallery below photo.I cannot figure out how to make this photo smaller. For more pictures, bigger and more detailed, view theColor Battle Gallery:http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=502192Edit: Image thumbnailed due to dimension and file size. 23. Those are new revamps of William Furno and Natalie Breez, now as Hero Factory Spec Ops team. This department has no relations to Hero Recon Team, only best of the best could participate it. HFSO is coordinated my professor Makuro himself from his office.http://www.brickshel.../img_0546_r.jpgUsually HFSO is used for delivering dangerous cargo, catching the most elusive and powerful villains and escorting important persons. For such a tasks Zib and Quadal has worked up new skeletons which combine flexibility and simpliciy of 2.0 frames and strength and aesthetics of first line.Details of construction:http://www.brickshel.../img_0568_r.jpghttp://www.brickshel.../img_0577_r.jpghttp://www.brickshel.../img_0572_r.jpghttp://www.brickshel.../img_0575_r.jpgThat's how they made frame that pretty mobile and friendly to most of modifications.
