fishers64
I just saw a YouTube video embedded in someone's signature. My question is whether we are allowed to do that, or is it against the rules? The signature guidelines don't seem to speak to this matter, except that the video can't autoplay when the page loads. But if not, are we allowed to have them in there? Taria Pakari
Honestly that seems like something that would probably be better linked to rather than having the video actually in the signature.
Sumiki
I don't think there's anything against that sort of stuff as long as it fits in the 800x300 box and doesn't automatically play. Stuff that makes noise has been banned in signatures and avatars for a long time. Don't know how the file size is counted—I'd imagine that would be the biggest concern here. 1 Quote avatar by Lady Kopaka
-Windrider-
Embedded YouTube videos are taller than 300 pixels by default. I'm not sure there is a way to change the dimensions without using html, so I'm going to say it's not allowed - unless there is indeed a way to use the media tag to tweak the height. Well it says "Flash Only", but maybe someone should test it out to see if it works with videos.
