Given the direction of the internet and society, do you think that it’s likely that we will see a revival of forum sites?

Social media entirely revolves around ad revenue, views, product pushing, and is dictated by toxic algorithms that seek to bombard the amygdala.

My hope is that as people become nostalgic and recognize social media for what it truly is, sites like bzpower get more traffic as people return to their hobbies rather than doom scrolling brain rot content lmao

(Thought this was about the forum revival rule at first)

Who knows? We can't be the only ones disheartened and let down by Web 3.0. I am personally planning on replacing my iPhone (which I am sure is ruining my life in ways I cannot put into words) with a dumbphone so I can listen to Avril Lavigne and pretend it's 2007 again.
