Toa Turing
As a departure from my usual style, I decided to make Tahu Mata in set form. This is my first set-style drawing, so it's fairly terrible, but I might experiment with it further. Pro tip: it looks better if you stand back a couple feet. And squint. Axilus Prime
Very wavy look...but instantly recognizable. You could pass that off as a heat waves/smoke effect. It's decent enough. In time, you'll improve. Provided you keep trying, of course. I find that when drawing things like this, it's best to outline the whole thing in wavy lines, then use rigid lines to draw all the biggest chunks, then use likewise rigid lines to fill in the spaces in between and all the tiny details. That technique might help you. Edited March 13, 2015 by Axilus Prime

WHOOSHYou're right it is horrible. Looks nothing like Tahu. All that white he may as well be Kopaka using his Hau. Yeah incase you hadn't figured out yet I am teasing. This does look like an uncolored Tahu and not actually Kopaka. Even close up. No standing back and squinting required. Cwog
Like said before, instantly recognizable. Sure, not the best drawing ever, but you'll get better the more you try. I really like it!
