Idk maaan Lego seemed to clap a lot of the G1 bootlegs pretty quick

Has anyone wondered why G2 bootlegs are so ubiquitous? They are very easy to get a hold of and the manufacturers don’t even try to hide the fact that they are blatantly copying G2 Bionicle. No name changes, no recolors, or any creativity whatsoever to avoid copyright infringement. I have a theory that Lego is aware of the scalpers selling G2 sets and is allowing these bootlegs to exist as a result. Kinda weird that they cracked down harshly on the Bionicle Masks of Power game, but not these prolific bootlegs.

Definitely have no intention of selling it for the foreseeable future. Kinda wanna make Kahgarak mocs, but might just buy the piece on bricklink

To my surprise I found a sealed visorak battering ram play set, had to go on a bit of a drive to pick it up for 50 bucks. Never was a huuuge fan of the play sets but this is definitely one of the play sets that I’ve always wanted to add to my collection. On the fence about opening it up 😭😭😭

Given the direction of the internet and society, do you think that it’s likely that we will see a revival of forum sites? Social media entirely revolves around ad revenue, views, product pushing, and is dictated by toxic algorithms that seek to bombard the amygdala. My hope is that as people become nostalgic and recognize social media for what it truly is, sites like bzpower get more traffic as people return to their hobbies rather than doom scrolling brain rot content lmao

The last bionicle I bought was a thornatus v9 that I found in the clearance aisle at walmart. I was very suprised to find a 3-year old set sitting around at walmart.

I would suggest getting rid of the metru head on the matoran and replacing it with a mata head. Other than that you have yourself a great moc.

This is an interesting concept. The vehicle is elegant yet simple and the color scheme doesn't clash. It would be nice if there was a seat for a gahlok Va and if the vehicle could launch multiple inactive krana.

I like it! You did a pretty good job making "waffle eye" appear more feminine.

Thats a pretty nice moc. I like the custom torso, legs and weapon but the only thing that looks out of place is the glatorian helment.
