Marauder's Waste conquers its colony! When the guards at Matoro-Koro saw the approaching fighters, they assumed the well-armed matoran were coming to demand that more widgets be sent back to Marauder's Waste. Instead, the army stormed through the city gates and made straight for the residence of the turaga, tearing down the flags of Matoro-Koro as they went. The Matoro-Koro Defense Legion called up units to defend the city, but only the small squads managed to arm themselves in time for battle. These units and the rest of the Matoro-Koro Defense Legion were completely destroyed due to the overwhelming superiority of the attacking army. During the course of the battle, a Large Workshop and two normal Workshops were destroyed, and the Treasury of Matoro-Koro was emptied. Following the defeat of the city, its former leadership was imprisoned, and the victorious battalions and squad were reassigned to Matoro-Koro, which was officially declared to be under the governance of the feared ruler of Marauder's Waste, Shadowhawk.

 

Matoro-Koro has been conquered. The map will be updated shortly to reflect the new ownership.

Matoro-Koro colonizes Koburg! Koburg put up a fairly strong defense, but in the end, it was not enough to stop Shadowhawk's seemingly invincible army, and Koburg became a colony of Matoro-Koro.

The last surviving bridge between Christmas Town and the neighboring cities was destroyed today. Witnesses in Koburg were unavailable to give further details due to the fighting in that city. Additionally, no investigation into the matter could be initiated in Christmas Town, because Christmas Town is now completely cut off from the outside world.

Attack on New Tahu Fails Again! Though Luri-Metru raised a new battalion today, that battalion didn't get a chance to fight in the battle, and the forces of Luri-Metru ended up faring no better than they did in their previous colonization attempt. New Tahu's defense was slightly less spectacular than before, but it did the job, and New Tahu remains free and independent.

Luri-Metru Attempts to Conquer Colony! Had the matoran from Luri-Metru been prepared to face the watery terrain before them, this battle would have been extremely close, ending in a stalemate which would have preserved the limited freedom that Harakeke Metru retains. As it happened, though, neither of Luri-Metru's water resistant units participated in the action, and Harakeke had no trouble at all in winning the fight.

Despite three out of seven units in the military forces of Luri-Metru being water resistant, in another stroke of terrible luck for the would-be conquerors, their three weakest units fought the battle, the light attack ability of those units made worse by their lack of water resistance.
