Sooooooo, contest! and it's one i can enter for once!

 

even though i have never seen any episodes of that ninja thing, i sorta get what goes on. something something danger something something legendary weapon something something cool vehicle time!

 

so, i guess i just injected the ninjago formula into a new location:

 

 

the place where the Water Dragon is could have been cleaner, but that was out of my ability to fix, oops.

I love the claustrophobic effect that you've produced while still keeping the three subjects connected, as it were.

This is a pretty cool concept. I like the glow effects you put in to contrast the pitch black background. It definitely makes things feel ominous.

Nice work! I like the pitch-blackness of the background and how it gives the piece, as Wind said, a claustrophobic feel. Good detail on each of the subjects, too. My only criticism has to do with the water dragon, so I'll leave it at that. Best of luck in the contest!

Yeah, on the dragon i did the lines first, then colored. (my usual drawing style) but i had already done the rest colors first, then some lines for detail.

...

didn't really feel like re-drawing a whole dragon though, so i left it.

 

(some really super art pieces ninja'd their way in on the last day, so i got predictably clobbered in the contest. :u )
