What happened to mnog3d?

I remember mnog3d being developed, despite not having a BZP account I would check these forums on the progress of it. Eventually progress stopped and I recall hearing something that the project was abandoned. Does anyone know what happened?

I assume you're referring to Project MNOG 3D, the ones working on it couldn't keep going because real life stuff was a priority for them at that point.

Our project leader received a job offer... hmm... from Hasbro, I think... and could no longer work on it.

Without leadership the project basically died.

It’s nice to have fan projects that are dedicated to Bionicle. I respect that a lot. However, some are stopped in production because their makers have other things happening. Some are still there, and you could wait a long time to for them to be completed. It’s sad, but it’s true. Believe me.
