Mortal Kombat Trilogy - Ultimate In 2019, as my very first "modern" lego creation, I created in a Minifigure format all the characters from the first chapters of Mortal Kombat (from the first one to the Mortal Kombat Trilogy). In 2022 I decided to built a proper stand for all those Minifigures. The only construction build in this moc is the dragon on the back, its entirely composed of technic panels. 09/11/22

I often see topics that are sort of the opposite of this one, asking which aspects of the Ninjago TV show you would like to see in sets. But I rarely see stuff that asks the opposite question: are there things in the Ninjago sets that you wish would appear in the show? One thing I wish was more present in the show is Nya's daggers. They were her signature weapon in the 2011 sets, and both the 2012 and 2016 versions of Samurai X included a version on a pole as a naginata. But neither has been given any equivalent in the show. I know that pretty much none of the ninja use their classic signature weapons as much as they used to, and that Samurai X has her own signature weapon in the show (the boomerang blade), but I think these weapons really suit Nya. Kai's scar is another example. In the sets, Kai has always had a scar over his left eye (except for in the Target Minifigure Gift Set), but in the show this was omitted since such a battle-hardened look didn't fit with his backstory as a blacksmith in a peaceful village. However, that doesn't preclude the possibility of him sustaining a future injury in the show to better reconcile it with the sets. It could even be an interesting plot point from a narrative perspective since Kai is kind of vain and it would be interesting to see what he'd think if the ninja life started to wear on him physically. Can anybody else think of examples of things from the Ninjago sets that could be fun to see in the show?

So I got a shiny new display case for some of my favorite minifigs. This is pretty much just an attempt to organize some of the tragic piles of plastic that have become my LEGO collection over the years. So, I figure I'll try and describe my personal bios for these characters. Most of these are customized figures I've built from random figs and the build your own minifigures from the LEGO store. Starting from the top row from the left and going to the right: Here we have a special minifigure that was a promotional item from the LEGO shop at home site. I like to think of him as a personal assistant to help with the general chaos that is my life. (Having a plastic figure as an assistant is not very practical as all he does is smile and look pretty, but it's an unpaid position so I guess that's fine). Next we have a lovely mermaid. I have given her no backstory, nor a name. She just stands there in limbo, forever living in an existential crisis and longing for an identity. Now here we have Samantha and SAMANTHA. Samantha is an undercover agent for some sort of secret organization. Her specialty is disguise and infiltration. She has a variety of outfits and accessories to blend into the background. Her talents are normally used to gather information. As for what kind of information, idk I did not plan that far into what her organization even does. They don't even have a mission statement. Paired with her is a famous 2x2 LEGO brick whose whereabouts I always enquire about. She's a robot used as a deus ex machina of sorts. The name stands for Some Acronym Meaning A Nano- Tech Hybrid Amalgamation One of my personal favorites, we have Lilura Philyra. Lil is a witch without a voice. Whether she is incapable of speech or whether she simply refuses to speak is a mystery. She lost her family to witch hunts at a young age and studied magic as an apprentice to a capable master of the magical arts. She can often be found playing a melancholy tune on a harp. Next to her we have a Pride figure with no name. I honestly don't have a backstory for this gal here, and that's a shame because I really love her design. And here we have two boyfriends. I know nothing about them other than the fact that they are dating because I crave seeing gay dudes in stories. I did have a weird backstory made for one of them, involving power, betrayal and a convenient amnesia, but that's all very convoluted and will likely be scrapped from my personal canon. And now we have some sort of villain. Once again, no real backstory, but just look at him. He's dressed all fancy and has such a dapper little grin on his face. You just know he's up to no good with that bowler hat. And finally, finishing the top row we have another Shop at Home figure. I got two of the figures from the promotion (the first minifig on the far left) so I tried to see if I could recreate the female minifig found on the Shop at Home site. Now to list off the bottom row of figures starting with the leftmost side. Here we have Miss Cat and her two kittens. To be honest, they only got this spot because they are cats and cats are adorable. Next we have my version of Elsa from Frozen. The only problem I really have with her is that she is wearing gloves. These two are the Star Sisters. They are members of a sinister organization known as Skull Flower. Based in the city, they struggle with the choice of remaining in a criminal organization while trying their best to work towards a normal life. Jack and Megan are the two minifigs I decided to use in my epic, Light and Shadow. I have no clue if I will ever finish it, honestly. These two are from my childhood days way back when. Megan was a superhero with all of the powers of a PowerPuff girl and Jack was an afterthought side character. He's Megan's husband and a firefighter. They're madly in love (unlike in the epic where they're currently just partners in saving the world). Jack originally had no powers of his own. They have a son named Jack Jr who is an intelligent engineer who designed a robotic suit to help him fight crime. Basically Iron Man before I knew what Iron Man even was. Megan was always my protagonist in the LEGO world. I've played with the idea of making her a trans woman. Having her be a member of the LGBT community makes her feel a little closer to me (even though it's a part of the community that I'm not a member of). Next up is this weirdo guy. He's the leader of Skull Flower, a sinister organization whose mission statement is currently unknown. Idk what he's planning, but just look at that gun he has. Why do I even have guns in my LEGO world? Oh geez, I'm scared. I'm not sure how he lost his leg. He'd probably like to know that along with whatever the heck his name is. Nice mowhawk though. Here we have Professor Layton and Luke Triton from the Professor Layton series. I got super into these games and one day I was like OMG I CAN TOTALLY MAKE THESE GUYS OUT OF LEGO. Too bad I don't have Emmy Altava. I can only assume they've been trying to unravel the mysteries of my LEGO collection. Maybe they've found some answers like what it is all these secret organizations want to do and why they even exist in the first place? This is Little Red Riding Hood all grown up because I am a sucker for fairy tales and I will never be free from their icy hold over my life. And finally here we have some random Spartan who is a blindbag Megablocks figure. He crash landed in the LEGO universe and is trying to figure out what the heck is going on and how to return home. Unfortunately he is stuck in my collection forever, an outsider who can never fit in and the worst at disguising himself to blend in. Will he ever find love??? So yeah, these are the zany characters that make up my pride parade LEGO.

What LEGO Ninjago sets or minifigures would you like to see in the future? They can be characters and costumes from Ninjago media like the TV show and graphic novels, or new characters and costumes you dream up! In this topic, you don't have to limit yourself to what's realistic. Yes, I know characters like Seliel from the LEGO Ninjago graphic novels aren't likely to ever appear as figs. But if that's a fig you'd like released, you're welcome to suggest it here! I'll start off. I'd love to see "Airjitzu Nya Flier" and "Airjitzu Lloyd Flier" sets, similar to this year's Airjitzu fliers. They would come with brand-new Airjitzu Nya and Airjitzu Lloyd minifigures. I don't know if there's ever any chance of this happening, but we know Lloyd already officially has Airjitzu in the story from when he was possessed by Morro, and I think Nya should get the opportunity to learn Airjitzu as well! The Airjitzu minifigures are very stylish and it would be exciting to see what they would look like for Nya and Lloyd's elements. I'd also like to see stone armor versions of Jay and Cole (from Episode 34 "The Titanium Ninja"). We got stone armor versions of Zane and Lloyd in set 70728 Battle for Ninjago City and a stone armor version of Kai will be appearing in this year's Target-exclusive minifigure cube (one of which was somehow obtained and auctioned off at BrickFair Virginia). But Jay and Cole are still left out. I'm not sure what would be a good opportunity to release those figs, but I would like an opportunity to add them to my collection! And as silly as it is, I'd like a Kendo Lloyd minifigure. Last year's minifigure cube included a Lloyd DX minifigure, a costume Lloyd has never officially worn. He wasn't even a ninja when that costume was current! But it still looked awesome. And the nice thing about a Kendo Lloyd minifigure is that it'd have a 2011-style costume for Lloyd underneath! So together with Lloyd DX's hood, it'd be like getting two new costumes in one!

This is something I've been thinking about ever since I saw a review for the First Order Threepio figure. I was very impressed with the amount of detail put into the figure, but I started to think: is this too detailed? Is it less of a minifigure and more... something else? Looking through recent sets, I've seen the frequent use of smooth slope pieces to get better shapes. Now that's cool and all, but sometimes sets feel less like Lego and more like a scale replica. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying everything needs to be 2x4s, but I do feel that there is a line Lego has started to wander on the wrong side of. So what are your thoughts? Should things be a bit simpler? Should they continue to make things smoother and add more printing to figures? Or something else?

...I don't like the concept of The Simpsons in the Minifigures line all too much, But I do wonder if the line is going to be branching out for other licenced themes. If so, Marvel characters sounds like a nice idea. If they read my mind/read this topic, these are a few characters that,I think, would be good for such a series. 1) The Bombastic Bag Man...(look it up). Yes, of all of the Spidey suits that I would suggest, I chose the most rediculous. The namesake paper bag could either be a new headgear mold or a variant of the minecraft cube head. 2)Pirate Deadpool. This costume or any other suit worn by The Merc with The Mouth requires no further explaining...NEXT! 3)Lawyer She-Hulk The cousin of Bruce Banner in lawyer garb sounds good to me. A formal green hairpiece, lime head, printed tile and briefcase all sound collectible to me. I will add to this later. Any thoughts?

Dear Lego, Droids from the Star Wars universe fascinate me. Especially the obscure ones that no one remembers. No one except me. So, unless you want to lose an extremely small percent of your sales, you would be wise to release both CCBS builds and minifigures for C-3PX and I-5YQ before the decade is out. Get on it, Bonkle

Hello everyone. I've been looking at minifigures recently, and I spotted something that's really bugging me. In 2001 and 2002, Agents Flex and Charge have their own signature faces. However, in 2004, the general concepts of the faces were kept, but redesigned, and seemingly switched between the two. Was there ever any explanation for this?

Well in 2014 the Heroes are going to be minifigure size, so i like to know of what you guys think about the minifigures. I think there okay but they remind me so much of the Toa Mahri Minifigs and with the new villains also remind me of the Visorak.

Hey guys. I was browsing Brickset's new parts database earlier (all parts sourced from service.LEGO.com's parts database), and found some parts that are probably from either series 9 or future series. Just dumping them all here since we don't know what series they'll be in. With my transfer to a new college this semester came a new laptop-- a MacBook Pro with a screen resolution of 1440x900. I spent a while looking for a good wallpaper for it (preferably a LEGO-related one), but I couldn't find any that particularly appealed to me, especially ones that would look good at this screen resolution. Finally I decided to make one myself.I put this together using this year's Ninjago character wallpapers as a background (Photoshopping multiple backgrounds together to remove the minifigure photographs and character names) and high-resolution CGI minifigure images from cache.LEGO.com as the foreground image (example source image). The NRG Ninja minifigures are amazing character designs, and pictures hardly do their elementally-charged metallic prints justice, but still there's something magical about shiny LEGO minifigure images, especially larger-than-life ones that truly let you take in every little detail. Click the image to view it in full size: And if anyone's curious, here's what it looks like on my desktop. I think I will be happy with this layout for quite a while! You are welcome to use this wallpaper yourselves. If you would prefer it in a different resolution (1440 pixels wide or smaller), just ask-- I still have the original Photoshop document with all the layers separated, so it will be no trouble to change the size or aspect ratio.

While going through my collection recently, I noticed that I still have a few old Series 3 Minifigures that I never really wanted. I had always intended to see if I could trade them for something I'd actually enjoy, so I figured, carpe' diem, and all that.Anyway, here they are: The Rapper, The Mummy, and The Snowboarder. All are complete with accessories and figure bases.I would be willing to trade any or all of them for (in approximate order of preference):DeadpoolNRG ColeorRattlaI would want their accessories, as well (and preferably spinners / cards, if applicable). Finally, a few craveats:-I can only ship within the continental U.S.A.-We both pay our own shipping.-You send first, unless you're a trusted trader. Now to sit back and see if anyone finds this topic...EDIT: The image is deeplinked now. Frag, that's embarrassing..."But as long as I'm here, I get to bust heads!"

Was reading a book on Rome and realized that the collectable minifig, the gladiator has some false info. It fights with a gladius and shield like the Secutores however they wear the helmet of the Dimacheri, who fight with two swords.??? Look this up on Google Images and see for yourself!
