The Great Spirit DM Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 NujaniiBZPP was putting up a valient fight, but she could not hope to maintain this for much longer. The blasts of water and light, however, caught Nujanii off guard. Nujanii fell downwards, dangerously close to the water and a pack of sharks. Nujanii flew up and around BZPP. Nujanii flew up, and, facing BZPP once more, began circling again. This time, however, Nujanii did not use physical blows that could boost her speed. Nujanii instead pelted BZPP with fire, also increasing her gravity so that she would have to concentrate on staying in the air as well as dodging (or avoiding) fire. And, Calix or not, there was little chance of returning from this unscathed. Conflux: BIONICLE Tabletop Combat System

The Great Spirit DM Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Oh did I? You just put yourself between a rock and a hard place.NujaniiNujanii withdrew heat from around BZPP, causing the water around her to freeze. Next, Nujanii lowered the weight of the ice and BZPP, making BZPP rise from the water in her icy prison. Nujanii then smashed the ice and, giving BZPP no reaction time, blasted her with fire. Lenore Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 OOC: Didn't see that coming. It hurts a lot to be flash-frozen, smashed and then barbecued nice and crispy. The pain caused her to black out and fall into the water, which promptly revived her. She summoned Gali Nuva and dived deep where Nujanii's heat withdrawal would be useless. OOC: Come and get me. The Great Spirit DM Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 When I say 'heat withdrawal', I mean that I move heat from one place to another. The water around you, when heat was removed, froze. I can do this anywhere where there is water. I can even do it with just water vapor. It is more powerful the higher the humidity. However, anyone with water powers can counter it (unless submerged) by creating a zone of 0% humidity. However, by going underwater, you have not removed youself from getting frozen.NujaniiNujanii summoned Tahu and Kopaka Nuva. Together, they utterly destroyed Gali Nuva. Nujanii banished his two minions, then summoned 100 Gali Nuvas and a Tahu Nuva. The Gali Nuvas shared their water breathing powers with Tahu Nuva and Nujanii. Tahu Nuva sheilded the group and they all went down to get BZPP. Fortunately, they had not lost sight of her. Conflux: BIONICLE Tabletop Combat System
Lenore Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 (edited) With Gali dead, BZPP summoned another Gali and Nuparu Mahri and they formed a Kaita (remember BZPP gets her water powers from her Special Weapon, She is a toa of light and lighting) with the Kaukau letting them breathe and the Volitak granting them stealth. OOC: And that must be very draining, you're a toa of fire not heat, you can still manipulate heat to a certain extent but its more limited and very draining. The Great Spirit DM Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 NujaniiBZPP had formed a kaita. It was not, however, very fast. Speed flows from purity. And BZPP was not pure, she was a Toa of two elements. This ment that she was not all one or the other. Gali Nuva helped this, but the Kaita was not as quick as Nujanii. Even less so when he used his kakama. And Nujanii almost always used his kakama. The Gali Nuvas, able to scense distubances in the environment, knew exactly where the kaita was. And that was all Nujanii needed to know. Nujanii drew the heat from around the kaita, casing it in ice. A pity, thought Nujanii, that they didn't think to include a Toa of Ice in there... Lenore Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 The ice was easily shattered by a seismic wave and a surge of electricity slayed Nujanii's pathetic excuse for an army. Nujanii held his breath as long as he could. Nujanii removed his shield and held it in both hands. He then used his Garai to increase the gravatic pull of the ship's side on the shield. It took a lot of effort, but Nujanii managed to make his idea work. Nujanii ended up with his shield stuck to the side of the ship half way up. The Great Spirit DM Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 NujaniiNujanii noted the pillars of water. Nujanii also noted that he was quite clear of them. He had plenty of time to react. And react he did. His Garai increased the gravatic pull of his shield and the BZPP's sword. Nujanii also increased the gravatic pull of the ocean floor on BZPP. Nujanii knew quite well that no non-Pakari wearer could hang onto that sword. Conflux: BIONICLE Tabletop Combat System

The Great Spirit DM Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 (edited) NujaniiNujanii sighed. He used his powers over heat and flame to do something almost as powerful as the gigantic block of ice he had made long before in a round long ago that nearly everyone had ignored. Nujanii used his Garai to lift the ship from the water. He then withdrew heat from the sea below, turning it to ice. The now-nonmanipulatable ice was thickened as Nujanii drew more and more heat from the ocean below, channeling it into the sky above. Nujanii then set the ship down, and stopped freezing the ice. It was several yards thick. Nujanii was exhausted. He fell from the sky and landed on the ice he had just created. The PSJS rendered the fall harmless (and the ice was not harmed at all), but Nujanii needed to rest. BZPkaita could not reach him quickly. By the time BZPkaita swam around the block of ice, Nujanii's flame powers would have built up sufficiently to battle BZPkaita. If not, Nujanii could fight with gravity. His Garai was inexhaustible, after all. Edited December 6, 2011 by kanohi_master Conflux: BIONICLE Tabletop Combat System
Lenore Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Nujanii was wrong, a couple of warps and BZPKaita was standing over Nujanii grinning and charging light energy to blast Nujnaii away. BZPKaita also summoned the PIG to give Nujnaii's Garai a small hairline crack that would cause it to go out of control if used for the rest of the battle, the reason was that Nujanii had ignored BZPKaita's attack and that was not nice and lifting a ship was GModding and then freezing that much water was too much for a toa of fire. OOC: You can still use the Garai just don't expect it to work the way you want it to, see what happened to Pohatu when Gorast used her mask on our favorite toa nuva of stone. Blog "A Cask of Amontillado": Breaking News
The Great Spirit DM Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 (edited) Your pillars of water were not ignored: simply frozen. Lifting the ship was not godmoding. Hewkii Mahri lifted the collesium. With difficulty, but still, he did it. Freezing that much water would not be too difficult for a Toa of Fire, I simply must wait for my flame powers to return. Gorast used her mask to make Pohatu's stone powers go berserk. Not relative, or I don't get it. Probably the latter. And while I wait for my fire powers to return, I cannot fly. Exploit that if you will.NujaniiNujanii's Garai was unreliable. Nujanii's fire powers were still recharging, and he was weak from his last post's effort. Without the Garai, he was nearly defenceless. And Nujanii refused to use his Garai, cracked as it was. The mask would do worse damage to himself than to his target, Nujanii desided. That left him with his shield and PSJS. PSJS would, Nujanii hoped, keep him alive. The shield would have to keep his enemy at bay. Nujanii considered summoning the PIG for misuse of the PIG, then rejected the idea. He would simply wait out the rest of the round. If he used the PIG now, there was a chance that he would have the PIG used on him for misuse of the PIG. The Great Spirit DM Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 NujaniiNujanii was officially out of fire. For the next few posts at least. For the rest of the round at most. In any case, Nujanii had few options available. Nujanii could throw more kanoka. That one was likely to be futile, with his opponent having that Jutlin. Nujanii could risk using his Garai. No. Broken masks were never reliable and should not be used. Nujanii could use his shield's rebounding power to send his opponents away. That'd be an acceptable plan, as it had no chance of backfiring. Nujanii could summon something. Nujanii didn't like that idea. He prefered to fight by himself. Besides, he had been bucketed because of an army that he had summoned. Twice. Nujanii had another option: hitting himself with a preformance enhancing kanoka...Nujanii pulled out two kanoka. One was a disk of strength. Nujanii felt his physical strength return fully and then some. Nujanii then hit himself with the other kanoka, which was a disk of elemental energy, from which the mask of elemental energy was forged. Nujanii was completely drained of elemental power, so the disk didn't help much, but he could use fire again. Which was nice, though Nujanii knew that his elemental powers would be quickly redrained. Edelgard Posted December 7, 2011 Author Posted December 7, 2011 Round 12 Over. The winning tag team this round is the duo of Demon Llama and MoC1: BZP Paladin, for their frequent posting, sort-of team work (the only team that had both members post relatively frequently), and stuff. You may both design a special weapon each for me to approve via pm.Round 13: Bionifight (iBrow Modifier)This round you all find yourselves teleported to a land of bedrock. This bedrock is indestructible; it has no hills or dips; it is a flat, endless, indestructible, unalterable field of battle. In addition, this round will use the brand new iBrow Modifer, which will cause certain unfortunate events to occur at different points in the round.Good luck! Also, I noticed a severe lack of posting by everybody last round; I'm assuming partially because it was tag team, but I have a feeling it also has a little to do with two members of the game- MoC1 and knaohi_master.
