BBC #75 Apollo and Artemis

This is Poor Disadvantaged and I's entry into BBC #75. Based off of the twin Greek gods: Apollo and Artemis.

Marvelous use of skintones and cloth parts on both figures, and I love the way you two used the golden Hau and Creature head as helmets.  Apollo's lyre is downright inspired, although his arms and legs look a bit janky.  Artemis is basically flawless- the beautiful bow and quiver, the flora, the archery glove, the way all the CCBS shells blend together so seamlessly.  She's probably one of the best MoCs I've seen in recent memory, perhaps ever.

These two have great things going for them, particularly Artemis. I think it's really hard to squeeze that much detail into this build size, so kudos for the excellent execution!

 

While I like that Apollo has a really cleverly built lyre, I believe he should have turned out a lot smoother than this. Were it up to me to build these two, I would try to clean up his aesthetic as much as possible, and try and color-block some more flesh onto there (using whatever tan parts I can find that would fit said aesthetic). I would also try to incorporate as much fabric as I can - the Elite Praetorian Guard has the best fabric for this imho.

 

Nevertheless, an excellent pair of MOCs and I look forward to seeing their placement in the contest! All the best to you and your collab partner!
