Hapori Tohu
Between the time of Toys R Us stores announcing its closing and liquidation to everyone looking for deals now, our thoughts that LEGO was not being liquidated were not spot on. In the month that has passed, many fans have found LEGO on sale from 5 to 15% off, varying from this month's sets to last year's along with LEGO Dimensions packs. Furthermore, many toys in the store have followed this trend of not being drastically reduced...yet. Catching up with a TRU manager this past weekend, I found out that the liquidator starts things off slow and adjusts discounts as necessary, but lots of toys are flying off the shelves with even this small percentage. The next wave of discount adjustments should come this week, and as before this varies from store to store. Hopefully us fans and collectors can all find some deals as we mourn the loss of this popular toy store chain. CHTrilogy
And I keep wondering... was there something anyone could have done? Something I could have done to stop it? If only the past could be changed... Quote ~ CHTrilogy

BIzzy
I assume that in order to verify if a Lego sale is going on in a particular store, it's necessary to go into the store rather than checking their online store? Quote pirate wreck
